Heads up: I made the mistake of manifolding these short growing hybrids so don't go thinking it's the best option for yield, I wasted a lot of light. These would be great for sea of green or a topping with LST!
Used a drop of 13 Essentials to help sprout and then soaked the rockwool cubes in 100PPM tap water. Using a small low watt T5 on top of a humidome.

Not a whole lot at this stage, just waiting for them to get bigger and making sure they're healthy. Put some clay pebbles (hydrotone) around the small cube to block the roots from light exposure.
On day 11 the roots were ready to expand from the bottom of the rockwool so I put them in temporary 2 gallon buckets. Had to get a couple new ones from the store still 😅 Made sure to fill the water right up to the roots and had the air stones going!
Topped them for manifolding and covered the rockwool to help prevent algae. Recovery from topping is going well! It's insane how fast they grow in hydro if you compare the past 2 days!
Finally starting to stretch from the top out to the sides and it almost looks like I didn't even cut all that growth off! These girls will be picking up the pace pretty soon here since their roots are doing well and they're recovered.
Hydroguard is doing its job at keeping the roots clean and the plants healthy, nice to see as well 👍. 5 gallon buckets soon!
Finally got them in 5 gallon buckets 😁 Drilled holes for the air lines and covered the buckets with 20 gallon smart pots we had lying around. Keep in mind I removed 3 tiers (nodes) of growth and removed everything below it so they should be larger, it's why the lower leaves are so big lol. Still getting vegetation down for hydro as well so the one on the right was a bit pissed and is 2-3 days behind.
Growth tips are finally popping out and stretching. Just letting them do their thing for a little while longer and then I'll switch them to flower! The growing method I've chosen makes the vegetation stage take longer because I have to cut growth twice but it's worth it 👌
Removed lower branches trying to grow and become main colas, they were taking up all that beautiful space and light. My plants are stretching and getting taller with new growth so all the unnecessary stuff has become more apparent, easier to remove 👌
I keep pulling them away from the center so it may not look like they got much taller 😛 This strain doesn't get tall like sativa dominants but it should hit 3ft at least. Next grow I'd like to get 2 more buckets (4 plants) so I don't have to veg as long 😪

The only way I can keep a decent yield after manifolding a hybrid that grows like an indica is to trim it in little bits daily as the fan leaves get larger. Had to remove the 4th tier shoots on all branches, previously had removed up to tier 3. All the 4th tier shoots were just shoving themselves amongst the sides of my main shoots trying to make it to the top. All they were really doing is producing leaves and taking space for the good stuff. That won't do for manifolding! Basically trimmed the main branches like a sativa, tall and tree like instead of bushy.
Not a whole lot going on this week just trimming the large leaves every day as they grow. Gotta expose all the bud sites as best I can without taking too much at once!
Carbon filter is doing its job as the smell slowly creeps to a more powerful scent.
Same thing as the other weeks in flower, just keeping them trimmed and happy! First time using Advanced Nutrients with hydroponics and the plants are loving it so I'm pretty happy about that 👍 Hydroguard is still doing its job too, roots are super healthy and clean!
Almost there! At this point I'm just waiting for them to ripen and making sure they don't stick together and mold. Upgraded my intake fan so they have a lot more air now!
Definitely don't do what I did and manifold this strain, it grows too short and indica like for that! I think these would do really well in a SOG or with low stress training 💪 Once again the taste and smell is godlike, this is a very special diesel strain. 10/10!
