00 Kush - 00 Seeds
Week 1
55L DWC
600W HID
--------------------
I'm having troubles managing the temperature of the tent because it's my first run with sodium lights. That's the reason because the cotiledons have begun to yellow. I will stabilize it in the next days.
--------------------
I have raised the light 10 cm more and I have achieved some degrees of lower temperature, but it is not enough. Right now the light is about 70cm from the plants and i have still 30ºC. Should I raise the light more? Or maybe buy a cooltube? What do you recommend to lower the temperature of the room?
Starting Week 2.
It is showing some stress due to the heat. We have already been working to try to lower the temperature and we hope that this week the plants show signs of improvement
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems that with the changes in the temperature and the CO2 of the room has stopped showing so many signs of stress. Obviously the leaves that were already damaged by the heat have not recovered, but the new growth seems very healthy. Or it seemed until I've topped and removed the old leaves xD Now looks like a newborn again. With the root system that has developed, I'm sure that in a couple of days it will have evolved a lot.
-Starting Week 3
-It seems to have reacted well to topping. The cuts seem to have healed well and the new buds begin to grow faster.
-Thanks to CO2 it shows almost no signs of stress
---------
-After the topping the two new tips have developed quite a bit, although the growth has been somewhat slower than in previous weeks. I hope it's due to the stress of the topping
It has had very good development this week. At the beginning of the week I did a great defoliation, in which I could observe that the plant has a mutation and one of its branches has come out with two tips without me topping it, work saved :)
In just 5 days he has recovered all the lost foliage and has even more than Monday. I am very happy with your development so far
This week has been a bit strange ... the first days of the week I kept the period of 18h of light, and on Wednesday I changed it to 12. I wanted to have done it a little before but I missed the opportunity. They take a few days with the 12/12 period and still show almost no signs of flowering. So I tell it as a week of vegetation.
It has been the first full week with the 12-hour cycle, but it still does not show any sign of flowering. I think I made a very serious mistake. This week I have topped some tips. I hope I do not have to regret having done it after the phase change to 12h
First week of flowering. Although it begins to show the first signs of flowering, it seems the slowest in the closet. It is possible that having beaten the lateral tips have delayed its flowering.
I'm not happy with my performance on this plant. I had to top it once and let it develop two good branches. Instead, I also hit some side branches, too late, with what I think I've only managed to disperse the production in tiny buds that will take a lot to trime and that surely will not yield the desired production. From the mistakes you learn, I'm trying new techniques and methods for myself and I still have a lot to learn. I hope to have the opportunity to re-grow this strain in the future and get the best out of it. Even so there is still a lot of time to talk about her as a failure. I have done LST on a side branch to penetrate more light on all chalices
The buds are not very big yet. I hope that during the following week they get fat enough. Still, I do not expect huge buds to form but rather a lot of good nuggets.
As I expected, it is not blooming with large buds but rather with countless small / medium sized nuggets. If all of them acquire a good weight and density during what is left of flowering it is likely to end with a decent production. To achieve this, I have already activated the ballast superlight mode, and I have increased the dose of Mega Bud quite a lot. With these actions I hope that the next weeks the buds continue to fatten correctly
The buds continue to gain weight little by little. I still think that they will not get very big, but the smell they give off is incredible. I would say it is the smell that I like most of all the plants in the tent.
Last week of fertilization before starting with root washing. Hopefully we'll get some bud that's worth it. The rest of the production will be very low.
We reach the final stretch of this 00KUSH that, according to its training, has produced dozens of small but very tight-looking buds. I want to clean it of leaves to be able to appreciate the production, since the large number of branches and leaves makes difficult the production of this small one. I do not know what to expect. Although I do not have too many illusions, I may end up giving a surprise because it has a lot of hidden buds that are not appreciated in the photos.
At last we have managed to reach the end of the crop and the small 00KUSH has given a pleasant surprise. The production has been better than expected, leaving some buds of considerable size and hundreds of small pips all very tight. The smell of newly cut flowers is super intense and many of them have a purple color almost black. I put them in the box that appears in the photos only for transport for 5 minutes. They are already drying in a room with the right conditions and soon we can see what the result has been in the dry. Even so it has been the least productive of the tent with difference producing 170g in wet. I know that it is a very improvable production but having applied training techniques that are not appropriate for this genetics, I am fairly happy with the result at the moment.
The cultivation of this 00KUSH has left me a bit bittersweet taste. It is true that I have not given the best possible training, and therefore the performance has been more than improvable, but the fruits we have been able to collect, although they are not of a giant size, are hard and are of spectacular quality. The taste is the one I like best among the four strains of the tent and the amount of resin is also greater than in any of them. On the other hand, the effect is devastating. Few strains have proven to have affected me for so long, leaving me on the couch for more than an hour without being able to even think. In short, I am very happy with the quality of the harvest, but the quantity has been quite scarce and has been partly due to my fault and partly due to mutations of the strain.
