Very sorry to start this diary 3 weeks into flowering. Was not going to do one for these but the way they have stretched up to 5 feet under such strong light, kind of intrigued me to share this grow!
Did a VERY heavy defoliation today 2/1/25 and watered with molasses.
Two days into 4 weeks of flowering and they are doing great. The stretch has stopped and I have moved the inline fan to the back out of the way allowing more height for the light to be raised. Bud sites are ready to fill up and trichomes are already showing up which is nice to see. Currently the light intensity is at 80%, midway this week I will increase to 90%.
These buds are exploding in growth and trichomes. I do a very light defoliation plucking fan leaves here and there every couple days. Wish I would have cleaned up more on the lower of some branches for less energy waste on larf, will have to see how it finishes since this is the first time I use the SE1000 at 100% intensity.
Also want to mention that ever since I switched to water soluble Advanced Nutrients pro series the growth, development, visual, size, resin, scent and flavor of the buds has been day and night. Also it lasts ALOT longer compared to their liquid bottles, this is the second grow using it.
Might have caused them to slow down bud growth, could be from light defoliation so late into flowering and also from under watering. Will see what happens from here but I have added the UVB light and will be starting that at mid day from lights on for 30 minutes before increasing to 2 hours by the end of flowering.
Nearing end of week 7 in flowering..these are bulking up nicely and weight is starting to cause branches to fall over. Light is so close and strong on some colas that the tops are bleaching..so I dialed the intensity down some.
Scent is starting to take over the house as well as outside even with new carbon filters.
Big beautiful frosty buds, the smell is kicking up and I’m starting to believe these carbon filters are not so effective. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but no amber. One of the Sour Diesel plant is my favorite bud structure and scent from the whole tent. The tall OG Kush in the center of the tent got some photobleaching which I took care of with dimming the light intensity! Have some Super Buff Cherry cuttings in the CloneKing rooting while these finish up to move into the tent already!
Started flushing these girls, have not checked trichomes this week. I don’t believe they are quite ready yet but I will update with pictures of trichomes soon. These are taking over the house indoors and out with strong exotics aromas! Will continue flushing for another week or so.
These were fun to grow, definitely did not expect it to grow so big under a 1000w light. One of them grew up to 4.5ft tall, along with some huge fist size buds which sadly also have some photobleaching maybe the size of a dime right on the top of them.
Flushed once heavily with FlawlessFinish and two weeks with PHd water, gave them over 24hrs of darkness and harvested 3 days after last flushing. Trichomes were very cloudy with nearly 5% amber and barely any clear. Trimmed lots of leaves off to not risk too much humidity since it’s a lot of plants drying in one tent.
Will update with dry weight!
Love this strain, will grow more on another run. Buds are nice size on these and one pheno is very frosty with nice bud structure, wish I would have taken a cutting.

These buds are decent size one pheno grew just as one I grew before and another pheno is more of my liking with the bud structure and frost. Gave them over 24hrs of darkness and harvested 3 days after last flush. Trimmed a lot of the leaves for more humidity control while drying.

The great and infamous Sour Diesel one of my favorites since I can remember. These plants have been fun to watch develop, one pheno is definitely how I would want these to grow, smell and look, hopefully the smoke is as well.

Was thinking of keeping the bottom larf of one pheno with intent to reveg but with the space, everything going on in the grow room, the time it might take to reveg and how difficult it was to bring all these down smh. That didn’t happen! After over 24hrs of darkness I harvested 3 days after last flush.

@BigDripFelgo, Hi there, when my plants stretch so much i put them in back row and i put lamp up the angle, so that side is of lamp is up and in front row where are shorter plants is same distance :)
