Jwil1710 This is my 20th day after popping out the soil. I did 24hrs light for the first week and a half then 18/6 This is my first grow I'm learning. I see some folks say day 20 and it has 4 sets of leaves I haven't come that far yet but am learning. That being said I have 3 Afghans from I.L.G.M. which I find out has bad Genetics and sometimes get the seeds mixed up. So I have several more strains fron RQS That I'm going to get into after this first grow. So I can get acclimated to growing and not mess my others up hopefully won't mess these

Ph drift, a bit hot soil and watering regime issue. Soil needs wet/dry cycle. I see magnesium issues starting from wrong watering regime too.

Hi, to me it looks like thrips. These are tiny, winged insects that feed on the cells of plant leaves and can cause significant damage. They are often difficult to detect because they are very small and move quickly. Here are some signs of thrips infestation: Silvery or white spots on the leaves caused by the plant sap being sucked. Black droppings on the leaves. Distorted or stunted leaves. To control thrips, you can take the following measures: Check leaves regularly: Look for the signs mentioned above. Spray plants with water: This can help wash away the thrips. Use natural enemies: Predatory mites or lacewing larvae can help control thrips. I always do this, even if I don't have a problem, as a preventative measure. It's available on Amazon. And your pH level should be slightly lowered to 6.5. You can either buy pH down and water it, or make your own lemon mixture. For 1 liter of water, you can use 0.5 to 1 teaspoon of citric acid powder to lower the pH by about 1 point.

Ph above 7 with bring bacteria into the soil and be dominant fungi will struggle you need diversity within the soil ye but will be hard to gather the nutes she wants out of the ph range... soil looks very compact but hard ro tell on pics.... Hope this helps. Inbox me if you need help... Happy farming..

First thing to do is address your pH.........a pH of 7.5 is waaaaay too high..........aim for somewhere around 6.4 for soil growing. I can't see any evidence of insect damage or "destroyed" leaves in these pictures, only white residue from the sprays you used. Maybe post some clear close up pictures of what exactly it is that is bothering you. Also, never water to a schedule and never water every day "just because".........water the entire pot until run off then do not water again until the top 3-4 cm / inch to inch and a half, have dried out again then repeat. A wet/dry cycle is the proper way to water. Each plant will have its own water needs, some will dry out faster like those nearest the fan and other will stay wetter longer..........so giving evey plant X amount every Y hours is not the way to do it. You will need to monitor each pot and water accordingly. Ditto for feeding. Unfortunately, you have created a big problem for yourself by growing so many plants for your first grow..........hopefully you can keep everything well up to date and well detailed in your diary, in case you need further questions resolved. All in all your plants look quite alright.........new grower nerves, over thinking and wanting to get everything perfect can be a trap.

Here's some pics of the girls out of the grow light so you may see what I'm talking about leaf damage (pests) Ph for the 8 of them run from the lowest 6.96 to the highest 7.46. My apera ec60 is going ppt instead of ppm highest is 1.87ppt lowest 1.05 Ec highest 4.69 lowest 2.09

yes, you can ph-balance it by adding slightly more acidic water. Be aware that the "middle" is not tthe middle point because pH is a log scale base 10. Seven is "0", conceptually or equal parts proton donators (acids) and acceptors (bases) canceling each other out. So, don't go too far below where you want it, because 7.46 isn't to alkaline to start. Start with 5.5-6ph while checking it as you go. living soil will always be a seemingly high EC. (TDS pens don't measure ppm or ppt, they convert from EC and it's totally inaccurate. there are 4 or 5 conversion factors that are whimsically used be various manufacturers, i.e. whimsical chioce = not acurate or precise). It is consistent though, and that can be a useful tool with time and familiarity... when times are good, learn that baseline EC/ppt readings and that's your target in future. 1000-1800 ppm (just multiplying by 10^3 to convert, shift decimal 3 spots right) is probably fine for living soil, but the ratios are the likely adjustments you need to make - somethign you can't really do midstream with living soil. you'll have to constitute it / amend it differently next time. hopefully supplemental fertilizer can even it out. More perlite... with a heavy soil you want 50% perlite or similar. Vermiculite #3 is a great option too. Looks like a bad ratio of nutes and probably a releasing a bit too fast causing a hot soil. This is about how the soil was built.

IDK if this is pests anymore. Maybe pets.... Do you have a pet "cat, dog, bird, lizzard?" that likes to much on leaves? Sometimes I have found when I am over watering my plants the leaves grow in all weird and stupid because the roots are not getting enough air exchange aka oxygen and its causing defects in the new growth. This is what it looks like to me with the new pics. and the medium does look a bit to wet. Or something is chewing them or damageing them when they younger and this is the after math. PH of 6.96-7.46 is a bit on the high side. May want to try and lower that down to around 6.5-6.8, some PH down should work just fine. EC of 2.09-4.96 is a wide range. Means some plants are overfed and others are happy. I don't like to see my EC go above 3 tbh. but I have limited experience growing with liquid nutrients I use a lot of amendments. I think you need to manage the watering issues and things will start to come back to normal. With soil grows it works best if its water/feed/water/feed not feed feed feed like hydro setups. A bit of runoff always helps prevent buildup as well, but I find most soils hold onto way to much water and getting run off over saturates them and add issues. Let them dry out a bit more. add in more airflow into the tent or room they are in. and only give them PH'd water next time it is needed.

Leaves have dried up feels like paper and I think a piece of leaf flaked off earlier and I have a pest problem as well. But they have good structure and nodes are stacked on most of them
