So I’ve been pestered into running the last of my Sour Crinkles, it’s been a minute since I last ran an Auto 😸🤷♂️
Apparently it was a good one, I honestly can’t remember as it was over two years ago and I’ve grown a few since then.
I had three seeds left out of the pack of seeds I bought (you get 5 in a three pack) I grew the first seed, the second was gifted to a friend.
Really happy with the germination, had them in storage for years.
I soaked all three seeds in some dechlorinated tap water. After 12 hours the seeds had settled at the bottom.
I planted them into some of those Root Riot cubes (trying them out for the first time).
All three seeds have germinated after two days. Thought it may take a little longer as I wasn’t using a heat mat, but they popped fine.
I haven’t just decided on how big the pots I’m going to use yet, but that will all be sorted out by the next update 🤦♂️🤷♂️

I’ve potted them all up into their final pots.
I’ve put two of them in 10 litre pots with the hope that they use the space and grow to a decent size.
The other has been put into a one gallon pot as just a little side project.
They’ve all had a bit of a weak nutrient feed, this will continue for the foreseeable future.

All three plants are continuing to grow at a good rate, not seeing any signs of preflower which is nice.
I’ve tied down the #3 as it was the shortest, stockiest plant of the three.
I plan on eventually lowering stress straining all of them at some point during veg/early flower.
I’ve increased the amount of nutrients that they are all receiving, this will continue for the foreseeable future.

It all depends on how much space I have and how many plants I have growing, but I should be able to put them straight into their final pots from these cubes.
I’m just unsure as to whether or not I want to grow them big or keep them small. I’ve considered putting one in a tiny pot and make it a bonsai.
I feel I’d be doing my mate and myself a disservice if I didn’t grow at least one of them to a decent size, these are the last of the seeds and I don’t plan on buying anymore.
Sour Crinkle’sby Mephisto Genetics sounds like a good one. I see we are using the same medium coco and canna nutes and some similar breeding styles with mine being the Night Owl side of things. My first grow in coco coir instead of soil so it’s been a little tricky but am getting better at it. I use well water so have not used any calmag up til now. The girls are doing fine but maybe not as pretty as they could be. I would appreciate if you would check out my Chem91 and HughLux grow and give me back any suggestions that you might notice I could improve on.

All three look very similar at this point which is always nice 😸 as for how sativa leaning they are it’s a bit early to judge 🤷♂️but I’ve seen bigger fatter leaves in my time and theirs are considerably thinner so 🤷♂️😸

the tent is 40 x 40 x 80. the light is 36 x 36.75 x 3.75, do not have an elaborate heating, cooling, carbon filter fan system taking up the top eighteen inches , so i will able to raise the light to maybe around 72 inches and still be able to evacuate any heat produced by the light as the light puts off minimal heat at around 100 degrees F. at one hundred percent power (NextLight Mega Pro) that i picked up brand new for an amazing
0.00 bucks!!! it is a lot of light in a small space but at that price i could not pass it up. sorry took a toke a few minutes ago and now i am rambling on. she is an autoflower with OGKush and Sour Diesel parents so there is a high probability of a decent stretch. but if that is the case bring it on, i prefer bigger as to smaller anyway. thanks for your thoughts and happy gardening

I’m well informed and have done research on Night Owl seeds, I know they’re an offshoot from Mephisto Genetics and that they produce some quality looking strains.
