Introduction
This diary focuses on two exceptional FullGas mother plants selected for their unique phenotypes. Both represent the best characteristics observed in past grows: one leaning towards the classic Exodus Cheese profile with intense cheesy and earthy notes, and the other with a distinct fuel-like aroma reminiscent of shoe polish. With approximately three months of vegetative growth, these plants are primed to show their true potential in flowering. If you'd like to see the original grow where this plant first thrived, visit the dedicated diary on our page.
Setup
Growing Medium: Each FullGas plant has been placed in 15x15 cm rockwool cubes atop 20 cm rockwool slabs, providing a stable foundation and optimal nutrient absorption.
Support System: A ScrOG (Screen of Green) net is employed to control canopy height and offer support during the heavy flowering phase.
Vegetative Phase Overview
The three-month vegetative period allowed both plants to develop robust structures with extensive branching and a healthy root system. These mothers are now ready to transition into flowering, where they will be evaluated for their resin production, bud density, and terpene profiles.
Week 1 of Flowering
Nutrient Adjustments: Transitioned to a bloom feeding schedule with pH adjusted to 6.0/6.1 to meet the demands of early flowering.
Growth Observations: Both plants have responded well to the change in nutrients, with noticeable new growth and the beginning signs of flowering development.
Plant 1: Recovering strongly and showing robust vertical stretch.
Plant 2: Adapting quickly and displaying a balanced structure ideal for the ScrOG setup.
Environment
Temperature: Maintained between 27-28°C during the day, with nighttime temperatures around 21-22°C.
Humidity: Controlled at 60-70% to support healthy transpiration and prevent stress.
Airflow: An additional fan was introduced under the canopy to enhance air circulation and prevent microclimates.
ScrOG Implementation
Both plants were trained through the ScrOG net to ensure an even canopy. This setup not only maximizes light penetration but also offers support as the buds begin to form.
End of Week 5 Flowering
The FullGas clones are thriving, showing impressive bud formation and trichome development.
Like the Moweeto, they are starting to have trouble supporting the heaviest branches.
The scent is intensifying, with the classic Exodus Cheese funk blending with fuel-like undertones, making for a powerful and pungent profile.
A defoliation and lollipop were done on day 21 of flowering to optimize growth and structure.
End of Week 6 Flowering
The FullGas plants are thriving, consuming slightly less water than Moweeto but still showing significant bud development. The structure is holding up well, though some branches are starting to bend under the weight of the dense flowers. The pungent cheese and fuel-like aroma is becoming more pronounced, filling the space.
The transition to Athena Fade on the last day of the week marks the final phase of flowering, preparing the plant for the ripening process.
