Week 4 is on. The plant is starting to demanding more water. The branches are developing quite well and the plant did not bother the topping at all. I am feeding at every watering.

@einamio, HI thanks for the advice, I give 35 DLI and the light is 30 cm away and cant get further due to limited height. I have the photon app and I adjusted it to 35 DLI, how much would you give, given that the plant is almost a month old and next week i am planning to flip?

Buena suerte :)

@All_our_small_plants, I removed the big leafs and only kept the very big at the top. I will update the diary today so you can see. Now is indeed much more space for branches to grow freely

@All_our_small_plants, Hi there and Thanks for your input From what i have read, I should keep leafs since they provide the energy rather stealing it. Could I wait a bit to cut them until the branches outgrow the radius of the bigger leafs?

Hey growmie, I suggest you measure you light strength in DLI with one of the free apps for that and move it a bit higher from the plant. It looks like you're giving her a bit too much at the current stage. Good luck!

Very nice G-man, minimal space indeed. As soon as the seedling has a green leaf the humidity needs to drop, to a 40-60%, all the high humidity 60+ has done is stunt growth for the first 2 weeks, if your nighttime is going up to 90+rh then all gas exchange is cut off meaning cellular respiration doesn't happen at all or a tiny fraction, with such high ppfd the plant needs excellent water cycling to deal with the high-pressure environment your putting her under, causing her more stress if waters not cycling nutrients can't get to where they need to be, but that's ok, no one said life was going to be easy, did they? You want to keep a dry 40-50% environment day and night, water to 5-10% runoff always, and keep the soil wet and air dry. She is after all a "weed" until she flowers, treat her as such, bend her break her. Look forward to seeing her progress, and wish you the best with your new growth.

@Ultraviolet, Thank you mate! Indeed everything is as you described, but I didnt realise a stunt growth since I could see her evloving day by day without a break. From all my research online I understood that the seedling stage needs a high humidity, and all I could find was that the seedling stage is on as long as you dont have full spike leafs. I was confused. Now I realised that and removed every trick I did to keep the humidity high. Now she is at 50% with 350PPFD 30cm from light. I also closed the tent fully to create more negative pressure and help humidity stabilise. I plan to top her on sunday, but still not sure since i want to go into flowering as soon as I can, but still have a respectable yield 20g Thanks again!
