I'm starting here with a cutting (Amelie) that was taken from the last French Macaron about 2 months ago and has been standing on the windowsill until today with the support of a 7W LED.
The cutting has already grown well, has already been topped and LST has already been applied.
This is the first time I have tried the Biobizz Allmix.
Let's see how it does.
So far, Amelie has tolerated the soil very well.
If everything goes according to plan, I will be able to send Amelie into flower in about 2 weeks.
This week the French Macaron moved into the Low Buged tent to free up the other tent for the Runtz.
During the course of the week, the KST was carried out again to give the shoots growing in the centre the opportunity to exclude the larger ones.
If everything goes well, I will send them into flower after the 3rd week of growth.
Let's see...
Amelie coped well with the move to the small tent.
On Friday she was relieved slightly to allow a little more air circulation.
I took a cutting to secure the genetics.
Then I gave it 2 days rest before switching the light to 12/12 on Sunday to start flowering.
I plan to do the lollipopping in 2 weeks on Sunday.
Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week.
As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material.
This now had to come down.
On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy.
Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering.
Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering.
I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation.
As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste.
It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.
Nothing exciting to report this week, except for the small surprise that Amelie's French Macaron full of T.H. Seeds has started to tumble.
If Fußes' behaviour occurs again in the small 40 tent, I can assume that the initiation of this colour variant is probably triggered by the location in the bedroom.
Very nice!
Amelie develops into a purple beauty.
The stretch is now over after she has grown to a height of 50cm.
The flowers are developing well, although I have the feeling that she will take a little longer than her mother, which I grew in the large tent under a Migro Aray 2 and brought through flowering.
This one was pretty much ready after 7 weeks of flowering.
Here I think I will need the 8-9 weeks indicated.
In the meantime, I defoliated it a little, as it produces quite a lot of leaves and I wanted to create a little space in the small tent and make sure that the air circulation is guaranteed.
The cutting I took from Amelie is now well rooted and is already in the big tent, ready to grow a little more before it later goes into the small tent where Amelie is.
This cuttings will have something special to look forward to, as I will try to produce seeds using colloidal silver.
I would be very happy if that works, because this strain is worth it.
The purpling continues and gets stronger and stronger.
Mega!
It's really nice to see how well the French Macaron is doing.
The grow is completely problem-free.
The Biobizz Allmix soil is doing a good job, I have virtually no fungus gnats.
I can't detect any deficiencies, over-fertilisation or any diseases.
So I'm really looking forward to the results, as we're slowly approaching the finishing line and are about halfway through the flowering period.
As I still have some of the harvest from the mother in a jar, I can see how well the flavour and aroma have developed.
I would describe it as fruity, gassy and sweet in smell and fruity, floral and sweet in flavour.
Really a great strain that I can only recommend!
It smells of pink.
Amelie grows and thrives.
She has now completed her 6th week of flowering.
The creamy, spicy fragrance and the intense purple colour are already a dream.
Did I mention that I really like this strain?
Otherwise the week has been really unspectacular.
Amelie is thriving magnificently and is not causing any problems.
@BrediniGreeny, Danke Dir! Der Strain ist auch wirklich sehr lecker und ertragreich. Das ist ein Steckling von einem bei Growcologne gekauftem Stecki. Ich durfte also schon kosten.
