belikewaterh20 Hi all, started this Ninja Fruit grow with some Bubble Gum X Shiva but had to move them out into their own tent and start their own diary. So with these seedlings I transplanted them into 1.5 gallon Air-Pots. Topped 2 and FIM the other 2. Cant wait to see how they grow with the 2 different techniques! All looking healthy and happy. belikewaterh20 Begining of week 5 went well after topping and fimming. Alot of new growth, getting little tall but still looking healthy and happy. Last day of week 5 i decided to defoliate and start low stress training. Ive read alot of pros and cons on defoliating but, I also grow a variety of super hot peppers and defoliating helps me with more growth and in the end yield more fruit. So hoping this will also help the growth of these Ninja Fruit. Also i ended up topping #4 cause after fimming wasnt happy with the growth and it was getting taller than the other 3.

belikewaterh20 Week 6 went well after defoliating and the LST. Growth is ok, getting taller so need to keep up on the training. They may be showing sex but hard to tell. Hope during week 7 they will show more and i can remove the males and focus more on the females.

belikewaterh20 Week 7 went well no problems all happy and healthy. Continued the LST to keep them short as possible they have very strong sativa traits. 2/24/19 transplanted all 4 into 3 gallon Geopots. Its a bit crowded in the tent but still unable to sex them but trying a couple clone test to see if they can give me some sort of early sign. Wish me luck!

Hey there...so i wouldn't necessarily say that sativa strains take longer to finish, but I know many Haze strains take longer. But that should only be a problem if you're growing outdoors and need them to finish before the frost. I believe the ninja fruit has some haze background. I really wanted to grow some Neville's Haze but it's notoriously long so unless you're in the more southern areas like California or somewhere that has a late late fall season it's a problem.
With your sex hunt I'd just get in there and photo everyday and watch for the preflowers and I'm sure you'll catch any roosters in the hen house in time. ✌️

belikewaterh20 Week 8 went well still growing and looking healthy. Daily I have been LST but they keep streching and i may run out of head space. So i turn on the bloom light and decided to flip them to flower to keep up with their strech and in hopes to find out their sex. Still cant tell exactly what they are, little frustrating but need to be patient. Im planning to put a scrog but i need to know if any are males before i do. Next week flower with 12/12 shedule.

belikewaterh20 So.... unfortunately this is the last post of my Ninja Fruit grow. I had to "harvest" early because all 4 plants finally showed sex and they all turned out to be MALE!!!! Pretty disappointed that not one was female but this is a learning experience and now i know what to look for in a male plant. Spent a lot of time and effort but was still fun to see them grow. So in their place I added one of my Bubble Gum x Shiva and hope SHE dose well. Thanks to everyone for all the views, likes, encouraging posts, help, and answers to my questions! Happy Growing to All!

@belikewaterh20, after 7 week some preflower should already show near the nodes, without the need to flip light cycle 24-48h
