NYC DIESEL - SOMA SEEDS

cheech87 So, this week I watered them with Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, and Piranha from Advanced Nutrients. I really like the Amnesia from Soma Seeds, so I'm testing this one too 🤗🤤!

cheech87 Well, what can I say? For a strain that's supposedly predominantly Sativa, this phenotype has quite broad leaves and has stayed pretty small so far. Let's see what else comes of it!

cheech87 It looks pretty strange, considering it’s supposed to have mostly Sativa genetics. I'm curious to see how it turns out. It's already very compact, and the leaves are quite broad. Let's see how it develops. I repotted it into a 5-liter pot and put it in the flowering tent.

cheech87 There's nothing special to report here. The plant still has plenty of everything, and I'm waiting for the start of flowering, which will take a little while longer. It's not sexually mature yet, but maybe it will be by next week. We'll see.

cheech87 The smell already reminds me of something like Sour Diesel, that nice sour, gas-like note. That reassures me because this is definitely going to be a really awesome plant! So far, it's super easy to grow, causes no problems, and is gaining nicely every week. The trichomes are already clearly visible, which is definitely a good sign.

cheech87 So far, everything is going well. If you're looking for a strain that smells like Sour Diesel, you're in the right place. At first, I was a bit surprised by the broad leaf structure, but the smell is intense and unmistakably Sour Diesel—a strong dominant, gassy gasoline scent, combined with a biting acidity and a slight hint of lemon. The sourness and the gasoline aroma are clearly in the foreground. For me, the smell is heading in a very promising direction. I'll see the rest over time.

cheech87 I really like it because the smell embodies exactly what you expect from a NYC Diesel. It's definitely worth investing more time, especially during the growth phase. Since I always grow under 12/12, it has stayed a bit smaller. I was also surprised by the wide leaves, especially for a mostly Sativa strain. But the smell is just perfect, a sour, gassy scent with a hint of lemon. I'm super excited for the moment when it's finally time!

cheech87 I find them very beautiful here and also very easy to grow. The leaves show stunning colors, and I'm sure the end result will be great weed. I'm already looking forward to the high when it's done. Definitely going to grow it again!
