Early start to 2025.
PaperTowl on 1/31, Popped and Placed in soil 2/3, Popped from soil 2/4 under grow light.
Soil is:
70% FFOF
10% Earthworm Castings
10% Perlite
10% Seed Starter
Keeping indoors through 2/8 due to inclement weather.
Intention for Mixed light (grow light at night and inclement weather, sun light when available) for first 4 weeks or until 20". Then outdoor sunlight only.
Week1: First 4 days of 24hr grow light
3 days of mixed light (12 grow light, 6 sunlight).
No watering, 5 gallon pot was presoaked.
Grow light at 14-18"
She's a cutie and strong looking.
Week2:
Light: 12 grow light, 6 direct sunlight, weekend overnight outside (no light).
Water: Light rain Monday, 1 Liter indirect Sunday, Grow light at 18".
Nutrients: No nutrients, going with a less is more for the time being (light water, no nutes until maybe preflower).
Notes: A little floppy early in the week, but stood up good and she stood up strong with minimal help from Indiana boys.
She's a cutie, starting to show some expansion, and strong looking.
Going to start leaving her out on more overnights soon.
No grow light this week.
Weather was early summer warm so left her out all day and night.
She got less light but got stronger and is noding out nicely.
Upcoming week is expected cooler, I'll bring her in under some light a few nights before she gets too big.
No nutes yet, she's got some nice looking cotyledons still.
1 liter of un-ph'd water.
I was planning on keeping this grow drier due to the early start of in the year and as a general experiment.
She's starting to get thirsty and the warm/dry weather has me checking a bit more often.
Defoliated first node leaves and nodettes.
4 weeks and she's showing a bit of pre-flower.
She's smaller than all of my previous plants, but this is the earliest I've germinated.
Had some rainy and cold days, so brought her in under the grow light.
LST was introduced, but just a bit, not too much.
Some yellowing at the bottom leaves.
Next watering I'll go with some FF Grow Big.
Week: 5-6ish
Weather: Warmer and drier than last.
Light: 5-6 hours of sunlight and brought her inside 3 nights this week. Grow light at 18" at 75%
Water: She was thirsty, so 2 liters.
Nutrients: She seemed to be yellowing a bit earlier for my liking. FFGB and FFTB at .5 tsp per liter.
Notes: She's definitely flowering. Faint smell. Wish she had stretched a bit more, but that cold week and half bringing her indoor at the wrong time seemed to stunt that. She is beautiful though. The white with the hint of purple at the base is pretty. Again, wish she was a bit bigger, but this was the earliest I've gone by 4 weeks and think that the recent cold weather during her important veg weeks stunted her. Either way, we're going to finish her up the best that she is.
Week: 6-7ish
Light: No grow light, 6-7 direct sunlight
Water: 1.5L at pH 6.8ish
Nutrients: FFTigerBloom .5tsp and FFBigBloom .5 tsp = 1tsp for 1.5L
Notes: She's bulking up but not stretching much. Pretty white flowers frosting up with some hint of purple at the base of the flowers (we've had a few nights down to the mid to low 40's).
She's seemed to appreciate the nutrients as she's stopped yellowing and perked up nicely.
I believe the cold weather stunted her height and size, but she is shaping up to be very cute and pretty.
Week: 7ish
Light: 7-8 direct sunlight
Water: 1.5L at pH 6.8ish.
Nutrients: FFTigerBloom .5tsp and FFBMCalMag .5 tsp = 1tsp for 1.5L
Notes: She's not stretching. White flowers frosting up more with some definitely shades of purple coming in.
Still staying with very light nutrients. Added in some FFBMCalMag as she was getting a bit yellow too early.
I'm not going to expect her to get much bigger, but she's a cutie with some pretty colors starting in.
Week: 8-9ish
Light: 7-8 direct sunlight
Water: 1.5L at pH 6.5ish. Been using a few drops of key lime from my neighbor's massive key lime tree. Seems to be doing the trick bringing down my high (8+) ph tap water.
Nutrients: FFTigerBloom .5tsp and FFGrowBig .25 tsp = 1tsp for 1.5L
Notes: She's not going to stretch. I've given up hope for her to reach out a bit more. Her white flowers have frosted up nicely. She's a beauty with those shades of purple.
Nutrients are light but threw in some N. She's stayed way greener than my previous grows this far into flower.
Love her cute stature and deepening colors.
