For this new run I've chosen for Zamnesia again. I'm going to grow Biscotti and Watermelon Candy. 20-12-24 I've put 3 seeds of each strain in soil pre-watered with ph adjusted tapwater + Canna Rhizotonic (ec 0.6 – ph 6.2) The pots are on a heating mat, connected to a thermostate set to 27°C/80.6°F 22-12-24 I've put them in the growtent, lights at 50 cm/19.7 inch with 60 watt power. Still no movement above soil but that changed quickly. On the next day, by evening, 5 out of 6 seeds germinated and showed above soil. Next morning the last seed was also present. So it took about 3 days to let them germinate at temperatures around 25°C/77°F 24-12-24 is the first day of the growing cycle that will take 5 – 6 weeks. The first week went well. I've spotted some larves of fungus gnats so I gave them a layer of sand. Some stretched a bit, but by day 4 this stopped. I didn't gave them a a lot of water in this first week. Day 3 I gave them each 40 ml tapwater with a small amount of CannaStart and Rhizotonic (1.5 ml to 500 ml tapwater → ec 1.13 – ph 6.3 Day 4 I gave them each 25 ml of the same solution as on day 3. Day 5 and 6 I gave them nothing and on day 7 I gave them each 65 ml ph adjusted tapwater → ec 0.62 – ph 6.2 There's a tower fan blowing a breeze along the seedlings and a humidifier to keep humidity levels a bit higher. The cob lights are hanging at a distance of 50 cm with 60 watt power. This gave a DLI of 18.3/PPFD 282. Temperatures stayed between 21 – 27.2 °C (69.8 – 81 °F) and humidity levels between 27 – 82 % Do you want to grow these strains? 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/9484-zamnesia-seeds-biscotti.html 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/7485-zamnesia-seeds-watermelon-candy.html

The seedlings are going great. I've already chosen the best 4 out of 6 to keep, 2 of each strain. Next week I'll repot these survivors in 14 litres airpots. The first two days of this week were dry. On day 3 I gave them each 65 ml tapwater with Plagron nutrients. I added 0.3 ml Power Roots, 0.3 ml Pure Zym, 0.3 ml Sugar Royal and 0.5 ml Terra Grow to 500 ml tapwater → ec 0.92 – ph 6.2 – 19.3°C/66.7°F Days 4 and 5 were also dry and on day 6 I gave them each 85 ml tapwater with plagron nutrients. I added 2 ml Fish Force and 0.15 ml CalMag to 500 ml tapwater → ec 1.33 – ph 6.2 – 20.6°C/69°F The last day of this week was dry. The power of the cobs was raised to 68 watt at a distance of 49 cm/19.3 inch from the seedlings. This gave a DLI of 22.2/PPFD 343 The airfan is still in off posistion but after the repotting I'll switch it on. The humidifier keeps the climate under control and a little tower fan made the little ones dance during light hours. Temperatures stayed between 19.6 – 25.4 °C/67.3 – 77.7°F and humidity levels between 32 – 87% Cu next week! ✌️ Do you want to grow these strains? 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/9484-zamnesia-seeds-biscotti.html 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/7485-zamnesia-seeds-watermelon-candy.html

The third week started with repotting the 4 plants in 14 litres airpots. The pots are standing on a large heating mat that's connected to a thermostate. I've placed the sensor of this thermostate in one of the pots and it's set to 22°C/71.6°F I removed the shoots of node 1 & 2 and topped between node 4 & 5. This weeks menu: Day 1 → Day of repotting (1000ml/0.26 each) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Each 350 ml/0.09 gallon ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.65 – ph 6.3 – 19.8°C/67.6°F) Day 4 → Each 500 ml/0.13 gallon ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.50 – ph 6.3 – 20.8°C/69.4°F) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 450ml/0.11 gallon ph adjusted tapwater + Power Roots & Pure Zym, 2 ml of each/2 litres (ec 0.57 – 6.1 – 20.1°C/65.2°F) Day 7 → Dry They also received their first shower with CannaCure. I've added 15 ml CannaCure to 80 ml tapwater (ph 6.2) and sprayed this solution 5 minutes before the lights went out. De second cob has also entered the tent. Both cobs are hanging at a distance of 46 cm/18.11 inch from the plants with a power of 124 watt. This resulted in a DLI of 25.4/PPFD 392 The airfan is set to 35%. The humididfier is connected to a timer so during the light hours, every half hour it's turned on. Temperatures stayed between 19.0 – 24.7°C (66.2 – 76.5°F) and humidity levels between 29 – 78% Cu next week! ✌️ Do you want to grow these strains? 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/9484-zamnesia-seeds-biscotti.html 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/7485-zamnesia-seeds-watermelon-candy.html

The plants are happy to be in larger pots and show this. The fan leaves have grown well and have already reached the edge of the pot by day 2 of this week. On day 5, I topped them again so that each plant will have 8 main shoots. The fungus gnats are back as well, as several are already stuck to the sticky traps. Hopefully, this won't turn into an outbreak with the nematodes. Their menu for this week: Day 1 → Each 450 ml (0.12 gallon) of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.50 – pH 6.3 – 19.3°C/66.7°F) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Feeding day. In 2 liters(0.53 gallon) of tap water, 2 ml of Power Roots, 2 ml of Pure Zym, 2 ml of Sugar Royal, and 5 ml of Terra Grow were added (EC 1.38 – pH 6.3 – 21.6°C/70.9°F). I gave them each 500 ml (0.13 gallon) Day 4 → Dry Day 5 → Each 700 ml (0.18 gallon) of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.51 – pH 6.2 – 21.2°C/70.2°F) Day 6 → Dry Day 7 → Feeding day. In 2.8 liters (0.74 gallon) of tap water, 15 ml of Fish Force and 0.5 ml of CalMag were added (EC 1.44 – pH 6.2 – 21.6°C/70.9°F). I gave them each 500 ml (0.13 gallon) This week, they also got a shower with CannaCure. To make the spray, I added 25 ml of CannaCure to 100 ml of tap water (EC 0.62 – pH 6.2 – 21°C/69.8°F), and this was misted over the plants on day 4 of this week, just before the lights went out. It became slightly sunnier by raising the power of the COBs to 136 watts at 45 cm/17.7 inch. This resulted in a DLI of 30.5/PPFD 471. The exhaust is still set at around 35%, and the humidifier still turns on every half hour. The tower fan is also blowing a breeze on setting 1. Next week i'm going to install the scrOG screen. Temperatures remained between 19.4 – 24.7 °C/66.9 – 76.5 °F and the humidity between 35 – 76 % C u next week!✌️ Do you want to grow these strains? 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/9484-zamnesia-seeds-biscotti.html 👉https://www.zamnesia.com/7485-zamnesia-seeds-watermelon-candy.html

The week started with setting up the scrOG net. It's still the custom-cut garden fence that is clipped to the poles of the tent with small clamps. It's easy to adjust the height and quick to set up. They are still on an 18/6 light schedule and are doing fine. Biscotti#3 is clearly the biggest plant, and the fan leaves of this plant showed a few lighter spots on day 3. I think they might have been too dry, so I switched to daily watering instead of every two days. All four of them were asking for it. It could also be a nitrogen deficiency, maybe because this one is growing so strong. On day 5, I removed a (fan) leaf here and there to give the shoots underneath more light. The fungus gnats seem to be keeping a low profile. Most likely, the nematodes in each pot are causing some damage. Their menu for this week: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Rest of day 7 from last week (800 ml/0.21 gallon with Fish Force and CalMag) + 1200 ml/0.32 gallon tap water (EC 0.89 – pH 6.4 – 21.2°C/70.2°F). I gave each of them 500 ml/0.13 gallon. Day 3 → Each received 600 ml/0.16 gallon pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.52 – pH 6.4 – 20.2°C/68.4°F). Day 4 → Feeding day. In 2.8 liters/0.74 gallon of tap water, 2.8 ml Power Roots, 2.8 ml Pure Zym, 2.8 ml Sugar Royal and 8 ml Terra Grow were added (EC 1.48 – pH 6.4 – 19.8°C/67.6°F). I gave each of them 700 ml/0.18 gallon. Day 5 → Each received 500 ml/0.13 gallon pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.52 – pH 6.4 – 20.5°C/68.9°F). Day 6 → Each received 400 ml/0.11 gallon pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.52 – pH 6.4 – 19.8°C/67.6). Day 7 → Feeding day. In 2.8 liters/0.74 gallon of tap water, 18 ml Fish Force and 1 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.50 – pH 6.2 – 19.2°C/66.5°F). I gave each of them 600 ml/0.16 gallon The shower with CannaCure this week consisted of 150 ml tap water + 35 ml CannaCure (EC 0.58 – pH 6.3 – 20°C/68°F). They received this 5 minutes before the lights went out on the fourth day of this week. The wattage of the COBs was increased to 160 watts, at a distance of 42 cm/16.5 inch from the plants. This provided a DLI of 37/PPFD of 571. The exhaust fan is now set to 50% and I've placed a second tower fan in the tent. Temperatures stayed between 19 – 24.5°C/66.2 – 76.1°F and the humidity between 40 – 80 %. The growth phase has already been over for a week now. In total, I let them grow for 38 days on a 18/6 light schedule. The sixth week of growth lasted only 3 days. By then, I felt it was enough. So, since January 31, 2025, the four plants have been on a 12/12 light cycle. After a week on this light schedule, the screen is already filling up well. I topped one shoot on each plant on the left and right, because they were getting too tall otherwise. At the end of week 1 on 12/12, I noticed pre-flowers here and there. Here’s what I gave them during the last three days of their growth phase: Day 1 → 500 ml/0.13 gallon left over from day 7 last week + 2100 ml/0.55 gallon tap water (EC 0.91 – pH 6.4 – 19.3°C/66.7°F). I gave each plant 600 ml/0.16 gallon of this. Day 2 → 800 ml/0.21 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.61 – pH 6.4 – 20.1°C/68.1°F) per plant. Day 3 → Feeding day. I added 3 ml of Power Roots, 3 ml of Pure Zym, 3 ml of Sugar Royal and 12 ml of Terra Grow to 3200 ml/0.54 gallon tap water (EC 1.73 – pH 6.1 – 20.3°C/68.5°F). I gave each plant 800 ml/0.21 gallon of this mixture. This was their menu for the first week on 12/12: Day 1 → 700 ml/0.18 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.51 – pH 6.3 – 19.9°C/67.8°F) per plant. Day 2 → Feeding day. To 4000 ml/1.06 gallon tap water, 25 ml Fish Force and 1.6 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.32 – pH 6.2 – 19.3°C/66.7°F). I gave each plant 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of this. Day 3 → 800 ml/0.21 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.63 – pH 6.4 – 19.4°C/66.9°F) per plant. Day 4 → Feeding day. To 4000 ml/1.06 gallon tap water, 4 ml Power Roots, 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 3 ml Power Buds, 9 ml Terra Grow, and 4 ml Terra Bloom were added (EC 1.53 – pH 6.3 – 20.3°C/68.5°F ). I gave each plant 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of this. Day 5 → 800 ml/0.21 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.65 – pH 6.4 – 19.4°C/66.9°F) per plant. Day 6 → 1000 ml/0.26 of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.64 – pH 6.3 – 19.9°C/67.8°F) per plant. Day 7 → Feeding day. Same as Day 4 but with 6 ml Terra Bloom, and I gave each plant 600 ml/0.16 gallon (EC 1.63 – pH 6.4 – 20.5°C/68.9°F). On Day 4, they received a shower with CannaCure. This consisted of 200 ml/0.05 gallon tap water + 50 ml CannaCure, and it was sprayed over the plants 20 minutes before the lights turned on. The COBs stayed at 42 cm/16.5 inch and the wattage was increased to 180 watts. This resulted in a DLI of 26.5/PPFD 613. A leaf or two was removed here and there. The humidifier is now set to run every hour for 20 minutes during light hours. I’ll stop using it in about a week. On Day 5, the carbon filter was installed and the exhaust is set to about 60%. Temperatures stayed between 18.7 – 23.6 °C/65.7 – 74.5°F and humidity between 39 – 70 %. The four plants have now been at 12/12 for 2 weeks, and each plant has shown signs of flowering. The four young ladies are filling the screen well, so from now on, I will keep 4 plants instead of 3. Some shoots have been topped here and there, and now and then a leaf disappeared. This is what I gave them this week: Day 1 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH adjusted tap water (EC 0.52 – pH 6.4 – 21°C/69.8°F) Day 2 → The remaining water from day 7 of the previous week was topped up with tap water + 2 ml CalMag/4000 ml (EC 1.32 – pH 6.2 – 21.6°C/70.9°F). I gave each 1000 ml/0.26 gallon Day 3 → Each received 800 ml/0.21 gallon of pH adjusted tap water (EC 0.51 – pH 6.4 – 20.8°C/69.4°F). Day 4 → Feeding day. To 4000 ml/1.05 gallon of tap water, I added 3 ml Power Roots, 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 3 ml Power Buds, 9 ml Terra Grow, and 6 ml Terra Bloom (EC 1.64 – pH 6.3 – 20.3°C/68.5°F). Each received 900 ml/0.24 gallon Day 5 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH adjusted tap water (EC 0.51 – pH 6.4 – 20.4°C/68.7°F). Day 6 → Each received 900 ml/0.24 gallon of pH adjusted tap water (EC 0.50 – pH 6.3 – 21°C/69.8°F). Day 7 → Feeding day. Same as day 4 (EC 1.64 – pH 6.4 – 19.3°C/66.7°F). Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon This was the last day Power Roots was used. On day 4 this week, I gave them their last spray with CannaCure. This consisted of 200 ml tap water + 50 ml CannaCure (EC 0.57 – pH 6.2 – 21°C/69.8°F) and was misted half an hour before the lights turned on. The COBs were set to 200 watts at a distance of 44 cm/17.3 inch This resulted in a DLI of 28.3 / PPFD 655. The humidifier was used again this week. It still runs for 20 minutes every light hour. I think I’ll keep it for another week because as long as there are no buds yet and the plants are still growing, the humidity can remain a bit higher. The exhaust fan controller is still set to 60%, and the tower fans are running on setting 2. Temperatures fluctuated between 19.0 – 23.5°C/66.2 – 74.3 and humidity remained between 44 – 68 %. This week, the quartet has grown well. There's a clear difference between giving too little and enough water, which was my mistake in previous grows. Now they're growing like crazy. On day 3, I removed all the remaining leaves under the screen. Their menu for this week was as follows: Day 1 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.50 – pH 6.4 – 19.1°C/66.4°F) Day 2 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water + 2 ml CalMag/4000 ml (EC 0.84 – pH 6.4 – 20.7°C/69.3°F) Day 3 → Feeding day. For 4000 ml/1.06 gallon of tap water, I added 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 3 ml Power Buds, 6 ml Terra Grow, and 9 ml Terra Bloom (EC 1.59 – pH 6.5 – 19°C/66.2°F). Each plant received 1000 ml/0.26 of this mixture. Day 4 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.50 – pH 6.4 – 19.8°C/67.6°F) Day 5 → Each received 1000 ml/0.26 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.53 – pH 6.4 – 19.3°C/66.7°F) Day 6 → Feeding day. Same as Day 3 (EC 1.63 – pH 6.4 – 20.3°C/68.5°F). This was the last day Terra Grow was added. Day 7 → Each received 900 ml/0.24 gallon of pH-adjusted tap water (EC 0.58 – pH 6.5 – 19.5°C/67.1°F) The COBs were increased to 208 watts at a distance of 43 cm/16.9 inch. This resulted in a DLI of 30.7 / PPFD 711. Everything else remained the same as last week. Temperatures fluctuated between 19.5 – 23.8°C/67.1 – 74.8°F, and humidity remained between 36 – 57%.
