First time using this nute line. I had one plant in coco on automatic watering system with a drain to waste schedule and one in organic soil / peat mix using G.O line. The coco was miles ahead of the organic plant and I have to attribute this to the drain-to-waste nutes. Early conslusion is if you want to grow a big plant with a short veg, do drain to waste in coco and you will halve your veg time. Don’t know how it impacts the smoke and yield but will find out in my NL grow. Very happy with the product.
Closing off this diary because they were both males. I’m a bit bummed out but statistically my remaining seeds have a better chance of being female now! 5/8 chance instead of 5/10! The genetics seem very solid. The fan leaves were huge and fat, 100% indica no doubt. Looking forward to getting another round of these in the ground once my northern lights finish up! Cheers!
I'm not seeing any wispy hairs yet, and the clusters of balls make me think Male rather than hermie.. but you could roll the dice and chop all the balls out and see what happens...or unless you want seeds...slay those suckers and have a bonfire in the yard.✌️
@Experimentgreen, yeah both have balls. These are regular seeds so not that surprising. I suppose odds for the rest of the seeds being female increase now! Yeah the organic in soil is my preference but it’s interesting to see how much quicker the drain-to-waste with regular nutes grow.
Looking good man. Will you make Hash with it or will some of the flowers be smoked? I’m always impressed with Barneys seeds, they seem to do as advertised. Good luck with the rest of the grow man and may your harvest crack a smile from ear to ear✌️🏻😬✌️🏻
@Damonkey, haven’t tried to make hash yet. Will venture there soon! Normally just smoke or vape. Maybe this harvest will be the time to try something new! Cheers.
