deFharo Welcome, enthusiasts of homemade, clandestine, and organic marijuana!
When everything seemed lost, the last seed I had of this strain timidly peeked through the substrate. It's struggling to thrive, but I trust I can bring it forward. For now, I’m waiting, while I water it with spring water and take it for a stroll during the day by the sunlight from the windows at home, and it spends the night cozy in the grow tent... all for the cause!

deFharo Welcome, enthusiasts of homemade, clandestine, and organic marijuana!
It's the second week of life for this landrace indica, which came from Afghanistan to my home to be grown.
The development is slow, but finally, the little seedling is showing growth; the cotyledons have withered, so I think the seedling is fully feeding from the roots, and thinking this gives me hope to bring this native strain forward.
During this week, I've been taking extra care of all my seedlings, pampering them. I prepared a brew with spring water, my Bio fertilizer made from 3 types of seaweed, natural heather honey, and a bit of Ormus from the Cantabrian Sea—definitely a multitude of micronutrients, vitamins, carbohydrates, etc. Additionally, I've added 15ppm of auxins to each watering as I continue my effort to boost root development; the hormones, seaweed, and honey will be my allies in achieving this... let’s play!
During the day, I take advantage of the fantastic spectrum of sunlight, filtered through a window, and at night in the grow tent surrounded by white and blue lights, which mainly promote compactness and strength in branches and roots... the game continues!

deFharo Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts!
Three weeks since the germination of this landrace indica, the seedling is evolving and responding to care. It's going to make it!
All the seedlings are growing very compact thanks to the blue light of 450nm that I combine with an LED panel to complete the color spectrum.

deFharo 🖐️👨🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic cannabis enthusiasts!
In the fourth week since the seed of this landrace indica germinated, I have transplanted it into its final pot. An old-school 7L pot with lateral aeration and an elevated bottom. For now, the seedling is growing slowly; I hope it's more comfortable now and expands its roots throughout the substrate.
The last 5 players/seedlings have entered the playing field. Before that, I thoroughly cleaned the grow tent, oiled the fans, and polished the lights.
For now, I’m lighting the garden with 7 lamps:
- On the sides: 3xCOB (450nm), 1x LED panel (7700K) = 190w
- On the canopy: 3 lamps, one in the center at maximum power (150w) because the power regulator isn’t working, and on either side of it, two lamps with good color spectrum and brightness at 50%. 250w.
For ventilation, I have two independent and adjustable extractors, and inside the grow cabinet, 5 powerful, adjustable, flat fans so they don’t take up space… let’s play!
This season, growing in 7 and 11-liter old-school pots, very aerated, I’ve raised the base of all the pots so the substrate doesn’t lack oxygen… let’s play!
Geeky things, before making the substrate: When transplanting, I’m going to bury the stem about 2-4 centimeters deep to encourage rooting. I carefully scraped the bark of the stem in that area and wrapped it in cotton soaked in water with natural honey, organic seaweed fertilizer, and homemade auxins. I liked the look so much that I ended up burying the stem and leaving the cotton around it... all for the cause!
The soil!, holy soil!
This afternoon I’ve been preparing the substrate for the last five seedlings of the season. It’s a tough task since I have to use many components to achieve a very light and airy substrate, but at the same time, it needs to contain organic matter, microbiology, and varied minerals (3M).
My intention is always to maximize root expansion while creating the best conditions for the absorption of soluble bio-nutrients and the proliferation of microbiology.
- The substrate: I used a light substrate as a base, homemade bokashi, and coconut fiber (inoculated with MM) in equal parts, with a bit of worm humus; perlite, river gravel, and rice husk to improve drainage, vermiculite and zeolite to enhance moisture and nutrient retention, and finally, a mix of over 15 types of micronized minerals at a rate of 1 gram per liter of substrate (various types of clays, pumice, azomite, basalt, leonardite, diatomite, dolomite, phosphorite, wood ash, borax, etc.). These minerals, for me, are indispensable as they play essential roles in various enzymatic and biological processes. The assured presence of all the minerals from the periodic table, a unique mineral wealth, guarantees a complete and complex evolution of the plants because, after all, plants are, like us, animated minerals.
Cultivating while playing, or die trying! 😂

It's been a week since the transplant and five since I put the seed in the substrate, the little Taliban plant has shown that it's comfortable in its new pot, and now the growth is visible daily. This week I made a foliar application to all the crops to give them a boost, and the grateful plants just keep growing and growing...

Seven weeks since I put the seed in the substrate, the crazy and happy plant is growing and promises to outshine its landrace team mates, despite being two weeks younger than them.
With very robust growth, the plant is moving towards its glory, consuming very little water due to its origins in the dry lands of Afghanistan, large and wide leaves beautify the crop... it lacks nothing! 😁

It's been eight weeks since I put the seed in the substrate, and the plant is getting incredibly strong, leaving its landrace companions behind, who are having a rough time.
Very robust, with large and thick leaves, the plant is progressing, the side branches are taking center stage, I want to wait a couple more weeks before entering flowering, although I'm already running out of vital space in the grow tent, I will finally have to grow two plants in my homemade grow cabinet to relieve space between plants and bring them to their climax!

deFharo 🖐️👨🌾 Welcome, homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts!
It's been nine weeks since I put the seed in the substrate, and the plant is progressing with enormous strength, having left behind its two landrace companions, both struggling to break free from the block they've been in for 3 weeks. A few days ago, I did a root flush with a very mild mix (EC:0.4) of mountain spring water (EC: 0.22), with an acidic pH of 6, as I detected in the runoff from the two plants that were collapsing and in this same one some unheard-of levels of EC and pH for me: EC: +12, pH: 7.85, and the worst part is that I have no explanation for such figures, as I was watering with very mild components based on algae and fruits, and I'm especially surprised by the runoff pH since all my waterings are acidic between 6 and 6.4... anyway!
One more week and I'll start the flowering stage for all the plants that are ready, and this plant is showing a strong desire to show its flowers... let’s play!

It's been seven weeks since I put the seed in the substrate and 4 days since I changed the light schedule to 12/12H. The plant grows and strengthens day by day, I can't wait to see the flowers!
The garden is moving unstoppable, joyfully and united towards the flower party... 🌼🌼🌼 I love the winter season for growing marijuana, the grow tent stays around 25°C with the lights on and about 18°C with the lights off. And if I'm lucky, the nighttime temperature will end up causing some of the varieties to show colors.

Just weeks of flowering 🌼🌼
Last days of life, the appearance is magnificent, I'm waiting for the substrate moisture to run out in 2-3 days to harvest it.
Growing this native plant from Afghanistan has been a great pleasure for me! 😁 I will repeat!

Una variedad muy fuerte, elegante y productiva.
Los cogollos son muy densos, pegajosos y olorosos, ahora se secan delante del extractor de la carpa de cultivo.

@kohlrabi, Well, try or give up, but giving up is not my style.
I have the photos organized by week and I copy data and texts from the journals with errors.
