01/21/25. Welcome to the beginning of week 3.
The little ladies were transplanted a few days ago into 1 gallon nursery pots. I updated last weeks entry with after pictures and exact date.
They are doing well considering the low temperatures. Mid- high sixties most of the time currently. It’s so cold outside that it’s hard to keep the house itself much warmer than 70. Ugh. Sitting at 0 F or -17 C currently.
Both girls are looking well and have grown about half an inch since transplant.
#1 cotyledons have turned yellow, and she looks a bit pale, but she has since sprout.
#2 is darker green in all aspects.
They were both watered yesterday with halved seedling nutrients recommended, so again, 0.6 across the three parts.
The polar vortex, or whatever they’re calling it, that’s been pestering us here, is supposedly letting up for a bit tomorrow. Temperatures should be better after then.
Light is at 18 inches and about 90%.
Thanks for lookin. ✌️
