10.12 Cuttings were taken on 6.11 so they are now just a bit over month old. Growing conditions for these were straight up shit. No room to grow, no proper lighting, poor watering cycle. Anyways, now that all the plants are in their new 2.5L pots filled with Canna coco coir its time to start nurturing these back to life. Moved the plants into my old NoTill tent, just placed a plastic tray over the soil pots to prevent excess salty run off water to drip in there. Training method while starting out will be topping the plants atleast once to limit the vertical growth. Later on I will swap to other training methods when needed (Ill let you know if and when that happens) Tent is 80x40x160cm, Leds are 36watts per panel = 72W total.

18.12 Plants still have some pale leaves and little bit of tips burning. Still a long time before I get to taste each pheno out and then decide which plants im going to continue with. Gave a proper watering with some Real Growers Recharge mixed in, im sure these start to grow at unpleasant speed very soon ;) Plenty of time for training, which im a fan of! 19.12 Seriously need to pick up some green garden wire and SOON! Plants are recovering from the topping and starting to stretch towards the light so I brought the led panel a little bit closer to the canopy. 21.12 Humidity started to raise to unhealthy levels so I gave all the plants a big defoliation and started to main-line the plants. Some had too short stems so I didn't tie those yet, but will do when those tops gain some lenght.

2.1 Plants are already rooted in their pots but I still have unfinished business with the 2x4 I plan on growing these in. Just trying to give these water every day has proven to be difficult since all the holiday stuff and all. But all plants are still alive and genetics saved so soon I will get to selection!

10.1 Tent is so full right now, cant wait to repot these into bigger pots and give em more light. Cant say that im Main-Lining these, realized that super fast. Some are topped once, some are not, more about this later. 13.1 Finally managed to move these into the 2x4! Some plants had really bad structure after the topping and only one of the two sides developed nicely. Raspberry parfait & Forbidden Dream are those small plants, pretty sure the big plants are going to eat those small ones alive so going to move those small ones in the smaller tent I think. Transplanting within one week!

19.1 Transplanted 5 out of 15 plants into bigger 11L pots but ran out of coco so I need to pick up more. I thought I had one opened bag but it turned out to be worm humus, oh well! I selected the biggest and most vigorous plants with good growth structure into the 2x4 tent, rest of the plants I am going to gift to friends. 20.1 Rest of the plants transplanted into 3gal pots. I washed my clay pebbles with water until no dirty runoff was coming from the washing. After that I use the pebbles to keep humidity inside the pots to aid rooting :) I ended up with 2x Malibu pie x Shockwave #1 and 1x of the rest: Malibu pie x Shockwave #2, Dreadnaught x GDP #3, Reijo's Special #4, Triple Cheese #6, Triple Cheese #7, Strelka #11

23.11 Replaced the Reijo's Special #4 from the corner with Malibu pie x Shockwave #2. Noticed something off with all the plants in the main tent, didn't turn on automatic watering yet until I figure out what's wrong. Made new nutrient mix in the tank, PH 5.9 EC 0.9. That should fix it, flipping to flower in next seven days when the plants have bounced back to life. 24.11 Did the whole exhaust installation again since I had a leak somewhere in there. Seems to be fixed now! I also installed Bluelab Controller Plus into the tent, now I get updates to my phone about possible Ph / EC drops / rises. I calibrated the Ph probe before use and setup alarm that occurs weekly, that's how I remember to calibrate the pens & probes on time. Temp&Hygrometer RuuviTag's have also been calibrated just a week ago so those are also set. With this new light hangout layout I get anywhere from 400 to 560 ppfd at canopy level, this will ofc be higher when the plants are growing to the second trellis net and gaining height. Canopy is at 65cm height measured from the base of the stem / coco layer. Lights are set up at 150 watts each, which seem to be perfect for this tent size if not using supplemented Co2. 25.1 Cleaned up some bottom growth from plants, left 2-6 branches each plant for small pollination project. 26.1 Last day of vegetation, screen is full and plants seem to come back from transplant and such. I topped the tops of main branches from all 8 plants. I decided to try this new type of elastic screen, but it doesnt cover the whole canopy so I have to place a second trellis on top of this one later.

28.1 Experienced some PH drops in the Ebb&Flood tank, trying to fix that before going forward in flower. Strelka is throwing some stresss signs so also trying to see if I can fix her up. Lights are adjusted to 50cm away from canopy, second trellis net also added into the tent. I don't have much height available so I'll try my best with bending the branches. 30.1 PH still dropped quite a bit so I added 6ml of PH+ into the res. Seems to have stabled up but still inspecting this daily until I know its sorted. Ive given the plants two calmag agent foliar feeds and the plants look way happier right now. Strelka still a bit unhappy but she will come around ;) 31.1 Bended and velcroed branches to the trellis once again, seems like once every three days is often enough to keep the growth in control.

3.2 Plants are once again tied to trellis netting. So far once every three days works, I can't wait to give a proper defoliation to this tent later in flower to really open up those budsites. Lamps are set at 45cm away from canopy, great coverage with those new hanging points. I started to notice low night time temperatures, cold air outside affecting the temperature at grow site. Ive tried to raise temperatures with running dehumidifiers constantly, but that seems to only bring the room temperature up with 1 Celsius. Ill try to get this problem solved, also noticed my temp RH% running a little high for late flower, might need to add a third 20L dehumidifier for better room control. 7.8 Tied down the plants once again, snapped like four branches while doing it. There is still plenty to go with so not stressed about that at all, humidity is over 70% in the tent so I gotta do some light defoliation before the big one...

10.2 I did first defoliation for the tent, might do an additional one on day 21 but we will see. I had to raise the lights a little bit since the tops have started to grow thru the second trellis. I also noticed that its super easy to snap some branches stems so I had to go easier than I usually do with the defoliation. I did the defoliation after the plants had been watered but that didn't seem to help that much in the end, but in the big picture a few stems here and there make no difference. Moving on ;) PPFD is around 720 to 780 ppfd/m2/s thruout the canopy, little hotspot in the middle reading a bit higher than the corners. 12.2 Checked the pots before automated watering went off and 5minutes once a day still is a good amount of water to keep the pots saturated until the next watering hits in. Plants drink approx. 1.2L of nutrient solution each a day. Checked PPFD now that the light are at the highest setting with light pulleys and im getting 800ppfd across canopy. Plants still stretch a little, but i'm hoping that the stretch end in couple days. If not, I have to remove light hangers and replace those with zipties and hang the lights straight to the roof pilars. Im only 4-5 days away of first pollination of the lower growth so also excited and a bit nervous about that. Trying to not pollinate the canopy height but only selected bottom stems. 16.2 Pollinated some lower growth on the plants, used jewerly bags and blue zipties to mark the pollinated nuggets. Easier to collect the seeds when those are done. Fan inside the tent is turned off to stop the excess pollen from spreading. I did spray the bottom part of the tent with water to kill all excess pollen too.

19.2 Did a 1.5 hour defoliation for the whole tent. Turned on the fan inside the tent also. Didn't notice pistils browning inside the tent so not sure if the pollination worked or not, we will see. Atleast now air moves thru the canopy, before defoliation it was a jungle! Canopy reads at 700-840 ppfd/m2, hotspot being in the middle. Vacuum bagged the defoliated leaves so there is no bad smell in the grow room.
