Blue Cheese a.k.a. Blueberry UK Chesse _ Winter in Germany
- First Grow with clones buyed in a headshop in the north of Germany
- Tried to do a lot of technics (LST , Fimming , Topping ) - way to much - most probably
- was using different types of soil (Plagron seeding and cutting soil - 3,5 l square plastic pots , Canna Terra Professional - 11 l square plastic pots and in the end BioBizz Light mix into 19 l fabric pots from AC Infinity
- I found watering difficult - that's why I bought drain master trays where I can check the EC and PH results in the drain much more easier
- after realizing that the fertiliziers I used where way to mixed up I decided to use only the BIOCANNA fertilizer to have the most constant and flexible way of growing the plant
- I also realized that the mixing of fertilizer is crap when you have to use shitty equipment
- the LED from AC Infinity (IONBOARD S33 - 240 Watt) - I used 70 % at the moment or in week 6
- Thoughts of today :
1) Co2 i am checking only but have no clue how to use it - first of all, i have to have the other things under control - Temperature, Watering , the use of Fertilizer , the Light , the Humidity and PH and EC - before I can start to start with Co2
2) Which substrate and which fertilizer is the best for me - I just ordered a different Fertilizer from US - the ATHENA BLOOM A + B and the ATHENA PK for the next stage (Flowering phase)
3) I already bought a dehumidifier from SPIDER FARMER so that I guess the humidity is under control
4) I am thinking about terms of growing or is a AUTOMATIC strain better than a photoperiod grow , quality and quantiy in a year
Unfortunately, the leaves are drooping and some of them have turned yellowish. I have now started spraying with calmag (BioBizz) and watering with water only for two watering sessions. (as my tap water has a PH value of 8, I have added PH- from CalMag, which adjusts the PH value to 6.2).
I am still confused as to what the problem could be. Light setting (possibly too high), CalMag from BioBizz is actually just citric acid, which may not be good for the plants - I ordered “Balance” from Athena to adjust the PH, as this consists of much better ingredients). It may be due to the substrate (I used Plagron Seeds soil during the seedling period, then in 11 l pots with Terra Professional Oraganic soil and then switched to 16 L BioBizz Light Mix - far too messy! )
Unfortunately there has been no improvement so far.
I will switch to the first flowering week as planned and start fertilizing with ATHENA Bloom A+B and PK.
Wow, my first grow and probably quite confusing.
Maybe you have some tips for me?
Thanks and greetings
Still bulking
Due to the fact the the drain is very high , I decided to water them only with cal mag and pk and a bit of trianchnol . Planned to do so only two times . Today is first shot with ec 1,2 only .
I tried to flush a bit and was watering with ec 1.2 only . I wonder why the drain is getting higher . I measured ec 8,1 in the drain . But the plants are still looking good . I leaned from the steering people that with coco they also have this high ec rate . I am surprised because I grow on normal soil : maybe it is because of having the right ec . That is 1,3
I decided in fw7 to give a bit less ec and lower the Temperatur . A big fault was that I tried to use a net to stabilize my plants . That was a fail move .
I removed the net but destroyed the trichomes. Now straightened with wires and hope that this method is better .
I hope that I do not more damage to harvest .
Actually I have only about 3 weeks
Today I am on the 50th day of flowering. The leaves are turning light green or almost yellow. I have learned that I may have problems with nitrogen or that this is normal for the genetics.
Unfortunately, I have now learned that the Athena fertilizer with soil should be used with caution. Yes, I had definitely noticed that. You should always use less than the Athena fertilizer plan. The fertilizer is more for crop steering on coco or rdwc / dwc systems .
Today was harvest day . (Flowering day 62) The wet weight is 2200 grams. Will now dry for about 7-9 days. Let's see how the weight is after trimming :)
