The problem with the 'bumpy' leaves seems to have corrected itself and I'm glad I did not ditch this Double Grape. I've beefed up the nute load and she is gobbling it up with no apparent bad effects.

2/13-Did a real trim this time at first sign of preflower and stretch. After a shaky start she is looking healthy and up to 14" tall. Switching to Bloom nutes now. 2/16-When I switched to Bloom nutes I messed something up. The big leaves are getting brown and curling. Looks like some kind of nute burn. I flushed it until the EC was around 0.6. Hopefully that will end the toxicity before it impacts the whole plant. 2/18-Over the last couple of days I got rid of the leaves that were affected with nute burn. After the flushI watered with a very light solution of bloom nutes and will increase gradually. This morning it looks like the plant is stabilizing albeit with alot less big leaves to work. Fortunately, I've got 6 or 7 weeks for the plant to hopefully recover. We'll see how she does.

After switching to Bloom nutes in week 5 I notice that the big leaves are turning yellowish/brown and curling a bit. What's the issue and what is the fix?

i would guess that "bloom nutes formula" wasn't as good as advertised. probably too much p or k. i see your other question posted with 3 more pictures, but leaf symptoms are not discrete. That's usually what gets blasted in a "bloom" formula not based in science. node spacing looks fairly leggy at the top, so i'm a bit skeptical about light being the cause. 24/0 is only wise if it is required to give good amounts of DLI, i.e. if you have a weak light it can be a net-positive compared to 18h and 3/4ths the DLI. Might be teh cause of the tacoing, but the health of the leaves seem nutrition-related because it's not just the top leaves from being hammered by photons.

My guess would be either being on 24hr light schedule, so no rest time. To high an amount of nutes. Or the defoliation earlier in the week.

2/19-She seems to be recovering now from nute burn last week. Chopping off the dead leaves and flushing her thoroughly seems to have stabilized the plant. No new burn observed. Now let's see if she's got one more comeback in her. 2/21-She's seems back on track. Grew a couple of inches to 21 inches now. Color has come back. Buds are starting to develop. 2/25-At the end of 6 weeks she is growing (up to 24 inches) nicely. No more yellow tips. Buds are starting to shape up nicely. She's starting to get a little stink on. She seems nicely setup for a good close.

2/28-She's still stretching and is up to 27 inches now. Starting to see some trichomes now. Buds are starting to stack and take shape. 3/2-Up to 29 inches. Starting to get frosty now with a pungent smell from the tent! 3/4-Another great week of growth. Still stretching. Up to 30 inches. Flowers are really getting frosty and stacking nicely. The next 4 weeks should be fun to see how she closes the deal.

3/7-She continues to make progress. I cut some of the buds on the bottom of the plant to get more energy up top. No adverse affects noted. 3/11-Buds are starting to fatten up and getting frosty.

3/14-Buds continue to develop nicely. They are getting really frosty now as well. First signs of pistils turning orange. 3/18-Buds are doing nicely except that I would like to see a lot more density. Trichomes are starting to get milky. I think we've got 3 weeks left to fatten up.

3/21-Every day a little more frost and density. The last couple of days have been sunny and warm so I've given the DG some time outdoors to soak up the sun's rays. 3/23-Added a side light today as a little experiment to see if I can lower buds to max out. 3/25-Buds are getting more dense. The side light is definitely helping firm up the mid level buds. Based on the color of the trichomes I think she's got another 7-10 days left.

3/29-Side lighting is definitely helping firm up all the mid to lower buds and building some density. These buds are not going to be huge but as long as they are dense and potent that will work for me. I'm going to let them go to day 77 and then start flush and prepare for harvest. A couple of days ago the top bud got broken so I put that one in the Cannatrol dry/cure unit for 8 day cycle so I'll get a little preview of how the plant is shortly. 3/30-Trichomes are really starting to turn amber all over the plant from low to high 3/31-Getting close now. Starting the flush today.

WOW.The full line up from advanced, that must cost a pretty penny. There was a time when I used several bottles from advanced but half of it isn't needed and theres better products out thefe that do the same thing. The voodoo juice, pirahna, bud candy and sensizym can be swapped for Ecothrives Biosys or Recharge which has it all in for a freaction of the price. The B52 is great but that and rhino skin can be swapped for house and gardens amino treatmetn which has both of those and more in it and its 6 times stringer at 0.3ml per litre.Iv swapped the bud ignitor for budhas tree flower burst which is the same but its half the price. All your food is science based on cannabis plants unliek most other foods, the boosters like bud ignitor are really mild sit wont be too much.Theres only the sensi bloom and bud ignitor that has nutrition in it the others are stimulants. It could be too much light in terms of daily light and the 24hrs being too much.I always gave my autos a couple of hours break in flower, the lights and fans need it to.If advanced says you can give you plant it then you can take that to the bank.Check all info given on here as I constantly see incorrectr info given. It certainky wont be too much pk.I was going to say it wasn't enough pk for the first 2wks of flowering before I saw the B.I.Thers certainly something to be said for the KISS aproach.Keep It Simple Stupid which is why Im down to 3 bottles add the od one now and again.

I think you are right about keeping it simple. I got too aggressive with the bloom mix which I believe caused the browning and curling. Once I cut the affected leaves and flushed her thoroughly things seem to stabilize. I've also adjusted light schedule back to 19/5.
