Hello everyone, i finally got around to sharing the last diary of this round, the fifth seed is Lemon OG by @SuperSativaSeedClub. It is brother of Colombian Jack meaning both came from the Canapa Mundi fair in 2022.
This seed was one of the three that I germinated the 10/09 but compared to the others, because it was older, it needed 4 days to fully sproute. Despite it showed the roots very soon in the water, only after 24 Hr, so I planted it in the plug of Biotabs and i fed it with the plug's Startermix (LemonOG is circled in red in the photos).
The time between the sprouting and the transplant in a plastic cup of LightMix soil of BioBizz with a 1/4 tsp of Mycotrex was only one day but she showed a good root and healty, so at the end fortunally finished the plantula stage in a perfect condition.

Lemon OG is the result of crossing Super Lemon Skunk with the original OG Kush from Kees and Karel’s gene bank. Super Lemon Skunk is a Sativa dominant variety which is crossed with the Indica dominant OG Kush.
Lemon OG has a very powerful and pungent smell! It is a rich and fruity Kush aroma, with a deliciously sweet, lemon citrus taste with hints of spices, herbs and peppery kush.
Lemon OG has a potent effect which can hit quickly and last for a long time. Its effect is very happy, calming & slightly euphoric. It can give the user very strong pain relief which is perfect for sleeping or relaxing on the couch. The medicinal properties of Lemon OG are also impressive. With over 20% THC and a lot of other cannabinoids this is a very calming and relaxing smoke. Ideal anti-stress medicine! It’s perfect if you need powerful pain relief and a strain that can also produce a strong appetite.
Lemon OG has a low to medium stretch during flowering. She needs around 8-10 weeks on average, but there are phenotypes that can be even a little faster than that. Being a hybrid cross this strain can show a few different phenotypes ranging from Lemon Skunk to a more like classical OG Kush and anything in between. The bud structure seems to be more Skunk than OG, but with the compactness of a solid Indica.

Hello mates, i'm very happy to have this chance to grow Lemong OG, after waiting two years.
As the other plants, i transplanted her in the first day in the pot filled wiht LightMix soil of BioBizz mixed with BioGrow of Green House Feeding and the hole sprinkled with Mycotrex poweder of Biotabs.
Here it is another one with big will to grow rapid, compared to the others she had a slightly too big internodal distance and the new sprouts a bit little. However, she is in excellent condition.

Helo mates, the second week of vegetation of Leomn OG is here!!
As for other plants i change the LEDs intensity (they are all under the same ligth), increasing at 60% both. The development of Lemon is been the principal reason of this raising because she devoloped a big internodal distance comparend to the growth of the new sprouts.
She had 4 internodes before the toopping and pruning done in the 03/10, i left 3 internodes. The growth rate is been high, in three days Lemon showed a big reaction with the secondary branches eager to grow.
She is very healthy but i'm a bit worried for the colour of the top branches, we'll see in the first days of next week if an intervention will be necessary.

Hello mates, third week of vegetation for Lemon OG.
She was definitely the plant that surprised me more than others, a monster growth in higth compared to other plant in the tent.
I did something wrong with my Ca/Mg rate in the base water. I checked again how much grams of Epsom salts i must put in the base water and there finally i found my fucking mistake, i was 10x wrong about the unit of measurement. I always put 0.2 g/L of tap water and this was the mistake because i should have put 0.02 g/L, I completely reversed the problem of the tap watear that normally have more Ca than Mg.
That could be the reason for the big elongation and the big distance between the lower nodes, that they normally was a sings of a potassium overfeeding, because a wrong rate of Ca/Mg in an organic feeding program leads to imbalances during the uptake of all the nutrients.
I did so a big LST to keep Lemon OG at the same high of the other plants with her but moreover to stimulate the growth of the little new branches.

Hello mates, welcome to Lemon OG's fourth week of vegetation.
The training of the past week gave a good result, the new branches showed already a strong growth in the first days of the week but i wasn't so satisfied about area coverage because i thought she might had a too big elongation without enought buds site during the flowering phase.
This took me to do my first 4-ways topping (17/10), i mean the topping of the 4 upper branches of the plant that start to show apical dominance, toghether a defoliation and pruning because i wanted to increase the uniformity of the plant but moreover the number of primary buds.
She has needed only one day to show new branches growth so i think she was very healthy 💪 and the environment conditions are perfect for her.
I closed the week with a bit of LST to keep her at the same heigth of others plant in the tent.

Hello mates, welcome inside Lemon OG's first week of flowering.
I did some changes in my environment: i placed the net for ScrOG method at 30-35cm from the pot; I changed the light schedule raising at 80% the power of both LEDs and setting at 45 cm from the net; I fed all the plants in the tent with top-dressing thecnique, i gave to Lemon 60 g of BioBloom of Green House Feeding; I put in the tent the dehumidifer; I changed the ratio in the Base water raising the amount of tap water so 3:2 ratio (demin:tap water) because i saw that some had the first signs of need, others more serious.
Lemon is the beast of this run, she is showing a costant rate of growth also after the strongest training, and more than everything she is the only one that don't show sings of Ca issue. As for the other plant i trained her in the 23/10 pruning the lower branches more than defoliating her. I tried to keep her below the net but i could do until the last days of this week because she has already take all the net spaces available to avoid to cover the other plants. I did the second topping too late and now i know that she will be too much high compared to the others but at the same time she will have the best buds in terms of uniformity and quality.
