cheech87 I'm going to let them grow until pre-flowering starts. Then I'll put them in a 5-liter pot. Once they get through the stretch in the flowering phase, I'll transplant them into a 25-liter pot. Let's see what comes of it; I have no idea and no experience with what will come my way later.

cheech87 The plant has gotten a bit too much water, which makes it look a little weaker at the moment, but I think it will recover from that. Currently, it is already in the third week since the seed stage. Overall, I expect it to take about 6 to 7 weeks until the flowering phase begins. I'm really curious to see how its growth develops by then and how it will behave during the flowering phase!

cheech87 Everything is fine, but they're not sexually mature yet. It should be about time now. I'm looking forward to next week! I repotted the back plant today, and in the photo, you can see how it's drooping its head just because I took it out of the tent for a moment. Almost like a mimosa!

cheech87 Here she comes, slowly but surely getting into gear. I will be growing this plant with the Biotabs program and I'm really curious to see how it turns out. It's my first time growing her, and I'm wondering if the space will be enough. There are still no signs of maturity.

cheech87 This MadMac's Original Haze is definitely female, so the long flowering phase will start soon. I'm curious to see how far I can actually go with it. In a few weeks, it will get a bigger pot. It already took 7 weeks for it to show its sex, but now the growth is slowly picking up pace.

cheech87 Finally, the long journey of flowering begins! It will probably take 130 to 180 days until it's ready for harvest, so sometime between June and August. Of course, assuming everything goes well, because I have no experience with this strain so far. Also, one plant has already been removed since it turned out to be a male. In a few weeks, I will transplant it into a 25-liter fabric pot and see how it develops further.

cheech87 I love this plant, it has a very special structure. I find it very elegant and delicate, and I'm excited about what else is coming my way. So far, it has only received water, but in a few weeks I will transplant it into a lightly flushed Light-Mix, which I will let rest a bit beforehand to ensure it neither burns nor gets shocked. I'm really curious to see how far I get, as it will be with me for a long time; its flowering time is between 130 to 180 days.

cheech87 So, I gave her a bigger pot, 25L with Light-Mix from BioBizz. This is my first Original Haze, and I'm excited to see how far I get with this marathon grow. It's the first time I'm growing such an extremely long-flowering plant. I really want to have my own experiences with the Original Haze and hope she responds well to the repotting.

cheech87 My Original Haze 90 has a very special structure. It's hard to say whether it's normal or rather weaker since I don't have any comparison values. However, it's still growing well in the flowering phase, and it will be exciting to see how it develops further. Right now, I'm only giving it water with a pH of 6.2.

cheech87 So, things are really taking off here. The plant is growing and growing, a bit wild, but I really like that about her. She's also starting to form trichomes, which of course makes me happy. I'm very curious to see how far I get with this grow. So far, everything seems to be going well. Next week, I'll be fertilizing with an EC value of 0.8. I'm hesitant to raise the value, better a little too low than too high. I'm really looking forward to the coming week.

cheech87 So, it looks like she's handled the feeding well. I'll continue to fertilize her weekly with the same EC value. She's growing really wild, and this pheno will likely produce smaller, pearl-like buds, but everything, even the stems, will be full of trichomes if things keep going well in the coming weeks. It's my first grow with this strain, but I'm really enjoying cultivating her. The smell is very unique. She smells like Vicks VapoRub, very intense and fresh. I'm still at the beginning, but I'm excited to see how this grow progresses.

cheech87 There is a slight magnesium deficiency and yellowing. As a precaution, I fertilized again with an EC of 0.7: 3 ml Bio Bloom 2 ml Top Max 0.5 ml Calmag Bio in one liter of water each. I'm very curious to see how well she handles it; so far, everything is fine, and I hope for an improvement. Otherwise, it could get tricky to keep her on the right track until the end. By the way, the smell is very fresh, especially a eucalyptus-fresh, spicy scent that I really like. The small, resinous buds also produce very nice trichomes on the stems; she is really wild.

Smell
cheech87 So, I'm starting to have a few problems, but she's still growing happily. The smell is really fresh eucalyptus with sharp notes that I can't quite place, but it's extremely awesome. The trichome production is really strong, so definitely not a hay pheno. I'll just let her keep going and see what else happens; it's still going to take a while until the end anyway. But definitely a very beautiful lady!

Smell
cheech87 I'm slowly approaching the second half of the flowering phase, very curious about how much longer this journey will last. The smell is intense and fresh, and the plant is already full of trichomes. Unfortunately, I can't get the chlorosis under control – it's getting yellower despite many adjustments and regular checks. I'd repot her again, but I have no more space. Plus, I don't want to give her too much nitrogen, or she'll probably flower into infinity and beyond!

Smell
cheech87 I have to say: I messed it up again. I really paid attention to pH, EC, and everything else, but it still went wrong. The warm weather is also playing a role in this. I really need to get an air conditioner with a dehumidifier all in one. But as I said, this is all about gaining experience and learning from it. I knew from the beginning that I probably wouldn't be able to keep them healthy until the end. But I want to learn, and I think learning by doing is the best way. Well, now I just have to somehow keep them alive for the next few weeks; I'm really curious to see how it goes.

Smell
cheech87 The plant gets extremely resinous and has a very fresh, complex smell—definitely something special. I really like it a lot, so it's even sadder that it looks like this right now. But I will stick with it and master it at least once properly. Next time, I'll let it flower in winter since I can control the temperature and climate better then. I don't have an air conditioner yet.

Smell
cheech87 It has become very resinous, and the smell has changed a lot: heavy sweet, with a fresh eucalyptus note but only in the aftertaste. Very special. Hopefully, it stays nice and dry later on. Visually, it doesn't look particularly good at the moment, but the smell is absolutely top-notch. I'm really looking forward to the high. I'm going to plant new seeds now to start a grow of this strain in the winter.

cheech87 This journey was long and unique, and I have to say: You just have to grow this strain at least once! I did have a few difficulties along the way, but I still harvested some really awesome weed. The smell? Absolutely extraordinary. Very fresh, not exactly like menthol, but you feel that freshness immediately, almost slightly biting. I would compare it most to Vicks VapoRub. On top of that: extremely resinous and really oily, just intense!

@Herbie101, Thank you! I think this is one of the strains with the highest Sativa content ever, up to 180 days of flowering time!

Looks good. A little tip for next time. Cut cuttings and take them all the way to the end. That way, you'll save yourself at least a week to 10 days. Cuttings are always ready earlier than the mother plant.. even though at 22 weeks, those few days won't make the bud any fatter😅 Cheers,
cheech87
cheech87 commented1y ago
@Oims_Finest, THANK YOU Yes, there are other advantages to such strains. But I just don't have the space and it's not legal in my country. Otherwise, I would have mother plants and wouldn't be playing pheno lottery anymore. 😂

Hammer Grow. May I ask about the taste?
cheech87
cheech87 commented1y ago
@XXHaseXX, Thanks, I'm not quite done yet, but already impressive: Sweet, floral-rosy, perfume-like, and at the same time fresh, you have to smell it to understand. Definitely top-class Sativa, no hay. Trichomes extremely dense and large. I can't say anything about the taste yet, as it's still growing.

@Mia_BIOTABS, she's just starting to pick up speed, but she's producing really nice trichomes. I did have a few problems with her, but it doesn't matter, it's all about learning anyway. I'm slowly getting better.

i have to admit, i am to impatient for an original haze- 16 weeks plus in flower---😱
cheech87
cheech87 commented2y ago
Yes, up to 22 weeks – I calculated it at the beginning of the flowering stage, maximum until August 14th. 😂 That's why I grow faster strains, it shortens the waiting time. But if you want something that not everyone has, that's the right way. I really enjoy it, and I'm learning a lot along the way.

moin moin, what's the problem now? I don't see anything major here, please explain If you're talking about the yellow leaves, that's just "normal" The lady is nearing the end and that's where the autumn colors come in, she's focusing on the flowering best, mia
cheech87
cheech87 commented1y ago
@Mia_BIOTABS, Well, I don't necessarily see it as problematic, but the leaves are already yellow and crispy. They should actually hold on for another 8 to a maximum of 14 weeks. It doesn't bother me directly, but it's just not optimal, and that's exactly the optimal range I want to achieve or at least learn about with these strains. One thing I know for sure. The dried buds would be significantly better if this hadn't happened so early. Best regards, Cheech87
