Mico toppet the first three on day 14, micro topped the late sprouter a few days later. Started alternating feed and waterings. The plants seem short, so moved the light up a little higher.

Week wend ok, a little leaf burn on tips. Micro topped one plant on five ends on day 25. Did a little light trimming on leaves covering lower areas. Getting ready to pot up, might go to 7 gln. thinking about a long veg and then outside end of May.

Week went well, repotted the plants to 7 gln fabric pots on day 33. Trimmed the lower leaves and shoots and fed again. No more leaf tip burning. Plants got a bit more height and have a weak smell.

Week went good, plants looks good and continue to grow, thought there was good growth this week. plants are getting bigger, I am picking up another light as I do not think I have enough coverage. Trimmed a bit of the lower leaves and sprout again, I figure they won't amount to much.

Moved the plants off the counter, getting too tall. plants look good. started to ph and added Cal max nutrient to the mix. Dissipointed last night when I sat out, I originally wanted to move the plants outside to continue veg then flower. I realised I have too much light pollution from the neighbors. Going to change plans and flower indoors. Added more lights, now two x 1200 and one 1000fake Chinese watt led lights. Did a defoliation and getting ready to go into darkness for one 36 hours then flip to 12/12. Bring on the buds.

Flipped to 12/12 to start flower. Lowered the lights to 18" above the plants.also lowered the bight time temperature to 68 degrees. Had trouble with the electrical, came home twice and the lights were out. The breaker flipped. Changed outlets so this does not happen again. Did not seem to bother the plants, they keep streaching. Only bothered me it seems. Plants range in height from 16" to 22". The tall one grew 7" this week. Two are taller and lanky and the other two are just a bit shorter and bushy. Did not feed this week, only water. Probally a light feed of bloom and cal-max next week.

Week went good, starting to see baby buds forming, starting to feel like like this is legit, haha. Moved the plants into the flowering room with other strains under the cobs. Not really enought light however it is better than the other room. These plants are streaching and getting more room between the nodes. Seems to have better light penetration. They are getting thirsty and have to water every two days now. I think I will stay light on the nutrients. Thanks for looking, cheers.

Week went well. Plants are sitting on the edge of the lights, a little worried about that, however, they seem to be doing ok. Too many plants for the lights I have. Plants continued to streach and build buds. The tallest is 35", then one 30", another 28" and the last one is 24" tall. Everytime I look at them I am surprised, smile and say to myself I'm going to get bud. Haha. Did not do any real trimming, they did not look like they needed it. I just took off a few leaves sporadically around. Humidity was getting high, 61%, thought this was odd as it has been fine unitl now. Did not realise I need an exhaust fan to exchange air. I am looking for one now, I the mean time I will leave the door open. Lowered the temperature both during the day and night. That helped humidity, it dropped to 51%, a short term solution. I will watch it. This will be the last week I add nutrients, straight ph'd tap water from here on in. I figure there is still some in the soil and it will get used up towards the end. Not knowing what to expect, just goint to try the minimalist approach. I want a clean product, no chemicals or after taste. As always thank you for looking and happy growing. Cheers!

Hope everyone had a happy 420. Week seemed to go well. The plants streached a bit more, the biggest is 39", two are 35" and the last is 27" tall. Plant is really open and branchs out, not dense at all. Light gets all through. This is very different from the other strains I'm growing. This one veg'd for shorter time too. Took a few leaves off, not really that much. Repositioned the plants under the lights. These will harvest first so they went right under the lights. Buds are starting to grow out and seeing sugar leaves starting to frost up. Looking good. No nutrients any more, just ph'd tap water. I figure there is still some in the soil and more of minimalist. Four weeks of flower down and another two to three left. Happy days. Thanks for looking, Cheers

I was rotating the plants, a little ocd action and accidentally supper cropped a cola. Seems to be doing ok and not worried about it. My question is this ok to do deliberately in flower and increase yeild or should it be avoided after a certain amount of weeks into flower?

I tend to cut off the smaller ones at the bottom as she goes through the flower mode. the ones that don't get much light. Now I have accidentally cut the main colas. she was left with just a thread of skin, I used masking tape and wrapped it up. She survived and that one Colas ended up being the largest of the lot. lol Don't go crazy cutting off colas, you just might shock her and slow down production.😎

Pow, opened the door to the flower room and what a pleasant aroma I qas treated to. The Quick Critical smells great. Five weeks of flower completed and another one or two left. Buds are building nicely and putting on noticable size. The hairs are turning brown and the trics are getting cloudy. Leaves are turning yellow and figure that is from the plant consuming all the nutrients. I am getting the feeling, the moment I am waiting for is close. In my humble opinion and not based on any experience, I would think I have another week left before the first one or two plants are ready to be harvested. The other two do not have the same amount of brown hairs. After leaving the flower room I have the smell all over my hands and clothes, love the smell. Let me know what you think and if I have all that yellow leave thing wrong. Input and advice is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Leaves are fading, buds looking fat. Just plain water and occasional ice. I will never be a doctor, haha. Checking for tric color is a HASSLE. On the positive side I found some areas with lots of amber trics and others with only a few. The last week of Flower is official over I put the plants in darkness then time for chop. I have decided that after the chop I will hang the whole plant up to dry. Kinda funny, my second grow will harvest before my first. Thanks for looking. Cheers!

Week 14. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Seeds were great. All four seeds sprouted within a couple of days. Growing was easy, just added water and nutrients, was not a complex process. I PH'd the water about half the time. strain grew vibrantly and consistently. No real issues to speak of, just add water. I grew four plants and they all were very similar, all had nice height, one was a bit taller, two were the same and one just a bit shorter. All had the same structure. Plants took well to re-potting, topping and LST, never suffered from shock. Lots of buds, they were medium size and frosty. Liked the fact the flower was quick, this finished in 42 days of flower, amazing. Great to smoke, nice smooth taste, relaxing and great high. All in all a great grow and I would recommend this strain to others. I will grow it again. A 10 out of 10!! I will update later with a smoke report. Update Smoke Report: Cured for three weeks and tried it. High comes on first as a head high and moves to relaxation then a body stone. Great for sleeping. Tastes smooth with hints of citrus and high school, haha. A great evening smoke, just what I wanted.

Loved growing the Quick Critical, it was vibrant and not demanding. Took well to topping and did not suffer any transplant shock when potting up. Plants grew nicely and fairly open did not need to stretch them out. I originally bought the seeds as an impulse thinking they were auto flowers. I ended up having too many plants all flowering at the same time. The flower room was crammed and these were on the edge of the lights until the last three weeks. Looking at all the trics, this did not seem to make a difference. I did stop using the nutrients too early, four weeks before harvest. The leaves started yellowing a fews weeks before harvest. I think this limited the overall yield. Loved the quick flowering, finished in 42 days. Put the plants in darkness for 24 hours then chopped them. Hung the whole plant upside down in a dark room. Room was 70 degrees during the day and 64 at night with 51% humidity. Hung two for 7 days then wet trimmed, let them dry a but more then jarred them. Hung the other two for 14 days and some of the small snapped however tje rest just bent. The buds looked dry to me so I went ahead and trimmed then jarred them. I have to say I prefer dry trimming as it is not as messy. Got lots of great frosty medium sized buds dripping in tric's. Very happy with that. Got a bunch of scruff on the bottom that did not amount to much. Good to know as I will cut all that off on future grows. Going to make tincture or hash with all the trim. All through flower they gave off a strong lemony smell. Loved it and found myself always smelling my fingers for an hour later. Haha. I have to tell you I hardly every smoke and have a low tolerance. Tried a tester bud sitting in the backyard and was blasted. Sat on the couch so stoned and felt paralyzed, too funny. I slept good that night. All in all the grow went well and I'll tell you I really loved the smell of the buds. I would definitely recommend this and would grow again. I will store most of the jars for two weeks to a month for final cure. Some will be for preliminary testing and cure comparison, haha. I will follow up later with a proper smoke report.

@@hydrohippy, good to know thank you for the insight. I feel like a first time dad, haha. Your grows look great!, hope to get close to those results. Hydo has me intrigued, I was advised to stay away for the first time grow. Looks like it produces good results. I still remember back in the '70's, in Santa Cruz and seeing someone growing Hydro outside in a old claw foot tub. I was amazed by the size and results. They were big beautiful sensi buds. This was when most weed was from mexico and had seeds in it. Most "home grown" was garbage. Times have changed, certainly for the better. Of all the strains I have on the go right now (3) Quick Critical + is my current favorite.

Taking of those lower branches will help a lot my friend. As you said they get very little light and will not be very productive on the plant. You did the right thing now the remaining plant has more energy for the remaing branches 👌 They all look in great shape, nice dark green colour and zero signs of any deficiency or overfeeding 👊 Looking good from here mate 👌 All the best ✌️ Mark..
