Using the Migro 300 grow light setup, they are at about 30-35% power until the plants sprout and the first fan leaves show. As a growing medium, I am using Plagron coco coir bricks with about 30% perlite (Plant!t) added. The coco bricks were hydrated in water with 1ml/L of Advanced Nutrients Coco grow part A and B as well as some Cal-Mag to compensate for the coco retaining a lot of calcium. I popped the seeds into the middle of my pots (using 3-gallon fabric pots by Root pouch) at about 5 mm (0.2 in) deep. There is no air current at the moment until the seeds germinate and the first fan leaves are showing. 08 March update: Mycorrhiza arrived today 😀 I instantly watered a litre per container with 1.5 ml of Voodoo Juice, Piranha and Tarantula combined. The RH is 61% at the moment and I turned on 2 fans for a light air current directly on the plants. The ladies finally showed themselves today. 👌

The ladies seem to be doing great at the moment. 😁 Tangie #1 seems to have some light tip burning but the newer leaves seem to not have the same issue. Light schedule is still 24/7 at around 50 % power. 13 March: updated the days on the photo comments to represent the age of the plants from when they germinated instead of days since I started the diary. I will postpone starting week 3 so the age of the plants will match the weeks in the diary (i.e. week 2 ending at day 14). 20 March: Yesterday I added 1.5 ml/l Rhino Skin to my nutrient schedule and the stems seem to have thickened overnight, it's crazy!😌 Also, I changed the directions my fans were blowing a few days ago as I noticed the plants closest to them (#1's) were suffering some stress. They seem to be doing better now but are visibly behind on the #2's.

The girls have some light nutrient burn but the newer leaves look pristine so no worries there. 😁 I am doing a light foliar feed with 0.3 ml/l of the AN Sensi Coco Grow A&B and 1 ml/l Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra. I started this when the nutrient burn was already present and it did not progress since. Tucked in some leaves on the # 2's so the bottom nodes receive a bit more light. If the bottom growth manages to catch up without having to LST before trellising that would be great since I'm not a huge fan of wires around my stems. Ideally, I'll be able to start training with the trellis in approximately 5 days. You can bet I'm looking forward to it! 🙏

Started the SCROG 2 days ago, still adjusting branches daily for the best spread. I also defoliated a little bit to make sure no fan leaves were blocking any light from reaching the lower side branches. Started adding Nirvana organic to my nutrients as well as some Bud Candy so they can build an energy reserve in preparation of flowering. Overall the girls seem to be happy. I did notice them being a little bit stressed after the bending. However, next grow I plan on using the trellis in a different way; letting the main branch grow through the trellis and using the net to spread the side branches around it as to reduce the stress even more. I also just like the look of Christmas trees 😅

The stretch seems to be just starting, also Tangie'matic #2 is the first to show sex today 😁 I defoliated all of the ladies and saw no adverse effects or any signs of stress as they did the first time. While I was bending Stardawg #2's main stem under a part of the net it snapped a little bit, about half of the tissue was still connected so I quickly taped it up. A small mistake on my side but it seems she doesn't even notice and is looking great nonetheless. Only Stardawg #1 seems to be behind just a tiny bit, it hasn't started the stretch yet but I expect it to be a non-issue in a few days.🙏 I foliar feed 5 to 6 times a day with 1 ml of Nirvana and 1.5 ml of Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra added to the spray (1-litre bottle). 10 April: Added a little extra nitrogen to my nutrient solution since the #1's are showing some N-deficiency symptoms, the bottom leaves have some interveinal chlorosis and there is slower growth especially on the Stardawg #1. This is clearly visible in the overview picture. Except for Stardawg #1, all of the ladies are showing preflowers and I expect a lot of stretching the following days.

The #1's are still very pale. I hope the extra P and K in the bloom nutrients will solve this issue as I am quite sure it is not iron or mg related. Unless I have a lockout of some nutrient, which should be 'impossible' with the ph-Perfect technology from Advanced Nutrients. Another cause could just be a bad reaction to the high ppm of my nutrient solution. Overall the ladies are doing fine with Stardawg #1 finally growing some pistols.🙌 April 15: Quick overview update, the picture is taken right after a feeding + foliar spray. Imho the girls are looking quite healthy.💪 April 17: Pictures were taken before watering, doing that in an hour or so as the girls are really upping their intake! The paleness has subdued and I am glad to say the problem was a PK deficiency. The higher PPM's are not to blame so I can confidently continue using Advanced Nutrients. Overall the ladies are going strong, and a faint smell is pleasantly tingling my nostrils every time I open the tent.😏 The Tangie'matics are stretching a little bit faster than the Stardawgs, which in turn seem to be just a tad bit bushier than the Tangies. On another note I reached 200 views on this grow journal, this is my first journal here and I want to thank everyone for the interest they're showing! This motivates me to continue updating frequently to make sure everyone can join in on my excitement for our lovely hobby. 👏

The stretch is on! Not only are they growing visibly every day the girls are also very thirsty. Drying out their medium in a day completely, I will need to water a bit more accordingly. Their root mass must be insane!💪 Stardawg #1 has barely started pre-flowering, but I expect a lot from her once she catches up. 🙏 20 April: Happy 4/20 everyone! The girls have grown a lot since yesterday, up to 5 cm on some branches.🙌💪 Tangie'matic #1 is getting a bit of sugar on the buds and the smell is getting stronger overall. 23 April: The Tangie'matics are starting to give off a lovely citrusy smell.😍 The ladies are doing great, with nothing being askew!👏 Stardawg #1 has started developing buds (finally 😌).

The Tangie'matics are already getting a bit frosty, especially #1. Meanwhile, Stardawg #2 is starting to give off a stronger smell every day.😁 Overall I have nothing to complain, bud development seems to be going fine and it's obvious Tangie'matic's genes favour putting a bit more energy into stretching still. Also, Stardawg #1 is trying hard to catch up but I'm sure she'll get there!😋

What a start of the week! The ladies are smelling more lovely day by day, and the stretching seems to have ended entirely. Let the swelling begin! 💪 I will gradually lower the nutrient concentration over the next 2 weeks, depending on the development I'm seeing. I'll add more photos in the next few days. 06 May: Wow! What a smell! 😌 My ladies are coming along great! I predicted the Tangie'matic #1 would come back from her slower start but I did not expect this! 😍 I am looking at potentially my biggest harvest to date, and I can only suspect it is because of the combination of my new grow light (MIGRO 300) and the Advanced Nutrients nutrient stack. My daily love and care are already being rewarded by the beauty of these wonderful plants, and I can not wait to see what they are going to show me over the coming weeks!🙏 Fingers crossed for some colour on the Stardawgs.😜

More pictures will be uploaded soon, the battery gave out before I was able to photograph them all. Stardawg #1 has an interesting phenotype, it does not have the usual 'cone' shaped buds as you can see in the picture. The girls are doing great overall, with some yellowing starting to appear. Lowering the nutrient concentration as I see fit, planning on using flawless finish the last week. 15 May: I stopped using quite a few nutrients and am still building down as the ripening continues. I suspect they have a few more weeks to go, and I can only imagine how much thicker they will get in that time!🙌😌 The Tangie'matics are showing some colour, and even though it's only a little; my fingers are crossed that they will continue developing more. I put some extra effort into the pictures this time, and I hope that it helps you appreciate these lovely ladies.😉😊

Flushing has started! 🙌 The past few days yellowing has set in fast and the ladies are showing off some lovely autumn colours. 😊 I am flushing for one week, so that's 6 more days to go. Trichomes are about 5% amber at the moment.

Hey Brother how high is your ppm? Do you have purple streeks on the stems? Have a good one 😎
Barnievd
Barnievdcommented6 years ago
@Wachsemilian, PPM is 950 ish last time I checked. And yes there are a few purple streaks here and there, mostly on the top side of leaf stems. Since my last update, the ladies are a bit less pale.👏
