Week one for these ladies was hectic but they are taking off. The seedling are all juicy jack but one. It's an unknown bag seed that I've been saving for about 5 years. I plan to scrog them in my 3x3 DIY budget build. I'm using G.E. leds bulbs from home depot: For veg I'm using (3) 3way 2200 lumen 20 watt day light, (1) 2700k 20 watt 2300 lumen Softwhite led, two cheap led grow bulbs 9 watt from Wal-Mart and (1) 300 watt incadecent Softwhite bulb that I put in for heat. For flower I'm ADDING (12) more of the 20 watt leds and losing the incandescent. This is my second attemt at juicy jack first run was my first grow and ended bad. Learned a lot and am trying again with more plants 😆. Wish me luck

These lights are bright and dont make much heat. Is it going to be enough to fill my tent? I want to scrog them.

So you have 16 x 20w bulbs so 320w of total power. 45w of led is recommended for 1 square foot so for 9 square feet you need 9 × 45 = 405w so you are not so far and I'v seen nice harvest with less than that. However to maximise you led light distribution I recommend you to take a look at @Athos diaries as he his also using led bulb with a method he call screw in led : you just need to remove the opaque part of the bulb ( I think it is the bulb it self) to only keep the light but check his diaries it's better explained than I can do 😊

Another hectic week due to rollercoaster humidity and temp issues that took a few days to work out. Had to replace my humidifier with a coolmist humidifier and lose the exhaust fan for now. I added a heater that keeps the tent above 70 but no hotter than 83. The combo has my tent stable and the ladies rewarded me. I learned about vapor pressure and humidity and got some good advice and help on the gram. Aquired two Golden State 🍌 reveg from a friend that dont like my tent too well but they are adapting. Learned a lot this week and looking forward to next week.

Week 3 went so much smoother. They seem to love life and are growing fast now. They all have side branching (a few on all nodes) and they all have decent stalks. The bag seed is growing funky but strong. It skipped a node it seems because it went from 3 points to 7 ?? I'm new at this so that seems weird. The revegs are doing something im not sure what it is yet but I hope they snap out of it soon. The oldest of my juicy jack was limp and showing nitrogen def and I saw the same in one of my seedlings so I fed them all at 1/4 strength to see how they like it and they seemed to love it. I also dialed the temp up a little and they seem to love it also. I am thinking of some topping and repotting into 3 gals next friday so hopefully they stay on pace.

Gor some decent growth at the begining of the week and then things just slowed down. Repotted them into 3 gals this week they will flower in those. Roots all look good except for my unknown bag seed, its still trying somaybe the new pot will help. Lost the top two nodes on one of my ladies due to her being to close to heater. I topped her and she bounced right back. Starting to show nitrogen deficiency again so I think ill step up the grow big next feeding. They got a dose of cal-mag and some comeback formula (both from fox farm) just in case. Hope to top this week and maybe flip in twor three. Well see.

Had a good week with some good growth. They started off a little slow due to transplant mistakes but once I figured it out and fixed it they took off. I think the unknown bag seed might be a male check the pics. I wanted to top them but most they seem to want to stay short. I'll top in a day or two. They are drinking plenty between feedings and they seem to love the grow big. I'll step it up today when I feed and see how they like it. Dont have many pics yet had to move my grow and havnt had time to take proper pics but these are not bad.

This week I upgraded my lights to HLG's 260 Quantam board. That I got from Potamac Hydroponics. I set it 34 inches above the canopy and have it set about 1/4 strength for now. They will stay on 24 hr lights till I flower. I tried training my plants and see good results despite snapping two branches. I snipped a few fan leaves to open them up to more light. The re-vegs will get trained this week also. I also started using foxfarm microb brew and they are getting full dose of nitrogen and loving it. All but the one I think is a boy have been topped at the beginning of week. They all are responding well. Lookiny forward to some more topping this week.

This week was another week of steady growth. I decided to put a bladder in under the potts so I raised the floor with 4x4 blocks and mesh sheet from home depot. Now I can flush without having to move them and I can easily drain the bladder. I also got two 4 inch USB fans from Wall Mart and some filters for my exhaust and intake. The fans help move the heat and humidity. The plants love me! I tried my hand at training using the bend and secure method and topping on one plant it has a bunch of tops and the bottom branches are on their way to the top only one left on her. I like the results. I put a net in and am now waiting to them to. reach it. The one I suspected as a boy looks like a girl now still watching it. Looking forward to flowering them soon.
