This is officially my first grow. I have some experience with gardening and especially bonsai. Its going to be quite challenging given the limited height of my tent.

Spaying with tap water. Keeping the seedling under a plastic bag for maintaining humidity. Giving around 300 PPFD.

Still keeping the seedling under a plastic bag for maintaining humidity Gave a very little dosage of Bio Grow, to make sure my tap's water ph is dropped a bit. I do not really water it by this point, I just spray the surface of the soil and do same little watering at the edges of the pot I increased PPFD to around 350

The temperature was getting a bit high, so I lowered the light intensity and lifted the pot by 10cm. Now I give around 450 PPFD. Always under a humidity bag to achive a VPD below 1. I was looking into topping or heavy LST. Since I have a very small tent and time constraints with the grow I want to keep the Veg, as short as possible so I decided to LST a bit early. Lots of people told me I do nonsensial stuff, but here I am, LSTing quite early. PPFD 450. I caused some small injuries to some leafs, but lets consider this training as well 😆 Let me know, if you would go with topping or LST for this setup. If you go with LST, at which node would you cut? Now that I started LST, should I wait till branches reach 1-2 nodes before flipping? Note the limited space!! After day 15 I stopped LST and lowered the pot so now getting 350 PPFD. I removed the humidity dome. I will let it grow some more and see... There are some brown spots on the leafs, which I assume are from the difference in PH between plain tap water and water with nutrients. Now it should stabilize since I will feed In every watering. After I abandoned LST I show some good growth, so I decided to top her and keep 3 lowest nodes. I watered 500ml with Calmag and Bio Grow and then topped. Also I kept all the foliage. Topped at end of Day 19 (3 Weeks from Imbibition completed actually). I will let some growth and then LST branches to the end of the pot. I also realised some minor smell??

Week 4 is on. The plant is starting to demanding more water. The branches are developing quite well and the plant did not bother the topping at all. I am feeding at every watering. I kept the big leaves for some days to allow the plant suck their energy.

I keep doing some selective defoliation every few days to allow light reach all stems. Also since this plant is too bushy i defoliate to keep humidity from building up between the touching leafs. I plan on flipping at the 31/1. I water every two days

Hey growmie, I suggest you measure you light strength in DLI with one of the free apps for that and move it a bit higher from the plant. It looks like you're giving her a bit too much at the current stage. Good luck!

Buena suerte :)

@All_our_small_plants, I removed the big leafs and only kept the very big at the top. I will update the diary today so you can see. Now is indeed much more space for branches to grow freely

@All_our_small_plants, Hi there and Thanks for your input From what i have read, I should keep leafs since they provide the energy rather stealing it. Could I wait a bit to cut them until the branches outgrow the radius of the bigger leafs?

@einamio, HI thanks for the advice, I give 35 DLI and the light is 30 cm away and cant get further due to limited height. I have the photon app and I adjusted it to 35 DLI, how much would you give, given that the plant is almost a month old and next week i am planning to flip?

Very nice G-man, minimal space indeed. As soon as the seedling has a green leaf the humidity needs to drop, to a 40-60%, all the high humidity 60+ has done is stunt growth for the first 2 weeks, if your nighttime is going up to 90+rh then all gas exchange is cut off meaning cellular respiration doesn't happen at all or a tiny fraction, with such high ppfd the plant needs excellent water cycling to deal with the high-pressure environment your putting her under, causing her more stress if waters not cycling nutrients can't get to where they need to be, but that's ok, no one said life was going to be easy, did they? You want to keep a dry 40-50% environment day and night, water to 5-10% runoff always, and keep the soil wet and air dry. She is after all a "weed" until she flowers, treat her as such, bend her break her. Look forward to seeing her progress, and wish you the best with your new growth.

@Ultraviolet, Thank you mate! Indeed everything is as you described, but I didnt realise a stunt growth since I could see her evloving day by day without a break. From all my research online I understood that the seedling stage needs a high humidity, and all I could find was that the seedling stage is on as long as you dont have full spike leafs. I was confused. Now I realised that and removed every trick I did to keep the humidity high. Now she is at 50% with 350PPFD 30cm from light. I also closed the tent fully to create more negative pressure and help humidity stabilise. I plan to top her on sunday, but still not sure since i want to go into flowering as soon as I can, but still have a respectable yield 20g Thanks again!
