Here is the description. of the seeds from The Real Seed Company: "Genetics: Afghan (Dutch – American Heirloom) Type: Pure Indica Height: 0.75 – 1.2 metres Indoors: c. 56 – 70 days Outdoors: October Classification: C. sativa subsp. indica var. afghanica Afghaan 90 is a pure Afghan Indica heirloom direct from 1989 / 1990 Amsterdam seed stock. This sub-line has been selected to breed true for broad-leafleted semidwarf traits. Plants are compact, with very short internodes. This is a pristine, classic Indica. A curious trait of semidwarf variants of Afghaan 90 is that, after seedling stage, leaves on one side of the plant are much larger than on the other. The background story of this strain is that seeds labelled ‘Afghaan’ were acquired in Amsterdam in 1990 and stored long-term. Now, 30 years on, this old-school Indica is alive and kicking, resurrected straight from the original seeds. These are high-yielding plants with big colas that dry to nice, solid nugs. Often purple colours are shown. Buds are intensely resinous. Aromas in flower range from candy-sweet floral to diesel and hash. Smoke is earthy and spicy. The Afghaan 90 BLD line has a special lime-scented variant. This heirloom Afghan has a high that’s positive and warm, with pleasant body effects and a sense of well-being. Notably, there is none of the paranoia or dysphoria associated with some pure Indica heirlooms. “It really is the best pure Indica in the world,” says one customer." These are not feminised seeds which is why I have planted 5, I only intend to fully grow up to 4 plants. If my some miracle all 5 are female I will remove the smallest one. My last grow was an attempt to grow Kerala, a pure South Indian sativa landrace.
