phelice Hello dear Growmunity, At this point, I want to give a big shoutout and thank you to the organizers/sponsors of the Eternity Grow Cup 2025. Without Zamnesia, Plagron, and Growdiaries, this event wouldn't be possible, and I hope that a high participation from the forum leads to more events like this in the future. Now, onto the main thing, the diary 😃... so the seeds were germinated in mid-January. For this, I used a glass with pH-corrected water in which the seeds were soaked for 24 hours, so that the next day they were already fully saturated at the bottom of the glass. After that, they were packed between two layers of paper towels and left to germinate for a few days. At the end of January, two out of three seeds (the third unfortunately didn't germinate😢) were planted in small 1L pots with seedling soil and are now being illuminated for the first few weeks of their seedling growth under two fluorescent tubes with 18W, before they go under the proper grow light. Best regards and wishing everyone participating in the cup a successful grow, Peaz P.S.: Plagron Green Sensation will of course be used at a later stage, but it had to be selected so that I could even join the contest.

phelice Hello dear Growmunity, here are a few pictures from the first 2 weeks. Unfortunately, after the first repotting, I forgot to water properly, which caused some growth to be stunted for the following 3-5 days 😟. Otherwise, the two are still too small to move into the next larger pots (here I want to compare a 7l pot vs. a 9l Air-Pot). Since February 10th, the ladies are now also in the final grow box and are being illuminated by a Hortione600 instead of fluorescent tubes like in picture 2, which is currently dimmed to 1/3 and is absolutely sufficient for the current stage. The temperatures in the new room are unfortunately rather in the red zone, but hopefully, they will rise a bit soon when the weather gets better. Otherwise, I wish all other growers much success with their Runtz and I’m already looking forward to all the different grow diaries and hopefully results soon 🤌. Shout out to all participants of the Eternity Grow Cup 25!

phelice Hello dear Growlegends, here's an update with pictures from the last 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I haven't really managed to update regularly here due to time constraints. The ladies are growing a bit slowly, so you haven't missed too much.. Unfortunately, the girls have already shown significant Calmag deficiency after 4 weeks in 9l and 7l pots, which is why I've had to add a good amount of Calmag from BioBizz to the watering for the past 1.5 weeks. Additionally, I've been experiencing slight temperature fluctuations since it still cools down quite a bit at night in my region. I wouldn't buy the new "peat-free" BioBizz soil from the hardware store again, as I was much more convinced by the quality of the previous version in terms of texture and for the ladies. The soil was also already wet and full of fungus gnats and mites, which I never had with the previous version from the GrowShop (they probably store it better there). Therefore, I've been regularly adding Neem oil over the last two weeks and once watered with nematodes, which was certainly a bit of stress for the (still) little ones... Otherwise, I hope they can regenerate a bit more so I can top them again and get at least 2 headbuds without colliding with the time window. 😁 I wish all other Growmies a successful grow rewarded with big buds. Peace

phelice Hello dear Growmunity, attached are a few pictures from week 7 of my two Runtz. The ladies are still growing rather slowly, so there isn't much new to say. I'm still watering with Calmag added, and I also added some Lucky Mushroom Mycorrhiza Soluble one more time. Best regards to all growers

phelice Week 8 and growth continues to be muted. Due to the poor soil, I'm only slightly scratching the strain's potential. I've attached a video of the insects that were in the soil, along with the fungus gnats. Today, the ladies were trimmed a bit at the bottom.

Yeah growmie those are springtail harmless lil cleanup crew. Means your soil is alive and doing fine. No need to panic or spray stuff. I leave them be every time, they never touch the plant. Question though, I don't see any soil, where did you take that photo?

phelice The ladies continue to grow very little to not at all, which seems to be due to the new BioBizz peat-free soil, as I don't have such problems with all the other plants. I've now also decided to sort out the front lady and only continue with the lady in the AirPot, as I can use the space for other plants more effectively. I'm sorry dear Zamnesia and Plagron team.. but you know, one learns through mistakes and in the future, I'll be working with the usual soil again.

phelice Runtz can be seen in bloom week 3. She's probably the skinniest lady in the entire contest, but I'm going to finish her now. best regards to the growmunity

Hey hey, good to see you. It could very well be due to the peat-free soil. The peat content also supports a good soil life that provides nutrients. The ladies look like they urgently need nutrients. Primarily nitrogen. If you have a fertilizer for the growth phase, definitely give it to them.
