Tried the glass of water and h2o2 mixture method this time, but transferred to a towel after 24 hours with the seed still floating as I was worried to drown the seed. After another 24 hours in the towel the seed was visibly opening, so I planted it into coco with the white showing facing downwards. A third day later the leaves burst the soil.

Watering every 48 hours currently. Plant has taken to early life very well and is growing fast. Potted up to a 5 gallon fabric pit from a 3gallon pot as soon as the leaves could reach the edges of the smaller pot, and had no issues. Slowing increasing nute concentration with every watering up to the manufacturers recommendation or the plant shows signs of needing less.

Very smooth run so far, touch wood :) Transplanted up from 3 gallon to 5 gallon once the leaves reached the pot edges, not roots had reached the edges yet so managed minimal disruption and had no pause in growth. I have just started the first bit of LST, hoping to get a shorter canopy than the last grow and ideally 2 main colas.

Huge amount of growth in the third week :) Very happy with how the plant is taking shape, LST early has allowed the main stem to lean over and a second shoot, almost as thick already, to split off from it. This is forming a Y shape with the plant and in the week after this one has clearly formed a more table shaped top of plant section.

More rapid growth this week :) things still running very smoothly. Had a couple of issues with the tent humidifier, so the plant was exposed to some low humidity for a few hours a couple of times, but has tanked through without signs of issue (except a few crispy leaf tips). Still sticking away from defoliation this run, as I have only one plant going instead of 3 so just don’t really need to. I’ve been able to use leaf tucking and LST to get light to most of the new node sites, and to spread out the plant structure.

Very explosive week of growth in week 5 :) I’ve stuck to leaf tucking to get light to new nodes and shoots within the bulk of the plant, as well as LST to try and widen the plant top, but this beast is so bushy that I’ve not been able to get light to everything. I’ve done some very light defoliation of dying leaves around the base of the plant, mainly to make watering a bit easier and so nothing drops and rots.

Huge amount of growth in week 6. In this week I needed to defoliate small handfuls every few days but she is still is getting a little bushy - I foresee some more serious trimming necessary to come.
