Borberad Welcome to our grow diary, where we document the cultivation of the Zkittlez Auto strain from Fast Buds. The goal is to detail the entire growth process – from germination to harvest – while describing both progress and challenges. This diary is meant to not only record our own experiences but also serve as a helpful guide for other growers who want to cultivate this extraordinary strain. Strain description: Zkittlez Auto from Fast Buds Zkittlez Auto from Fast Buds is a popular autoflowering cannabis strain known for its intense fruity aromas and robust genetics. This award-winning strain combines indica-dominant traits with the simplicity of an automatic life cycle. With a THC content of up to 23%, Zkittlez Auto delivers a balanced, pleasant effect that is both relaxing and uplifting. Aroma profile and effect: Zkittlez Auto impresses with a distinctive flavor of tropical fruits and sweet berries, accompanied by subtle citrus notes. The effect is physically relaxing while the mind enters a light, creative euphoria. This makes the strain perfect for relaxed afternoons or evenings when you want to unwind and enjoy the moment. Cultivation: This strain is ideal for growers of all experience levels, as it is easy to cultivate and requires minimal care. With a lifespan of 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest, Zkittlez Auto reaches a compact to medium size. It still delivers impressively high yields and produces dense, resinous buds with a strikingly sweet aroma. Thanks to its robust autoflower genetics, it thrives both indoors and outdoors under various conditions. We look forward to documenting the development of this fascinating strain and providing you with insights into the entire process. Here's to a successful harvest! First, we let the seed soak in 1% hydrogen peroxide for about 20 hours. While the seed is soaking, we fill the 20L fabric pot with the prepared grow medium. About 1/4 of the pot diameter from the edge, we place a coco pellet to create a nutrient-poor environment for germination. This time, we are not placing it in the center, as the plant will be laid completely sideways again.

Borberad Week 1 starts with a strong young Zkittlez. That's how it should be! However, it wants to grow in a different direction than it should. 🙈😊

Borberad Week 2 Actually, the little flower was supposed to be bent on day 14, instead we nearly broke the stem from the first node. In the hope that the plant will heal the spot on its own, the stem was supported as a rescue so that the break is pressed together.

Borberad Week 3 started off really well after the accident! The little plant had almost completely healed the break, until I, in my overzealousness, broke it off completely a day later. No worries, two shoots are still going strong. And the broken top will just be trimmed for experimental purposes and stuck in the pot.

Borberad Week 4 Quite a bit of stress for the girl, but she seems to have handled it well and two strong main shoots are growing. The broken part also seems to be growing slowly.

Borberad Week 5 Still no signs of flowering beginning. But given the stress that's occurred, it's not surprising and not bad at all. The broken shoot seems to have rooted very well and is growing nicely.

Borberad At least the broken tip is starting to bloom. 😂 Impressive how dense the double stem is growing. Also interesting that the main plant shows no signs of flowering yet. Because the broken stem is already starting to bloom, the nutrient balance is a bit tricky.

Borberad Flowering week 2 for the unwanted clone, and the mom is taking her time. Let's see how much later she goes into flowering. But at least we already have a mini bud that will ripen earlier for testing. 😊

Borberad It's amazing how well this plant has developed and especially how incredibly large it has become despite the rather harsh treatment. It's actually gotten a bit too dense and bushy, so a stronger defoliation and trimming is on the agenda.

Borberad Week 9 begins and we’ve done some serious defoliation, even if it’s hardly noticeable on this bush. The flowering is just really starting, so it will take a few more weeks and it will bulk up nicely. For a few days now, we’ve added self-watering to our fabric pots. (See photo) Just added a wick to the existing grid in the saucer, so now it can be watered from the bottom without the flower sitting in water. However, if possible, only pure water should be supplied from below. Somehow the wicks seem to get salty and then don’t work properly anymore.

Borberad The flowering has led to a slight stretch. Despite our thinning and defoliation, we can't seem to get a handle on the flower. However, it will probably still take another 2 to 3 weeks until harvest, so we can confidently keep swinging the scissors and do some lollipopping.

Borberad In the next few weeks, I'll be giving a bit of Calmag and Plagron Greensensation, but nitrogen will be put on hold. She really needs to finish up soon. 🤪

Borberad Week 13 and still no amber in sight. We're reducing the watering to "dry feet," max 1L every one to two days to stress the lady a bit more and somehow make it clear to her that her autumn has arrived.

Happy Harvest Day!
