I’m only using 'Monster Bud Mix' from Zamnesia for this grow. My light is set to the recommended height, and throughout the weeks, I’ll maintain conditions close to the optimal range according to the VPD table. I’m also adding CO2 tablets to support the grow.

This is my first indoor grow and my first time growing any plant. I’m also trying out LST (low-stress training) for the first time.

The plants are doing well, and I’ve started using LST clips from TheBendoe (https://thebendoe.de/products/thebendoe-set). They’re well-made and come in various sizes, which I find much better than the generic clips from China.

The smell is becoming stronger and more pleasant. The buds are getting bigger each week, and I believe they still have quite a bit of time left to develop.

First of all, I noticed the first orange pistils emerging on the Gorilla Auto. I hope she will produce more trichomes and make the buds swell further. The harvest of the Gorilla is coming closer. The original Gorilla Glue smell has appeared, while the Ghost Train Haze has a slightly gassy aroma with hints of citrus. Like lemon dish soap. I’ve noticed a PK deficiency and i am trying to fix it by adding more 'Monster Bud Mix.' To speed up nutrient uptake, I dissolve it in water before applying. The trichome production on the left GTH and the Gorilla seem quite low while the GTH on the right has "snow" on it's leaves.

Another week has passed, and the buds are swelling with more and more trichomes developing. The smell is amazing, just like last week. I’ve noticed a slight nutrient burn, but it’s nothing to worry about. For the Gorilla Auto, I plan to wait until about 10% of the trichomes turn amber before harvesting. I’ll do a partial harvest, starting with the upper buds, and leave the lower ones to develop further - but the harvest isn’t coming too soon.

Overall, the smell has intensified. Gorilla Auto: Her buds are getting bigger, and more trichomes are appearing. Some of the trichomes on the flowers have turned milky, while a few on the leaves are amber. I expect she’ll be ready in one to two weeks. Ghost Train Haze (left): She’s growing bigger and producing plenty of trichomes. She’s closer to being ready than the other Ghost Train Haze, but I can’t estimate how long she’ll take. Ghost Train Haze (right): Her leaves are frosty, and her buds are swelling. However, the harvest is still several weeks away.

The smell inside is quite strong and is coming through the filtered exhaust. Is this normal, or does it mean I need to replace my filter soon?

if it didn't smell before, it's probably not due to an incorrect activated charcoal filter. have you checked the seals? i've read before that too much humidity affects the filter. but it could also simply be because the smell is too intense, so that the filter doesn't work properly. the very last possibility would of course be that the ability decreases due to age

I’m a bit disappointed that these plants are taking so long to finish, but as you can see, they’re looking pretty good. The trichomes on the Gorilla Auto are turning milky, but I’ll wait until they feel perfect for me before harvesting. The Ghost Train Haze will get more close-up attention as they get closer to harvest.

I removed all the fan leaves since they were blocking light - should have done that earlier. The Gorilla Auto is still ripening and needs more time. I added extra support for the branches to handle the weight. The Ghost Train Haze Auto on the left has heavy buds, and the main bud is about the size of a Pringles can.

They're developing more milky trichomes and continuing to ripen, but no amber trichomes have appeared yet. I’ll give them a maximum of two more weeks before I have to chop them all down. For reference, the width of the Ghost Train Haze on the right is about two fingers, while the one on the left is larger than my arm. The Gorilla Auto is somewhere in between. One of these plant stakes is 100 cm (about 39 inches) tall, with 85 cm (about 33 inches) above the ground. They’re looking really tasty!

I partially harvested the three largest colas of the Gorilla Auto due to inconsistent trichome ripeness. The tops had about 30% amber trichomes. The wet weight of the three harvested colas is 100g. The large cola of the Ghost Train Haze has around 2% amber trichomes at the very top. I’ll keep the report in the flowering stage for now and switch it to harvest once the entire grow is finished.

I’m still waiting for the curing to finish; the buds are still a bit moist. I expect the Gorilla Glue to yield close to 30g dry, while the Ghost Train Haze on the left will likely reach around 40g dry, and the one on the right will probably end up with about 20g dry. I took a lot of trichome pictures, but I can’t remember which buds they came from. The top buds of the Gorilla Glue were harvested with around 30% amber trichomes, which resulted in a more body-focused high, while the lower buds produce a more balanced effect. The Gorilla Glue had noticeably fewer trichomes than the other plants. In my case, where the trichomes never really turned fully milky, harvesting two weeks earlier might have worked better. The buds only have a slight Gorilla Glue aroma and flavor, but I’ll wait until curing is complete before making a final judgment. Both Ghost Train Haze plants developed more trichomes, which were milkier compared to the Gorilla Glue. I harvested both with about 10% amber trichomes. Right now, they smell like classic haze with a hint of citrus, but I'll wait until curing is finished for a proper evaluation. I'll take final pictures and write a review in two weeks, then I’ll finish the diary. The smoke test suggests that some of those buds lack a bit of potency. I hope the final test after the curing process shows better results. So far, I’d give the effects a 7/10. All the plants seemed to struggle with developing really potent trichomes, but the results are still okay.
