0815CannaGrow On November 5, 2024, seven seeds were placed between two layers of moistened paper towels to germinate. After three days, all the seeds already showed a very stable root system, consisting of two taproots.
On November 8, the seedlings were finally planted 1cm deep into the substrate of the final pots, each with an 11L volume. Only the Gorillas will be transplanted into 20L pots if needed, once the 11L substrate is fully rooted.
The pots will be illuminated for the next two weeks with a ViparSpectra XS1500Pro lamp.

0815CannaGrow Aside from the two Northern Lights XXL Auto from the previous, failed grow setup, the young ladies look lively. Right now, I'm adding a small amount of homemade root stimulator made from DIB honey and fresh aloe vera gel mixed with water to the watering. The plants are responding very well to it and show no signs of stress.

0815CannaGrow The little ones are growing and seem to be all happy. The two Gorillas are already clearly standing out from the other autoflowers. The leaves are already about twice the size of the autos. For the next 10 days, the only nutrient supplement will be my homemade Aloe Vera/Honey solution.
Only the two Northern Light XXL Autos are having a pretty hard time... I don't even want to take any more pictures of #2 because it's just a sad sight. The "larger" #1 is struggling like crazy in its 2L pot, but it's hardly growing for its proud age of 6 weeks...
After a long search for space, I decided to shorten the vertical poles of my newly purchased Spider Farmer Growbox (120x120x200cm) by 6 cm each so that the grow box could fit under the pipes running across the ceiling in the basement. Not ideal, but it serves its purpose.
The little plants are now under the Spider Farmer G8600, which is dimmed to 50% to avoid light stress.
The two Gorillas were each topped once and gently tied horizontally to the ground with plant wire or a stake, along with the autoflowers (excluding Northern Light XXL #1 & #2), to maximize light exposure.

0815CannaGrow This week, the ladies have really put on some size and foliage again. The bigger plants like the two Gorillas, Gorilla Zkittlez Auto and Ghost Train OG Auto, have already formed two or more side branches, which have been tied directly to the edge of the pot.
My two Northern Light XXL Autos are still doing well, with #1 really surprising me with its big growth spurt. Both plants were planted together in an 11l pot because I had no great hopes for the survival of the two... I already have a bad feeling that I will soon be proven wrong 😅
The room is very warm and dry, as heating pipes run along the ceiling (outside temperature -1°C; basement temperature [without heating or anything] 22.5°C, RH 34%). I currently don't have a humidifier and am managing with a spray bottle with a nozzle as best as I can. But on some days, the relative humidity drops to
