27/1: Germinated the seeds by placing them in a moist paper towel, then in a small container for 2 days to pop
30/1: Seedlings are ready to be placed in small plastic cups with Light Mix and watered 75ml with ph ~6.2
04/02: Seedlings developed a good root system in just 4 days so I'm transplanting to 19L pots. Decided to use an airpot for the Silver Haze just out of curiosity, to see if they make any difference. Watered 2L with Ph ~6.5 and 2ml/L Rhizotonic. Currently testing ph with drops until my multimeter arrives, so I can't give exact measures for now.
08/02: Waiting for them to pick up pace. Thinking about topping them in a few days.
18/02: Plants are looking healthy. Strapped down the two main stems.
22/02: Snapped the main stem in half to stress the plant and to keep it as low as possible and also defoliated. Unwillingly I topped Ayahuasca's left end but I don't think it will affect growth. Curious to see how it'll turn out
24/02: Plants are looking good and strong. Watered 3L each with 4ml/L Rhizotonic and 1ml/L CalMag. Performed HST by pinching the main lines to grow thicker and stronger.
26/02: Slight discoloration and rust spots appeared on new leaves. I'm guessing it's because of the bad water quality(TDS 734ppm, EC 1.468μs/cm) + the calmag from the previous watering left many built-up salts in the soil, so the plants couldn't get their calcium.
27/02: Watered 3L each with better quality water (TDS 364ppm, EC 578μs/cm). No nutrients. Defoliated again cuz it was a mess.
05/03: Temps are getting high. Watered 4L with 2ml/L Bio Vega. Photos were taken after watering, hence the curly leaves. I think I might need to ScrOG.
07/03: Looking extra. Ayahuasca is on fire. Added ScrOG net. Also defoliated.
15/03: Watered 5L, no nutrients, Ph 6.3
16/03: Leaves are curling down, probably overwatered. Also some rusty spots appeared on Sour Strawberry. I'll flush next time & give calmag. Night temps are high bc of poor room ventilation.
20/03: Ayahuasca's (left) and Strawberry's (right) leaves are curling down about 4 days due to the dense soil which doesn't let roots to breathe. Or prob a nutrient lockout. I'll flush both of them with 10L ph6.2. Im also gonna add 0.5ml Calmag in the last liter of water bc i see Calcium deficiencies on both of them. To my surprise the runoff water's ph was about 7.50 - 8.00. The built up salts affected the soil's ph. That's a major problem but can't do much right now.
21/03: Waterd Shining Silver (center) 5L with 0.5ml/L CalMag and 2ml/L Bio Vega. Silver Haze doesn't have any root problems because of the Airpot
