For an overview, this grow started out with 2, 100W LED Lights in a Lamp Fixture. It was soon upgraded to a Mars 720W Reflector in a 2X4X8 closet space. The soil used is a mix of 2/3 Ocean Forest, 1/3 Happy Frog, extra Perlite, and Peat Moss for drainage. The closet has one large 20Inch. Fan directed upwards to move air, along with an oscilating 10 inch fan leveled at the canopy to cool. One more 120MM fan is placed at the top of the room to provide an air intake and push fresh air into the room. Typical daily temperatures reach around 85 degrees F. in the room, Humidity stays around 45-55%

If someone could look at the two leaves I removed (pictured first) I would like someones opinion on whether this is Tobacco Mosaic Virus, or some mutation.

I looked at the leaves they look like they got a virus , but not the Tobacco Mosaic , sometimes it happens to the best of them man every plant on this planet catches virus's . There isnt much you can do about it its just something thats going to happen . Some plants are more susceptible to it then others even some of the same strain . Just keep an eye on it and remove the leaves as it happens . Even if you left the leaves it wouldnt do any harm to your plant infact at the end of your plants life cycle might even look cooler cause it will have some white in it haha . I hope this information helps you understand that virus's come in all shapes and forms and that when it comes its just really an "abnormality" some plants are even bread to have virus in them like lillys and other flowers . Other then that your garden looks like its rocking and rollin . - Happy Growing!

Grow room is now fully enclosed, added an intake fan at the top of the closet to pull in fresh air, added an oscilating fan as well to improve airflow. 3 Fans total pushing air in, air naturally seeps out so thats not a worry for exhaust.

Happy to see my first and only Glueberry clone has taken good roots and is now growing healthy new shoots. As this is only a 2X4 grow space, the smaller Frisian Dew, Stunted Glueberry, and Glueberry clone are going to be placed outside to continue growing. Hopefully they will not flower and I can continue to veg/clone them at my will.

After flushing and feeding the Frisian, and the larger glueberry, they are both responding well and had their first dose of Flowering nutes. Plan to do the same for the mottled girl in the back. Soil PH was a bit high @ 7.2, hence the flush and use of PH down and Sledgehammer, needed to be done anyhow since they now getting that sweet tiger bloom Also want to give a shout out to the people manufacturing Eco-MyC Mycorrhiza. Have used in every transplant and clone in soil and have had 100% success on everything I've tried to root. Most times roots appear in less than 5 days. On top of which it is an amazing supplement, my plants were super hungry from the get-go and very efficiently ate every last drop. Root structures grow fast, I was transplanting every 2 weeks almost.

Outdoor plants are moving along nicely, stymied an small invasion of about 40-50 lubber grasshopper bastards, not looking forward to their cousins. The first clone I took is showing flowers (damnit), considering setting up a small 24/7 light cabinet for other clones. Indoor Girls are doing well, every one of them is now at ph 7 or lower after flush and feeds. Some very slightly burnt tips on the bigger glueberry, hopefully this was all sorted with the flush. Not quite full flowering just yet on her, the Frisian girl however is exploding with pistils and is the only one on it's second true week of flowering.

Looking healthy all over. Flowers are exploding. Edit: Earlier this week i started noticing purple stems on the Frisian Girl, ordered some CalMag to correct the Calcium deficiency, started showing rust spots on upper leaves now too, hoping that CalMag + will do the trick and keep her on track. The Glueberry girls have not shown any sign of deficiency and have been given the same nutrients.

Just gave the Frisian girl a good dose of CalMag+, hopefully that will help her calcium issue here, she's not sprouting trichomes as fast as the Glueberries, however the Frisian does have really tightly packed nodes which will lead to some gigantic buds i think. Oddly enough the Glueberry with the *mottled virus* is perfectly healthy and matching the other *Healthy* glueberry, minus a about a foot in height. Shit tons of pistils on everyone, getting thicker by the day.

Starting off week 5 with a flourish of amazing smells from the "mottled" Glueberry, her terpenes have come in the strongest so far with SWEET Berry smells. The bigger glueberry is still borderline fruity, mostly skunk and diesel. The Frisian Dew is a bit lacking in the trichome department, have a feeling it had to do with that week it suffered calcium deficiency I feel like 31 more days and its Chop chop time.

I was debating whether or not to prune lower branches on the glueberry that are impossible to get light to and are tiny sad little things. Would it be too late 30 days into flower to effect any change in the buds, or would it give me slightly better yield?

If it's nearly impossible to get light on the lower buds then it will be nearly impossible to have a good yield from them , you're halfway so do it and I think it will not slow your plant and could improve your yield

Going into week 6 now, anxious to get past this final stretch. So much so that I trimmed a nug off the mottled glueberry, de-carbed the bud at 200deg F for 30 mins, left me with a pleasant psychoactive buzz and uplifting high for at least 30 mins. So many trichomes on them, just need to keep fattening up. Going to be feeding full strength over next week before the final two week flush, hoping she can handle it.

Flushing for the next two weeks only giving them RO PH'd water. Outdoor plants have amazing resin production but weak on the denseness of buds, will make for an good extract or cannabutter. Harvest date for indoor plants is set at Apr. 30th, Outdoor plants may 12th Indoor *mottled* glueberry still has those sweet berry terpenes, however the center and bigger glueberry still only has the diesel and skunk notes. Frisian dew indoor is not that great, definitely not suited for this environment for how bushy she gets and temperatures, moved her outside with the other frisian and moved the glueberry clone inside. That frisian is going to be a garbage 5% thc yield, very sickly plant. I've got two more seeds of Frisian to pop and a Blue Dream Fem seed, going to start them here mid - late may and have a nice outdoor summer crop and keep the Blue Dream indoor *Early Trim Smoke Report* So the small branch I snipped and hung earlier this week was dry enough to smoke a real sample. Let me know she's right on time with finishing here in 10 days, trichs were about 50% cloudy 45% clear 5% amber

Technically i'm 3 days into week 8, will be harvesting everyone looks like on time around the 31st of April. More updates to come **Update 4/27: Both indoor glueberries are still not ready, upon further inspection of the trichomes, about 60% clear, 40% cloudy, little to no amber. Increased the dark time from 12 to 13, hopefully that will help speed along her maturity. Maybe 1-2 more weeks i think, will still continue flush plus molasses cha and bigbloom. **Update 4/29: Outdoor plants are showing mostly milky trichs, hopefully indoor plants will get there by the end of the week and i can cut and dry. Really gonna try hard not to fuck up drying and curing. Going to be using the same grow closet for stringing up the bud lines and drying everything, already has great ventilation and I wont be starting another crop until next month Kind of worried about temperatures: Throughout my grow, i've had temperatures range from 71-86 degrees constant, however during the day i fear i will be unable to keep to that threshold where terpenes are preserved below 75 constant. Outdoor plants are actually further along, the stunted glueberry out there is showing mostly cloudy trichomes as well as the smaller frisian is looking cloudy with a slight touch of amber, will be chopping her down at the end of the week. If i didn't say it before, the one older Frisian Dew got sick when it was inside, i thought it might spread disease so i moved it outside to finish, what i ended up with was a sad sack of crap chopped down to be saved for possible ice hash..

Small sample batch, chopped most of the outside Frisian Dew, trichomes were a nice solid cloudy/hints of amber. Inside glueberries are at about 70% cloudy 30% clear right now, they will be harvested most likely by sometime next week. Nugs pictured free hanging on top are the Mottled glueberry, amazing trichome coverage and dense as all hell. Outside glueberry is also verry close to finish, think i will take them all inside to go into 48 hour dark stage on Monday. Conditions in my area for Drying are somewhat adequate, average humidity is 45-55% , gonna be paying a bit extra on electricity bill to get that air cooled to at least 77 during the day and 69 at night.' ** Update 5/3: Snipped a bud off of each Glueberry today, each has a majority of milky white trichomes will be going into dark stage tomorrow night, harvesting probably tuesday 5/7 for the glueberry ladies. Harvested the smaller Frisian Dew outside, maybe like an oz. off of her, lol. The smoke is pleasant though, very rich with trichomes despite not being not dense at all **Update 5/5: After some personal experimentation with the Glueberry O.G. Strain, the first thing I noticed when conducting a smoke report was that the effect of "the munchies" was completely absent, and had made me less hungry as a matter of fact. I went to look up more information on this, and found a company grew this strain, sent it in to be tested, and was found to have a small percentage of THC-V (.033%). I have further confirmed my suspicions from other posters and growers of this strain who have said the same exact things, it gets you high as a kite, but will make you not even want to think about a doughnut or piece of pizza, quite the opposite, it makes your appetite go away, not in a bad way mind you. It is a comforting buzz, that isn't interrupted by the digestion of foods that your body would otherwise need to redirect its efforts in metabolizing. I personally just grew this strain because i was given 3 free feminized seeds of Glueberry O.G. in my order. It turned out to by the show stopper of all of my plants with Giant, Resinous Buds stacked to the brim with bulbous stalked trichomes, and to top it off a lovely sweet berry taste and smell. (Mind you only one plant achieved this pheno, the other two had a mostly skunk/partial berry flavor/smell, put potent nonetheless. Back to the THC-V, I was not even aware this was a component in THC as I had never experienced that effect from cannabis before until the Gluberries finally came into maturity and became smoke-worthy. After just a few puffs, I was lit as a Christmas tree, at a high tolerance mind you, a swath of cotton mouth, some Euphoria, a general feeling of relaxation and calm, lower anxiety, and a deep desire to avoid food unless necessary.

The two indoor strains were relatively easy to grow, and buds were quality as far as trichome, resin, and terpene production. The smoke is interesting, gives you a wave of comfort and a bit of euphoria, definitely numbs the mind a bit, not an active high. Just as well, it contains the rare THC derivative THC-V which is known to suppress appetite instead of add to it. This can be a pro or a con depending on how you look at it, most people expect the *munchies* after smoking some high grade herb, while this strain delivers the exact opposite, to where you don't feel like eating at all. Cotton mouth also sets in quick with the Glueberry, also a bit of a con, but she provided plenty for me, and I appreciate it very much. **Edibles Update** -- Made a batch of cannabutter and snickerdoodles with 1/4 cup of the butter to test strength. Ate 5 snickeroodles (smaller) cookies and waited. After about an hour or so (the time it took to digest) a nice wave of euphoria and comfort set in along with that telltale cottonmouth from the strain. Lasted a few hours, decent.

Toward the end of the grow, disease and spider mites hit the indoor frisian dew really hard, she also was way too branchy and could not support her buds properly. Kind of my fault for not manicuring her enough, had to throw away the entire plant. The outdoor plants were a different story, the smaller Frisian Dew and stunted glueberry were definitely affected by the shorter dark period of spring and did not produce big buds, just very resinous and leafy buds. Going to sterilize the grow room before I start my next run of Blue Dream and the other 2 frisians outdoor in the right time of year. Will consider getting neem oil for the mites.0000

It's going well as it could, temps in the box are around 75-76 peak during the day, and about 50% RH. I haven't gotten to the curing stage yet, smoking my samples before I can jar them for a time, won't be an issue once this batch and the main harvest is completed drying. I will be using the closet I grew these in for the bulk of my drying, only using boxes now because most convenient and effective. I think the biggest problem with cardboard is when you cannot suspend the buds in the box and they get uneven drying. I'd say from chop to dry enough to smoke and jar maybe about 5-6 days using the boxes.

Had to string up a couple of branches and anchor them on the Frisian girl, she had SO many bud sites, sad that she wont be as potent or pretty as the glueberries. **That frisian girl was sickly looking with barely any trichomes and loose leafy buds, I moved her outside, chopped her down on 4/24. What's left of her will be most likely used for some extract process.

Everyone's showing off their 2nd week flowers, not long before they start to bulk up. I think I was feeling too over-cautious in not removing more of the lower branches on everyone, gonna be a few larf buds. Humidity has been ranging between 45-60% and a middle ground of about 50%, definitely works better not watering every plant on the same day and instead in cycles.

@korsito i quess pruning is more about branches and lower undeveloped bud sites than leafs ? Corect me if i am wrong ....
korsito
korsitocommented6 years ago
@AsNoriu,the last pruning can be done a few weeks before the buds mature, the other pruning the apical or the fim are more for the plants that grow too tall, but it is used in vegetation, in your case you can only do the last pruning of leaves so that the lower buds take size and do not remain

@AsNoriu,Of course, I refer to the pruning of leaves more than anything, I mean the defoliation technique, if you remove some leaves that cover the light in lower areas, you can even create new shoots, and increase the size of the lower buds , never cut branches blooming, any doubt friend, send me a message by DM.

@DeaneR, These Glueberry girls like to bush and stretch at least 8-12 inches before and during flower I've noticed. Only on week 4 and already the terpenes are kicking in, the glueberry smell is amazing, thick trichome coverage, just a great strain to grow.
