Highlux

I totally agree HighLux!! Diesel and OG hybrid and Daz at the wheel! Look out for something special. Bush is an understatement. Buds and side branches galore. Fan leaves have become long and slender representing her Diesel sativa side and rapid growth to match. It will be interesting to see how much she stretches. Attached is a picture of my HighLux At day 43, today.

Did you ever give her a trim?

I didn’t want to but on closer inspection it was one gooey mess in there. Had to keep ungumming my clippers every couple of snips. Gooey I think maybe an understatement. Could have stunted her a little but really had no choice some of the jungle needed tamed. Taken day 71

HighLux. Going to be a good one. Just the smell of the leaf at three weeks is crazy. My Chem91 is also pretty pungent for her age. How’s the fragrance of your plant. If this is any indication of what might be later during flower i may need a carbon filter at some point. lol😊

DrDank, Thank you for for the update. Sweet genetics wouldn’t you say. Mine has stretched to thirty-two inches and now is just growing buds. Seeing your plant look so fine just makes me want mine to look like yours and I know she will. HighLux day 57

HighLux! No complaints! She looks great. Frosty. Has she slowed down drinking, my girl went from 3 plus liters a day last week to under a liter and a half the past two days, day 86 today, lots of cloudy trichomes but no amber’s yet. How about yours?

so i see you grow in happy frog(my go to soil),(now my first coco grow)so when and if do you start to withhold nutrients, i believe i probably start cutting back too early in an attempt to reduce any unwanted flavors, ect..but perhaps i am causing more harm than good, not letting her get enough nutrients to steam role through the end... final thought, i was once told that when you think your plant is ready to be harvested, WAIT three more days!!! .. something i still have not been able to do to this very day.. i seriously lack patience... the HighLux has an incredible fade to black! trichomes so thick it's asif you spread them on like peanut butter

So it was about a year and a half ago when I was in my local WTG store when I inquired about the growing world of autoflowers. I had already grown six plants auto’s from some fly by night breeder that had both intrigued me and left me frustrated. Intriguing was how they entered flower all on their own. Frustrating was that they all hermied. So fascinated by their ability to flower in as little as three weeks, and harvest in as little as eight weeks had me wanting to explore growing more auto’s with better genetics. This is were my romance with Night Owl was born. The guys at WTG turned me on to the wonderful world of Daz and his autoflower creations. So fast forward and I have two currently growing. Chem91 And HighLux. I must say that I am impressed by the HighLux Stretch , canopy, flowers, vegetation.Wow! So I looked back at your old diaries and the HighLux seems to be your largest N. O. To date. You have grown a lot of Mephisto obvious you like growing autoflowers as do I. The Chem91 is kind of a mystery. When germinating her I placed her in paper towels Sunday evening in hopes that when I checked on them Tuesday she might be cracking through her husk. ( needed to prepare the pots with coco that I was going to pick up in town Tuesday). Prepared the pots with Canna coco coir and grabbed the germinating seeds. Opened the paper towels and holy shit the Chem91 had a tap root approaching one and a half inches in about 36 hours. I had to be so gentle The HighLux was just breaking through her shell. I think the Chem91 got stunted by the tap root getting shocked. So anyway the grow is going well at this point and will be doing some targeted defoliation a little at a time . Do not want to stunt anything .

What about the frost! Holy smokes. Pun intended. The large fan leaves are completely covered in trichomes as are the ones on my HighLux. I mean the flowers aren’t that developed yet, just little balls of pistils,stamens and l the fan leaves, no sugar leaves yet, have trichomes on them. If you notice I capitalize the H and the L out of respect for such a pretty plant. I just love the canopy she has made for herself, almost perfectly aligned naturally.
