BazingaGirl After buying some really bad cannabis I have decided to take matters into my own hands and start my little garden in the basement. I use it for pain control and am finally off all my pain medication. After some research I went out and ordered a 3x3 tent, 6 inch carbon filter, 600w LED, humidifier, heater, fans, heat mat a dehumidifier and nutrients. It took about 4 days to get the room up and running. I am looking forward to getting some advice and learning how to grow some great cannabis. I ordered seeds from Nirvana. Chrystal and Northern Lights. Only 3 Christal popped and none of the Northern Lights popped, so I ordered 5 more. They gave me a $15 credit to order new seeds. For now I will concentrate on the 2 good Chrystal plants. Chrystal Description Winner of the 2002 Dutch Highlife Cup, Chrystal is a White Widow and Northern Lights hybrid whose icy dense nugs produce a strong kerosene aroma and a gorgeous indica high. I did make my own soil. Organic Soil, Pearlite, Vermiculite, dolomite, mushroon compost.

BazingaGirl This week I fed my girls three times and watered them twice. I have a humidifier on all the time along with a circulating heater outside the tent. They are sitting on the heat mat, and I have a circulating fan above the canape. They are downstairs, and winter is upon us. Got to keep their toes warm. Day 11 I tried some LST on both of them. Moved the lights down to 24" The temperature has been from 70-78 degrees and 59-68 percent humidity

BazingaGirl An exciting week indeed. My husband started his indoor garden in the tent and I was seeing gnat's, so I got another tent. That may be kind of over protective but after reading so many articles on how bad gnat's are, I didn't want to take a chance. I got another 3x3 x5 tent, a stronger 900w. LED, fans and knat traps to get the new tent ready. I have a few other plants in there, so I needed the room to grow. I transplanted them both at 14 days. Chrystal 1 went into a 5 gal. cloth pot, Chrystal 2 went into a 3 gal. plastic pot. I watered them with Recharge. Hung the light at 35" until the plants get used to more power. 😎 I am a new grower and would appreciate any feedback I can get. I value your advice and hope to make my first crop a good one. Update 16 days old and 4" tall. They were on their 5th node, so I pinched the top off Chris 1 and cut top off Chris 2. they still felt slightly damp, so I didn't give them anything. Tomorrow I will feed them and use House & Garden Treatement Amino Fertilizer instead of recharge with my nutrients.😊 Update 19 days old and 4.5" tall. Yay they didn't go into shock! I was afraid after ripping the poor little babies heads off.😳I also moved the lights down to 28". I am really keeping a close eye on them. I read that 900w. LED can burn the leaves. My dog Max decided to watch over the crops but the poor guy has cataracts. Update 21 days. Still only 4.5 inches. 😕 Should they be taller? Moved the light down to 21"

I am a new grower trying to grow Chrystal by Nirvana. I have Phlizon 900w. LED Veg. lights going in a 3x3x5 tent and 6 plants. Temp is 78 degrees and humidity is 55% , ph with and without Nutrients is 6.2. Over the last few weeks I have brought the light down from 36" to 21" above the canape. I topped at the 5th. node and my plants are going into week 4 with no shock. They are only 4.5 inches tall in a 5 gal. cloth pot. and 3.5 gal. plastic pot. Do they need more light? Any suggestions? Is it OK? Thanks so much for all your help😗

As far as I’m concerned, everything is pretty much exactly where you want it. Don’t believe there’s any issues and she’s growing the way she should be. Expect that you won’t see as much advanced growth after topping - the plant will need a few days to a week to recover👍

BazingaGirl Week 4. I have been doing LST on both girls every day and they seem to be getting bushy. Not sure what to do next. I did see one tiny leaf tip turn brown so all I have been giving them is Recharge with water at 6.2 ph. for the next water. 😁 Update …..Day 27 they got a feeding of 3 tsp. Big Bloom, 1.5 tsp. Grow Big. 3 ml. Cal mag. And 1 ml Amino treatment per gal. Each got about a half a gal. till run off. They are very bushy and nodes and on top of each other. Help…not sure if I should just let them grow and see what happens, or start bending them over. They are still so small. Only 4.5 inches 😏

BazingaGirl Week 5. Day 30...Both plants are very bushy and their internodes are very close together. I have been tucking the leafs under to try and get more light in. I raised my light back up to 30” and started to drop my temperature down from 78-80 during the day to 70-71 at night to try and stretch them out a bit. They are still just 5” tall and the leaves are so tight that some are deforming. Chrystal 2 was so bushy the leaves are not getting any light below so I tied her top up for the day so the lower leaves have some light. 😃 Update.....Day 34 After some positive encouragement from The Bud Whisperer I thought I would do an experiment. I bent Chrystal 2 over and took off some leaves that were blocking the light. Now she is 4” tall. Chrystal 1, I top and defoliated all the inner leaves so the center can get some light. 😎 Thanks to all of you for your kind support 👏👍
