Slighty more sensitive seedlings than usual, they doesn't seem to like much too high humidity early on.
- one seedling not sprouted after transplant (joint between root and cotyledons broke with humidity) and had to replace with some back up seedling
- one seedling sprouted with wound over cotyledons and first leaves stages, at this point not sure if it gonna recover or not
( last back up seedling is also a little wounded and appeared to have a weaker tiny root and slow growth as for now, all in all it may happen i replace one blackberry with one northern light clone within the two next week )

DIY C0² (zamnesia recipe) last 5-7 weeks of flowering.
http://www.zamnesia.com/blog-how-to-make-a-diy-co2-generator-for-the-grow-room-n496
Watering volume per plant: 0.5l every 2/3 days
One seedling is recovering after 8 days from some sort of fungi/mold/bacteria attack before getting out of soil.
Look like it skipped the 2nd stage and directly grow the 3rd and 4th.
Watering volume per plant: 0.5l every 2 days
Wounded plant response to stress is phyllotaxy with 5 leaves per stages.
Gonna flip those ladies to flowering next week and cross-fingers with growth differences and stretch.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 3/5 days
As for now growth difference remain in an acceptable range & pre-flowers start to show.
Another plant showed the phyllotaxy traits with 3 leaves per stages & two other seem also prone to some mutations (main-lining by themselves without topping).
Trimmed some lower branch as well as some of the bigger mutations to keep vertical growth homogeneous.
Later this week "phyllotaxy x5" plant self main-lined in two trunk: a "phyllotaxy x3" and a smaller "phyllotaxy x4".
I removed the "phyllotaxy x4" secondary trunk and kept the "phyllotaxy x3" as main trunk.
All in all, after some serious lower stage trimming all the plant now look pretty homogeneous in size and growth rate, so the recovery is a success if it continue this way.
Watering volume per plant: 1l to 0,75l every 2/3 days or so
Now i can really say first weeks recovery went pretty well for the wounded seedling.
They start to stretch vigorously this week .
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2/3 days.
Started flowering nutrients this week.
They're not stretching that much since flip, may be they could use 4 week of veg instead of 3.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 days
Those ladies are incredibly short they just don't stretch and prolly could have use 4 and even 5 week of veg. Well, post-ited for next time i'll grow this strain.
Trunk smell's is sort of incredibly fruity and strong when touching it, never had something similar with my previous grows, can't wait to see how this evolve.
Started using the DIY CO² this week.
(see 1st week for details)
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 / 2,5 days
It start to smell noticeably this week.
Well, stretch seem to be done 😐and i'm a bit surprised, shortest strain i've ever grown.
Would have been better with one less stage removal and/or 1 or 2 more weeks of vegetation.
Post-ited for next time with such short strains.
On a side note, the sole slighty different & taller pheno is the one that had stress early on.
(back right corner, especially noticeable on the side view)
Also learn from Nirvana official that they stopped this strain, so it's sort of luck i'm gonna do my own F2 cross, as this shortness eventually interest me for sogging 4 plants in my LST box.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 / 2,5 day.
Smell is sweet and fruity and slighty stronger this week.
Ordered some Mammoth P in an other country as it's hard to find here.
This is really a product i wanted to try.
This time starting using it half the way, gonna be better with the White Widow, Critical and next grow to come.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 days
Prolly not gonna harvest much from those ladies, it's a bit sad because i could have done better giving them more veg, or trimming less lower stage.
But their stretch surprised me, never had such a short strain, and trimming like i did is oki for all others strains i have grown so far.
Learn new things, make new observation with different strain and different growing technique and improve. Kinda cool overall.
The smell is incredibly sweet and fruity really love it.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 days
Even if they are small they drink a fair amount of water in comparison to some of my previous grow..
Smell start to get strong in the tent's room, awesome very fruity and sweet.
Colas are getting fat and large day after day wich is fairly encouraging regarding the yield to come.
Planning to start flushing next week, so that's gonna be 10 weeks of flowering (she's supposed to be 9- 11).
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 / 2,5 days
Starting flushing this week with top-max and mammoth p, then full water next week.
The smell is awesome and they are pretty fat even if they are short without that much secondary colas.
Last week with PHed water. (they drinked much less this week, half than usual)
The smell, is really sweet and fruity, between normal and strong i would say.
Kinda happy with this session, even if i could prolly have done better with trimming and flowering flip.
This is the shortest strain i have ever grown and it surprised me, trimmed like i usually do for others strains, but do not really fit with this one.
Anyway, kinda happy because even if pretty small plants, buds are super dense and compact, i was expecting to fill a jar and half minimum, and i think that's gonna be oki, even some more. Better than expected a few weeks ago anyway.
(also, i do believe mammoth P half the way really helped, great product)
Manucure was pretty fast, #6 has a lot of leaves manucuring it kinda feel like your hair cutting some lettuce.
Nice amount of trim material for bubble hash.
So well prolly not gonna be my biggest harvest ever, but it's the first time i get that big, dense, compact buds and flowers.
(can't wait for the critical in the other tent to finish a whole flowering cycle with Mammoth P ^^)
Even if short they were super bushy, and light penetration quickly decrease, many lower buds are whitish, especially 2 pheno were like lettuce like #6.
Prolly had a few root rot along flowering as a few leaves sign here and there seem to hint, anyway strain seem soil relative humidity sensitive since seedling.
ps: nirvana no longer sell this strain since half mine flowering or so
Awesome taste and high.
Very homogenous strain.
Strain is soil relative humidity sensitive, (both seedling and later roots)
2-3 out of 7 phenotypes had a noticeably higher leaves to flowers ratio.
Leaves density is pretty high for all phenotype so many lower bud were whitish, (slighty smoother and sweeter taste)
ps: nirvana no longer sell this strain since half mine flowering or so.
@ROM101, hum, that's what it look like this morning:
cotyledons are wounded, partially ate by some sort of fungi/mold that's now dried
first stage is heavily wounded : misshapen / small growth
2nd stage seem born dead / non existent
3rd and 4th leaves stages seem to grow at the same time
it's still to small to take a photo, but it appear to start recover after 8 days
@ROM101, yup that's the plan ^^
the back up seedling is slow growth for now (visibly weak young roots on transplant)
and the wounded one ( some sort of fungi parasite on start up) seem to directly split in two after first stage (still a bit unclear what happen yet, it's still so tiny not really with any clear shape or coloration, i mean there's no second leaf's stage clearly showing yet)
i'll try to do a macro shot with my cam, when thing show clearly enough with the heavily wounded one (but so far it's way too tiny, even for a close up shot with my cam)
@ROM101, thks, sensitive seedlings:
8/9 sprouted and 2/8 are unhealthy with wounded first stages and/or slow growth
after 7 days, not sure yet if the last two gonna recover quickly enough to fill the 7th slot or if i ll have to replace one blackberry with one northern light clone
@ROM101, prolly a strain wich seedlings doesn't like much too high humidity
- one seedling broke because young root was more looking like weak translucid blob full of water than classic resistant white root (replaced that one with the first healthy back up seedling)
- second back up seedling young root's looked a bit red/browny and really small like between mold and growth once out of cotton (that's currently the one with slow growth in the plastic glass)
- and finally the one were it seem some sort of fungi ate part of the cotyledons and young main stem and leaves before it get out of soil.
6 other seedlings are fine, but well it remain 9/9 germinated, 8/9 sprouted, 6/8 healthy
@Excalibur, thks, tight, true that's all about SOG & having as many main long colas as possible ^^
😂 ah, yup the fan totally that, cheap drugstore fan, but does it job well strenghtening young plant and dissipate lamp hot spot later in flowering 😉
