meows Sown in root riot cube, little tap water and 23C battling RH around 50-60 😱 but it’s in a seedling dome. Small seedling that was sprouting upside down initially, split another root riot cube and put it inside right way up. Next day it sprouted with the seed shell and cotyledons. Been riding 22C in day with 55-60RH and 19C at night. VPD ranges 0.54-0.88 and PPFD 250 18/6

meows Been an ok week, put in clay pebbles and added a small amount of plain water to reservoir - it’s not touching yet as no roots are showing and have the pump on for air. As soon as roots show I’ll prepare a proper solution mix for the reservoir. Feeding now with pipette every now and then usually twice a day around 10ml with base nutes.

meows Been a steady week, filled reservoir with light solution of grow nutes only and waiting for roots to come down more.
In the next few days I’ll prepare a full solution (including beneficial bacteria) and fill the level higher so those roots come into contact with the water. I want them to stretch right now as the bubbles are popping into the bottom of the net pot.
She is staying quite short which is great as last grow I had stretched the seedling as light meter was calibrated incorrectly.

meows Another week and not much happened. Got the roots showing nice.
Further growth up top and more sets of leaves coming. Tight node spacing.
Prepared proper reservoir with grow nutes, bacteria and silicic acid.
Will flip to flower maybe in another week or two.

meows This week she grew a bit, staying low. Started to see signs of an issue. Lower leaves started to get a few brown spots and then turned a bit lighter, I think because I’ve been careful on the nutes she’s not getting enough food.
Changed the reservoir with bioponic grow a and b @ 2ml/l. EC around 0.9 and ph 5.8. Also added bactivator as usual.
Going to flip to flower in the next week latest. So I’ll slowly reduce the hours of light now each day so as not to get more stretch.

meows So this week I started to drop the light by an hour each day, and now on 12/12.
She stretched a bit and the leaves with the rust/brown spots have kind of stayed the course and not spreading to the newer leaves. Also the new shoots at the first few nodes are looking like they got away with it too.
I mixed up the start of the bloom nutes and used about 2ml/l of grow and 0.5ml/l bloom. Also added silica and calmag as per usual for 12l. Bactivator in there too, that’s why the roots look brownish. It’s not root rot, swear!!
Let’s see how much she stretches now we fully into flowering light cycles.

meows Another week of flowering done.
Stretched again and put the side bars up.
Feeding still very light, saw the tips burn a little so am running EC around 0.9 and dropped humidity.

meows This week went fine and I defoliated a small bit - couple of leaves here and there.
Definitely showing she’s in flower now and hopefully she’ll get a bit taller before thickening out.
Nothing much else happened this week.

meows Had a major defoliation event middle of the week.
Growth seems to have slowed a bit and not stretching as much. I’d hoped for more as still got around 15cm height spare. Ah well.
Tied down some beaches and also supported the main stem as it was kinda leaning to one side - I think because of the root riot cube being split due to the upside down seed. Won’t do that again and maybe next time just place the wonky seedling into an uncut cube.
I wanted to let this one grow without topping or anything and I’ve put the side lights on full blast the last two weeks, in an effort to give them more juice as the main light energy drops off quickly. Wonder what another set of tent bars with more lights around the bottom would be like!
And still, I’m taking measurements of EC and PH every morning but only once ever corrected PH. After res changes it’s sometimes 6.7/6.8 and let it ride for a day and it comes down to 6 or 5.8/5.9. I think the Triple F makes it shoot and then as things settle and the goodies work it regulates to the good numbers.
Let’s see how she bulks now 🤞

meows Been drinking slot this week so I’ve add to fill her reservoir up every day or so.
Battled with temps this week as it’s getting warmer outside now and when there is no wind it’s pushing the tent temps about two degrees up. Still seeing some swings of humidity when lights go off.
Cool mutant flowers growing sideways off the top of the main cola. I’ve never seen it before so not sure if it’s a good it bad sign.
While I’m glad I didnt top/supercrop on this grow and have let her grow naturally in that respect, next time I will be topping and manipulating.

meows Battled with temps this week, air was stagnant outside and not much wind. So was hard to keep things dry and cool but managed to do alright.
Smell of the buds are incredible.. spicy yet woody and sweet. Can’t wait to try this!!
