Placed the seeds into a cup of water for 24 hours and then I placed the seeds into a paper towel and put them into a ziplock bag (individually) for another 24 hours. The root popped out of each seed so then I put them in Fox Farm Happy Frog soil with a homemade humidity dome.
It’s been 11 days since the seedlings popped out of the soil. The Sparklit is growing faster than the Pineapple chunk and the sparklit is leaning for some reason but other than that there’s no other issue.
Will be doing some lst in week four. The Pineapple chunk is still lagging behind in height and growth but I’m going to still keep her and see what happens.
Topped the Sparklits and took off some of the lower leaves. Came to terms that the Pineapple Chunk will be a short plant and I’ll most likely top it in a few days. Also I’m using bud trainers to make an even canopy. I will be experimenting with this grow and just do a 6 week veg instead of a 8-10 week.
Plants have been drinking more water so I upped the watering to 8 cups each plant every other day and this will be the last day of the 18/6 light cycle.
It’s been one week since flipping the lights to 12/12. Haven’t seen much stretch from the pineapple Chunk and the sparklits seem to be doing well so it’s not a light issue. I used another stand to raise the Pineapple Chunk so there’s an even canopy.
Seems like the Pineapple chunk is getting a Calcium deficiency? I just watered her with a higher dosage of Calmag so hopefully that’s all it is. I have been feeding these girls around 800ppm do to a little bit of nute burn. I also gave these girls 1tbls of molasses since last week.
Sparklits buds seem to be getting bigger and the leaves are also getting more frosty, the Pineapple chunk is stacking but the buds aren’t growing as fast as the Sparklits, leaves are also getting frosty. Next time I run the Sparklits I’ll definitely let them veg longer and fill out the tent before fli
Sparklits are really developing a nice smell and buds are swelling, the Pineapple chunks buds are stacking nicely I just hope they start swelling up soon. May have to flower her a little longer than the sparklits. Definitely growing the sparklits in the future and I’ll use a trellis to fill the tent!
