MICROGROW WeedSeedsExpress LSD Auto + Biotabs Just Add Water Indoor
There is one free slot in the grow tent - this had to be changed. As my seeds didn't survive the last move, I was very grateful to receive two varieties sponsored by WeedSeedsExpress: LSD and Permanent Marker. Thank you very much! These are the smallest seed packets I've ever seen! :D
This time I'm starting with LSD, I strain I like a lot.
After 6 days the seed hatched. It gets my biggest air pot (thanks to Mia!), because I've found that bigger pots - in soil - mean better conditions. It's also easier to do low stress training with it.
My first grow with Bio Tabs was a sensational success - it was incredible to see excellent results with so little effort. So this grow will also go with Bio Tabs again - due to the size of the pot there are 3 tabs this time.
The ‘Just Add Water’ strategy consists of first mixing the ‘Startrex’ and ‘Silicium Flash’ powders into the soil, then adding a teaspoon of ‘Mycotrex’ to a hole and, after sowing the seeds, soaking the soil with a ‘Bactrex’ water mixture (1 teaspoon of Bactrex per litre). And that's it; the whole thing takes 10 minutes and fertilising is done for the rest of the grow.
As a substrate, I'm using the T.A. light mix again, which is without peat and has perfect conditions for cannabis.
There is no prefabricated Lego figure that fits the name ‘LSD’ well - so I made one myself. :D
Let's go!
Exactly one week ago it had just barely emerged from the soil, so it's probably no wonder that it's not as big as other plants at one week - but let's wait and see.
Another unknown plant is peeking out of my air pot. How cute! But the pot is huge (20 litres) and maybe it won't get enough water at the beginning to stay for long.
No new fertilizers or boosters, that has all happened right before planting.
HIATUS
I apologise - this diary will have to take a short break. I suspect that something fell on the tender sprout at the start of the grow. Anyway, this plant didn't grow at all for quite a long time, and now it has reached a kind of bonsai status: there are several pairs of leaves, but they are tiny and have very little space between the nodes. Instead of throwing the plant away, I planted it in an equally tiny pot - only a mere 3 litres. A new seed of the same variety went into the large pot (a full 20 litres). As soon as it has germinated and grown a bit, I'll post updates here again. Stay tuned!
Well, well, well. I was actually planning on interrupting this journal until the next LSD seed was up in the same week. That didn't work out - unfortunately I had no luck germinating it. Next time I'll definitely use a Root Riot Cube or similar; maybe it had something to do with the soil mix.
Instead of letting this journal go to waste now, I'll keep it going for the mini plant I put in a pot of a mere 3.8 litres and call it a microgrow. Clever, isn't it?
The plant has perked up pretty well, as you can see. It only has one fertiliser tab. Let's see how that turns out!
@Biotabs, unfortunately, it's an auto! She looks like a miniature version in her little 3,5l pot. I tried another seed, but it didn't germinate. Now I think I will continue this journal with the little one - and only 1 biotab. Let's see how far this will get us...
