This time I wanted to try raising a clone, so i bought this Wedding Cake. Unfortunately I forgot to ask about the breeder. The clone already had some nice roots and was ready for planting. I'm trying out some new stuff this time: The plan is to have only one plant but try to fill the area of the tent as much as possible with some LST and probably scrog, once it is in it's final pot size. Nutrients will be provided by Green House Feeding (BioBloom 3g per L of soil). Water will only be pH adjusted and adding some BioEnhancer every 2 weeks. CalMag when needed. After some starting issues (had to replant at the end of the first day due to too much initial watering) the plant now seems to thrive, growing quick. The light intensity started low so the plant can acclimate. Now turning it up to get to target values for veg phase.

A lot happened this week, unfortunately not all good. Some leaves developed yellow/brownish spots over the weekend that quickly spread, mostly on older leaves, but not strictly the lower ones. I suspect this could be magnesium deficiency which also fits the red discoloration of the stem. Maybe the Green House Feeding took a bit to kick in? But more likely it's pH fluctuations. To counter this I added some more Calmag. Also I think my pH meter is crap. A proper one is on the way. Now to the not so bad news: Before all that happened I started LST by carefully binding down in order to get her to spread out a bit more. This wen't OK, and i don't think there is a connection to the deficiency. Also new equipment arrived: a better live cam (finally HD), the new AI+ controller and CO2+Light sensor from AC Infinity. Finally I replaced the old monkey fan with a Cloudray A6. Update Day11: The deficiency symptoms seem to have stopped, brown spots are not spreading anymore, fan leaves are growing big and stay juicy green. Could be the added Calmag or the the greenhouse feeding finally kicked up nutrition delivery, probably both.

Starting week 3 with a bigger pot. Update Day 18 Preflowers started showing upon on some nodes revealing white pistils. It's a girl :) Update Day 21 Growing and filling out the space more, but the upper leaves are a bit pale, slightly yellow. This could be a deficiency due to water logged roots. After switching to a bigger pot the new soil takes way longer to dry as the roots have not fully penetrated it yet. Towards the end of each light cycle there is much more droop than usual. Will wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again. Could also be a bit too much light, as the very top shows some light stress (before tying it down some more). But the top leaves of lower branches are equally effected, so it's more likely a nutrient issue.

Day 25 Last week and the beginning of this one, I had to deal with some watering issues. To be honest, at first I was not sure if this was under or over watering, as the soil was not really drying, but had a lot of drooping. So I let it dry some more. With a few leaves turning crispy and the way they were drooping, at least I am confident now it was under watering. Probably happened after repotting. I'm still slowly adapting to find the proper watering cycle, but she seems to be recovering now. Im was planning to send her into bloom in about 1 or 2 weeks. But let's see how well she does until then. Day 28 She looks like she recovered and is noticeably growing now. 💪 Should not take too long to fill the available space more.

Slowly filling, most branches reached reached the net. My plan is to start flowering towards the end of this week. Day 34 Today I switched the light cycle to 12/12 to start flowering

Switched light cycle to bloom a few days ago and started feeding Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom. Since I don't know the exact genetics, for now I will assume around 10 weeks bloom. So for BioBloom it's 3g/l now and another 1g/l in 3rd week.

Day 44 Starting second week of early flowering. Although the top view from the cam still mostly looks like a closed canopy, the side view clearly shows the stretch. Developing flowers all over the place. Had a few small flies showing up last week, immediately put in a yellow sticker. So far only very few and no more showing up for now. I hope they don't come back.

Day 52 Third week of flowering and colas are slowly developing. A few leaves started turning redish purple. This could be genetic, light/temperature related or signs of a nutrient problem. The branches were already tending to turn red/purple during veg and overall the plant seems to be healthy. Given that I don't know the exact genetics, this could very well be normal for this pheno. For now I will keep an eye on it. As the stretch seems to be finished, defoliation is soon in order. I will post another update once this is done.

Day 58 Flowers keep growing and getting more frosty and colors keep changing. Still didn't get around to defoliating, will probably do this tomorrow. Unfortunately the fungus gnats are back. Yes I finally learned what they are called in english :) This is probably why from time to time random leafs have wilted. You can see some chilling on the bottom of leafs in the close up pictures. For now I have treated the top layer of soil with some Neem oil. Can't use this around the buds, so spraying the whole plant is not an option. Ordered some SF nematodes. Those should take care of this pest.

Updates from last week: Did some defoliation and light lollipopping below the net, just to improve airflow on the bottom and remove small branches with popcorn buds. Also deployed SF nematodes, to finally get rid of the fungus gnats. Day 65: 4th week of flowering has started. So far nothing special to report. The AI Controller has correctly adjusted dynamic lighting times after the switch to summer time last weekend.
