She took 5 days to pop but she’s finally here. Temps are 70-75 F dayti and 66 F at night. I’m on a 20/4 schedule with my 100W light at 60%. I have her under a humidity dome currently and the humidity inside the tent is 70-72%.
This week she’s looking a bit light green. I planted into a pocket of plain coco but I don’t think I made the pocket deep enough. I think its roots have made it to the amended coco. I also think the soil may be a bit hot and I’m hoping that she’ll grow into it and it will resolve itself. First time I’ve had this problem with a seedling so we will see what happens. Watered with 3 tablespoons of distilled water twice this week and it’s been under a dome.
Just watering plain water ph to between 6-7. The light green in the leaves has gone away and it looks like it’s taking up the nutrients well. I was worried the soil was too hot because I forgot to reduce the amount of amendments and gave it full strength but I don’t see any burning so we will see how it goes. Nothing really to report since I’m growing organic. Just plain water for at least another week before I amend the soil. Oh, I got a humidifier finally and it’s working out great! Got the VPD dialed in and it has made a huge difference in the overall health of the plant.
Did some light defoliation this week. Trimmed off the lowest branches. Been giving water ph between 6.5-7.0. Had some yellowing in the lowest leaves and I think I did overfeed when I mixed up the medium. I mixed in the amendments at full strength instead of reducing them to account for the autoflower. I didn’t realize this until the leaves started to burn and I went back and checked my notes. Hopefully it’ll grow into it and it won’t be a problem for much longer.
