Organic Papaya Sherbert (Papaya {Oni Selection} x Sunset Sherbet)
I soaked the seeds in a glass of water for 48 hours and then in a paper towel for another 2 days before putting them in the substrate. 2 of 2 germinated and were put in a 0.4L pot with coconut soil.
Add a couple of raifs for the moisture and off we go.
For the first 2 weeks the pot was weighed before watering.
Into Substrate 10ml
D1:
D2: 5ml
D3: keep moist
D4: 10ml
D5: keep moist
D6: 13ml
D7: put towel in tent for more humidity
Lamp 70% 65
I should have buffered the coconut more and started adding nutrients earlier.
Because there are no nutrients in the coconut.
And organic fertilizer needs about 1 week to reach the plant
Therefore a somewhat difficult start with a very light green and already a lot of yellow.
On day 14, they are planted in a 4.5 litre pot with coconut soil.
Lamp 75% 60
They were watered with 250 ml of the nutrient solution each.
I tried to bring them back a bit by using Biobizz fish-mix as a foliar fertilizer, but it didn't quite work.
I had a towel hanging in the tent and I had to wet it twice a day.
Lamp 60% 35cm
In week 4, a little more happened again.
On day 23, number 2 was topped
After more research and asking, I found out that growing coco with organic fertilizer alone is very difficult.
Therefore I ordered a new bag of Allmix
On day 25 they are repotted into a 20 litre pot with Allmix.
Lamp 80% 70cm
This week my Mars hydro humidifier arrived. Many thanks to my wife for the great gift.😍
Now the towel can finally come out.
We start week 5 with some training.💪
They were also given water with a small amount of fertilizer, as the Allmix is heavily pre-fertilized.
D30- Watered 2L/1,5L
D31 - adjusted LST,
D32- removed some big fanleaves
D33-Topped plant #1, adjusted LST and Defoliate all.
D35-The fifth week is now coming to an end. They were trained for better light flow and were also watered with nutrients. 2L/1,5
D38- LST,Defoliation I know #1 looks wild, but the completely pot is covered in growing
D42- Lst, Defoliation , soil dry wait untill tomorrow
D43- weighted pots then Waterd both 4000ml
switch to 12/12 end of this
Tent almost full, 1 quater is free because 1 seed didnt germinated and in using this space for autoflower.
I will add two hours of darkness every day starting 3 days before 12/1
Now it is finally time for the flowering phase.
The lamp has been adjusted to the appropriate DLI ( 570ppfd 12h on )
You can see slight changes after just 3 days.
After 1 week you can already see the first white hairs. Some shoots have already grown over 5cm. Both drink about 1.5L per day
week 4 and u can see some purple development
Its beginning to smell like candy inside the tent.
Plants now focusing on
B28- #2 turning more and more purple
Flowering week four is done and even the supercropping has managed to recover after one week.
the production of trichomes on the leaves is insane
The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and you can already see that these are going to be some big buds.
When you open the tent, it smells very sweet.
I water each 5 liter every third day With the fertilizer dose recommended by the manufacturer.
When you open the tent, it smells very sweet.
Watering each 5l every third day with
mid week 6 bloom and the girls drinking more now. U can see a purple shade all over the buds. Smells like Fruity melon inside the Tent.
Week 6 ended well, the scent in the tent is incredible. It smells so incredibly fruity. The first brown hairs appear, which means that they are now ripening.
we got some nice headbuds all over the canopy😋
A net would have been an advantage, as many shoots bend down completely and even the main shoots fall to all sides.
The flowers are now becoming thicker and denser. 🙏
I set the tent to a pressure range of 1.2 to 1.3 kilopascals.👍
End week 7
Buds gaining more weight every day ♀️💪
Smell is soooo intense my whole House smells if i open my tent for a second😂👋
more and more brown pistils come.
Lets go 4 the last 2-4 weeks
Over the last few weeks I have gradually lowered the temperature to 23-24 degrees.
At night it goes down to a temperature of 18 to 19 degrees
I checked the trichomes today with my new trichome magnifying glass and they are quite milky.I give the papayas another two to three weeks before I can harvest them.I want at least 15% amber.
The smell when you open the tent is just too strong.
Girls also drinking
