Lobo_420 Hello Growdiaries community, I'm glad you came to my diary. After a long time, I'm growing photoperiod strains again. I also want to adhere to the legal requirements and will only be taking this shot with 3 ladies. I plan to fim the ladies and apply LST using 40l plant bags that I will fill with clay pebbles and also leave a good edge at the top (the pot has eyelets for LST at the top). Mathematically, about 31l of volume will remain. I have chosen the strains Oreoz, White Truffle, and Permanent Marker from Linda Seeds for this project. Enjoy my diary!

Lobo_420 Hello, in the second week after 5 days, I repotted the little ones into their pots. Here they also received fertilizer for the first time. The LED is hanging about 25 cm above their heads and is running at 50% power.

Lobo_420 Today I rolled up some White Truffle and Permanent Marker, and since Oreoz got really bushy, I decided to top it instead. Also, it's been years since I used these methods, so it's good to see the difference for myself again. This way, I can internalize it for the next projects.

Lobo_420 Hey everyone, The plants responded really well to the trimming. After 3 days, White Truffle and Permanent Marker started growing again. Oreoz began to grow again on the 4th day after the topping. What’s really interesting is that Oreoz now has not just 2 but 3 new heads 😁. I hope they stretch enough this week so I can start tying them down.

Lobo_420 This week I ran everything better again and optimized or supplemented the binding in some places. Unfortunately, due to an update from the lamp, the time change to 12 hours was a bit tricky, but since Thursday and with an additional analog timer, everything is running optimally again now.

Lobo_420 The week went smoothly, all the plants are developing beautifully. At the end of the week, I will optimize the ties for the last time and remove a few more leaves so that the flowers get better light.

Lobo_420 I will be removing some leaves throughout the week that are giving too much shade to the buds. Otherwise, everything looks good, no deficiencies. So far, I find the new Biobizz line to be good.

Lobo_420 The ladies are starting to get really thirsty now. I've removed some lower leaves. Otherwise, they look very good; I couldn't find any problems or deficiencies. The temperatures outside are slowly becoming disruptive to the indoor climate. I still need to find a good solution since summer has just begun, and the next season is expected to start in mid-June when these are done.

Grow Questions
Lobo_420
Lobo_420started grow question 1y ago
Have you had experiences with harvesting only part of a plant? How does the plant react to that? It's always said not to remove too many leaves, especially during flowering, otherwise it gets stressed. I've never had issues removing plant parts, but so much this late?

Hi, I've harvested in stages a few times, mainly because the lower buds are often not as ripe as the upper ones. And I don't want too many amber trichomes on the upper ones, I've never had any problems; at this point, your humidity should be pretty low anyway to prevent mold in the buds, so there shouldn't be any issues where you cut. If you're worried about them being hermies, I've never had that either, especially since there's usually only a week between the first and second harvest, and they don't develop seeds that quickly.

Lobo_420 This week I'll take a look at the resin. I can't find any deficiencies. I'm curious about the result. I think the trimming will be exhausting.

Lobo_420 They are only getting water now. Under the microscope, you can see that the resin isn't quite finished yet. I'll check again on Wednesday. Possibly next Sunday, the cutting can begin.
