BoboLacetti New RDWC System - Learning the Ropes
I recently switched to a new RDWC system, and it’s been a learning curve so far. The setup includes a 20L tank, recirculating water, and top-feed irrigation lines for four plant buckets filled with clay pebbles. To monitor and control the environment more efficiently, I’ve also added an AC Infinity grow controller and a humidifier to the mix—still getting the hang of both!
One thing I’ve noticed is that there’s no air stone in the tank itself, only in the plant buckets. I’m curious to hear what the community thinks about this—does it make a big difference, or is it fine as is?
Another issue I’m encountering is with the top-feed system, which runs continuously. When I turn off the irrigation, the pump becomes louder and heats up, raising the water temperature. I’m wondering if keeping the top-feed on all the time is okay or if anyone has advice on how to manage this more effectively.
To tackle these challenges, I’ve already upgraded to more powerful air stones and a new air pump to improve oxygenation. I’ve also started using Purolyt to combat root rot and improve water hygiene. It’s a new approach for me, but I’m optimistic it will help.
This grow has been a mix of trial and error, but I’m determined to improve the setup and make it work. Every step is a learning experience, and I’d love to hear your tips and feedback!
Big Thanks to WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS!! First time test the breeder! :)

BoboLacetti RDWC Update - Strong Growth & Intense Aroma! 🌱🔥
All three of my plants are looking fantastic and showing strong, healthy growth. The Mac n Cheese has the most intense aroma so far – it's really starting to stand out!
Every week, I prepare 40 liters of nutrient solution for my 4 plants. Based on their uptake, each plant drinks about 1.43 liters per day.
Unfortunately, my Pink Rozay turned hermie, which was really disappointing. I had high hopes for this strain, but I had no choice but to remove it. Still, I‘m focusing on the remaining plants and excited to see how they continue to develop!
🚀🌿
BoboLacetti The pics are from begin of week 5.
Tomorrow i will add PK13/14
The Triangle Sherbert Kush S1 is a monster Plant.
The Mac N Cheese smells amazing.
The moonshine cookies habe a lot of small buds.
There is a lot of time left!

BoboLacetti Everything is going pretty well! The only problem is that the large plants are all very close to the light. But I think they'll manage! :) Harvesting will take place in about 2 weeks

BoboLacetti So the last two weeks are starting. Unfortunately, the last nutrient solution failed. The EC is now at 750PPM tDS. I actually wanted it to be closer to 500. Oh well, it'll be fine. In the last 10 days there is only athena fade with a little calmg
I was very pleasantly surprised by the strain. It's very potent and looks beautiful. When I harvested it, it smelled like Citrus terps. After four weeks of curing, it smells very skunky and slightly minty.
The strain was very resistant, and if I had defoliated more, the yield would have been better.

BoboLacetti I am happy with Moonshine cookies
Thanks to Weed seeds express!!
This strain had the strongest smell in the tent. It smelled very sweet. Now, after four weeks of curing, the cheese smell is coming, and I love it. The buds have become very fluffy, which is why the yield wasn't that high.

This plant was a monster. I'm sad I can't keep a mother from it. Unfortunately, it tends to produce bananas at the end of flowering. So I harvested it before it started to hermaphroditic any further.

Good luck with your new setup! I grow DWC, and have a friend that grows RDWC. He tends to have consistent problems requiring tweaks with multiple strain grows on one system. I keep mine independent from each other and don’t have the same issues. The concept of it is fantastic, if you can get it to work effectively. DWC will grow some awesome plants.
