First DWC/RDWC Grows

Week 1 26 - seedlings appeared and fist small root is poking out the bottom. Moistened plug and covered. 27 - Tansferred into dwc with seedling nutes. Less than recommended seedling amount. ppm 300, ph 5.8. Water just below plug to moisten with bubbles. Roots are not quite in the water. I’ve been covering the hole around the seedling to prevent light from entering the tank until she’s tall enough for a neoprene collar. Light set 24” on 100% 28 - same conditions 29 - continuing conditions, trying to keep the water chilled is difficult, using ice water bottles, a few more roots have come out of the plug. 30 - water staying about 6.5. 31 - water ph at 6.6, I adjusted the water to about ph 5.9. The first root dipped its foot in the water. Tons or roots emerging. She looks healthy and around 1.5” tall. I’ve been changing the ice bottle several times a day to keep water temps down. I need another approach because doing this isn’t sustainable. 1 -
