Week 1 has started and "Peggy", the name given by my mum, is the first one to reach the light!
She looks healthy and is ready to explode in growth! I fixed some issues from my previous run and filled the pots up to the max with soil. I watered them 2 days beforehand and made sure to use potting soil for the middle to not overwhelm these seedlings with nutrients!
Week 2 and she's doing good! Her second leaves are just now beginning to form. Overall it's vegetation time! I'm giving her some fertilizer and bio boost to increase her root stretch!
Hey hey hey, Week 3 and she's already growing really much!
All of my 3 ladies are performing good, but she is really the top of the line! What more is there to say? She's happy, I'm happy! I applied some LST and corrected it every 2 days to insure maximum light-absorption by the lower nodes
Back at it again in Week 4!
Peggy thrives right now and the growth is just beginning! She isn't the biggest one so far, but I'm sure she will kick into her stretch even better!
Week 5 already? Damn, it's going fast!
Anyways, she's doing amazing and now her pheno really becomes apparent. She has very shiny and broad leaves, really different from the other one's. But she's growing beautifully and she is slowly going into flower!
Next week it's officially flower-time!!
Update Week 5:
It had to happen someday... When I check on my plants today I found one of the twigs lumped over due to a crack :(
The damage was quite fresh so I reckon it happened around an hour before I found her like this; thankfully!
It didn't really snap all the way through so I quickly grabbed some garden wire and fixed it to the main-stem. Hopefully she can repair the damage because it didn't break all the way through.
But hey, lesson learned: Don't overstress the twigs too much, else you break 'em!
Back again in Week 6 ladies and gentlemen!
Mrs. Peggy right here is the first one going into flowering! Every day I come back to more pistol-hairs shooting out of her bud-sites! Really happy :)
Week 6 is already over, going into Week 7!
Peggy is the weirdest one out of all of my three plants; she looks nothing like her sisters with the "same" genetics. But I'm not too worried cause she's doing fine!
Hello Week 8!
She is still one of the plants with the least grow potential because the LST didn't work very well... But I'm sure the taste is still as good as the rest!
Week 9 and it's looking fine!
She's doing great and terping up real good! My whole tent smells so wonderful; just like orange and gas. I know that harvest is going to be good!
Welcome to Week 10! A few more and this lady will be ready!
Did some light analysis and she receives about 600-800 PPFD. For me personally I like to give them a bit less intensity to not induce a hermi plant.
Week 11 and new room to breath!
"Peggy" was the bushiest of them all and she really needed that defoliation. Because now every bud-site gets some direct light!
Welcome back to the final week of Peggy, Week 12!
Out of the three phenos i've got Peggy is the most interesting one! Very strong mandarine terps and SOOOO many leaves, I can't even see the buds underneath it. Checks the trichomes and she needs a few more days to be milky all the way!
Due to her name I was a bit sceptical about how she would perform. But I was wrong; the name describes her exactly!
There is a lot of gas and fresh Orange / Mandarine you smell at first. This pheno is leaning heavily towards the orangey side and smells like you've cut into a freshly harvested mandarine and the juices drip out.
Most interesting pheno I've grown so far but now it was finally time to chop!
Her fresh Mandarine terps engulfed my basement into a fresh and sweet scent while I was cutting of some large fan-leaves. Awesome!
@weedfan133, Yeah, until their in flower I like to keep them on a 24/0 schedule. I'm gonna switch it to 20/4 in a few days. Autos don't really care about light-schedules in the first 2-3 weeks in veg. They just grow and grow and grow. But I've noticed that in flower they need that extra 4-6 hours of darkness to produce some big juicy buds.😇
