LoccoMotive 😋😊😉 My 3rd Grow Starts! 😉😊😋 In the running are: Banana Purple Punch Auto - Banana, Fruity, Gummy Bears, Strawberry Apple Strudel Auto - Apple, Sour, Sweet Bruce Banner Auto - Sweet, Fruity, Earthy, Diesel, Floral At first, only the two Fastbuds were supposed to compete. But then I threw in bonus seeds from Sweetseeds less than 12 hours later. 😶 These might not have been stored perfectly by me, so I sent 2 into the race right away. Unfortunately, one of the Banner's in the final pot didn’t want to continue, even though it had looked good in the paper towel 😥 Suspected overwatering 😕 I was outvoted and had to drastically reduce my setup. 😓 So now it’s in the bedroom... I really did everything to make it SUPER QUIET.💤 I think I succeeded very well. As long as I keep the exhaust below level 2, it’s very quiet. For reasons, I have a wall pass-through with an 80mm pipe. This is both a curse and a blessing😇😈 So I had to reduce my 150 fan to an 80 pipe. It’s certainly not optimal. But for such a small tent, it’s enough. And everything is nicely soundproofed. I hope that, even in flowering, I won’t need a carbon filter 😏 Only God knows 🙏 The tent made a very good impression both during setup and now in use. There’s just one thing I have to criticize about Marshydro. The window is just a fly screen 😒 Fair enough, I overlooked it before the purchase. Still, I wasn’t thrilled. I built a window myself from a rain tarp and self-adhesive Velcro. Now I’m getting along very well with the tent. The size will definitely be exciting 😵 The lamp in combination with the WiFi stick also makes a thoughtful and good impression. Since there are 2 apps and 2 sticks from MH, I was briefly confused at first. The app itself requires a few tweaks, but works well so far. How much the plants will like the lamp remains to be seen. 👉 Final setup list: Grow Tent: MARS HYDRO 60x60x140cm MARS HYDRO FC-E1500 LED Grow Lamp 150W, Full Spectrum, Dimmable Daisy Chain, 70x70CM Coverage MARS HYDRO iConnectu, Bluetooth/Wifi USB (MarsHydro App) Aygrochy 10W Oscillating Clip Fan, EC, 10 Speeds CONOPU 6L Humidifier, Ultrasonic Smart (Later it will be outside) Govee WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer 2x GardenMate 5L Plant Bags made of Non-Woven Fabric EC Fan 680m³/h 150mm with Temperature and Humidity Controller (In box, with fabric, soundproofed) NO Carbon Filter. This time through the wall 😎 The 5L fabric pots are filled at the bottom with a small layer of clay pebbles. Above that, up to halfway, is heavily pre-fertilized mineral soil. From here on, only lightly fertilized mineral soil for the seedling phase.

LoccoMotive The first week flew by. The Mars Hydro lamp is really doing great. It's just perfect for this tent, with room to spare. I gave the little one about 200 PPFD.

LoccoMotive Another week in the new setup. All three ladies have received 2ml of Calmag per liter as a precaution. The Fastbuds are making great strides 😯 The plan is to top or fim the two. Even though many have advised against trimming autos, I'm actually quite optimistic. ✊ As long as they continue to do as well as they are now, nothing should stand in the way. 💪 I see plenty of good examples that this can indeed work very well. 🙏 The Bruce Banner seems to have suffered from suboptimal storage. 😴 That's why I won't be doing anything that could stress them too much for now. You can definitely tell she's struggling. Maybe a bit overwatered. 😒 Unfortunately, I've been battling temperature issues this week. 😿 We've had very changeable weather. And the central control of the underfloor heating just can't handle it. 😤 It's so delayed that you can't rely on it being warm when it's cold outside and vice versa. 😩 That's why I had to use heating mats and insulate the pots from the ground. I'm still working on refining and breaking in the setup. The humidifier will move outside later. I need every bit of space I can get. 🙌

LoccoMotive It would have been too good to be true if everything went smoothly 😌 The setup is being adjusted and refined more and more to meet the plants' needs. The humidifier has now moved outside so I can gain more space in the tent. It's now just running constantly on level 1-3, instead of based on humidity measurements. I've increased the watering amounts to 500ml now. At the beginning of the week, I was still using 2ml of Calmag per liter. With the MH app, I've created a sort of day-night simulation. PPFD is around 350-410. On March 18, 2025, about halfway through week 3, I subjected both Fastbuds above the 4th node to F.I.M.ing. 😱 I'm not 100% sure if I did everything right. In my head, it should work out though. 👉👈 The 2 days after the FIMing, they still behave very healthily and look fit. 💪 They've also grown a bit. I'm just not sure what will come of it now. 😵 Around the same time, my Bruce Banner turned into a zombie plant. 👽 It looks like it's about to topple over any moment. Neither dead nor alive. 💀 A couple of hours earlier, it looked quite fit. No idea what that's about... 😟 In the 2 days after that, it only grew minimally... better than nothing at all... I'll keep dragging it along into the flowering stage and see what happens. 😒 Well... right now this grow is a complete mystery bag... 💩 Sometimes it stresses me out more than it should 😐😅 Wish me luck! 😇

LoccoMotive Turbulent times^^ Spoiler: The FIMing didn't go well...😬 The setup is slowly coming together. The ladies are starting to smell just a little by the end of week 4. 😸 I hope the smell will dissipate well through the wall here on the 2nd floor.🙏 I really don't want to run the exhaust above level 1 because of the noise. The ladies are still getting 500ml of pH 6.3 water with 2ml of CalMag each. No additional nutrients. And as long as I don't spot any deficiencies, I won't be adding nutrients. I'm not making that mistake again. 👊 The PPFD is around 500, trending upwards. The light is running at peak at 55%. A couple of days after the FIMing, I felt like restarting... 😩 No idea what exactly I did wrong, but what’s growing out of it wasn’t planned this way. 👉👈 Despite all the stress, the ladies actually look excellent visually. 😊 That's why I immediately continued training as much as I could. The stretch has slowly begun, and I'm curious how big the ladies will get. They look bigger in the pictures than they actually are. They are only in 5l pots after all. In the future, I will never work in such small pots again. I think they stay too small in them. 👊 Signs of premature flowering have appeared. At least it looks that way to my eye. Now at the end of week 4, it looks decent at least^^ 😌 But I don't expect much yield. The Bruce Banner looked quite sickly for a while. 💩 I let it grow completely in peace until the leaf mass increased enough that I could remove the fan leaves. This gave the shoots a lot more space and light. The plan worked, and I was able to start the LST here too. 💪 Meanwhile, the new leaves have also developed significantly healthier. There’s definitely still potential there. 💪 Still, I don't expect any big yields here either. 😅

LoccoMotive The dwarf grow continues 😅 All the ladies are getting around 500-600 PPFD. By the way, all 3 ladies show no signs of nutrient deficiencies. At least to my eye. That's why I haven't added any extra nutrients until today. Which surprises me a bit given the pot size. All 3 ladies are drinking about 500ml every 3 days with 2ml/l Calmag and a pH value of about 6.1-6.2 at room temperature. I'm going to gradually raise the pH. By the end of week 5, it should be around 6.4-6.5. Something I could have guessed has surprised me a bit. It's about the size of the plants. The combination of such small pots and the pruning of autoflowers results in very, very small plants. 😢 So small that it's even too small for my tiny setup. Four plants could have fit in comfortably....👈😐 One thing that really annoys me is the Marshydro app. 😡 My stick (the old one) did a good job until week 4. Unfortunately, it started acting up about 2-3 days ago. 😈 No matter what I set in the app, it was either completely or partially ignored. Percentages and times are no longer being adhered to. 😈 I’ve now thrown the stick out. I went through all the troubleshooting. A good old timer works best. 👊 I've been treating the two Fastbuds almost the same so far. I hope all the side branches stretch up a bit more. The flowering has now kicked in for both. They probably won't get much bigger. 😅 In terms of yield, we’re looking at something similar to the speeds in the previous grow... which I wouldn’t welcome... The Bruce Banner is still lagging behind. The flowering is just starting there. I don’t think it will get much bigger either. 💩 I’ve continued to train it to keep it in shape. So that all the branches have enough space and light. And now the flowering can slowly begin. All in all, I’m not completely satisfied with my 3rd grow. Everything is quite vague right now and not very promising.... 😐 But that’s mainly due to my curiosity and risk-taking. And not because of the quality of the seeds. 🙌😬👉 I will definitely work with photos and larger pots in the next grow. ✊

LoccoMotive It's starting to look pretty good. Not much has happened. At the top of the BPP, it's now about 670 PPFD, with a DLI of 44. At the highest point of the BB, I'm landing at 450 PPFD, with a DLI of 26. So I'm going to start raising them differently. All 3 ladies received 5ml/l of Hesi Bloom because I noticed they all seemed a bit weak. It's still very hard for me to grow without a feeding schedule. I definitely want to avoid over-fertilization. They continue to drink about 500ml every 3 days, with Calmag. PH 6.5. The Fastbuds are doing quite well now. The buds look pretty promising on both. I think there will be more yield here than with the Speeds in the 2nd grow. 🙏🙏🙏 I've defoliated a bit here and there. The upper fan leaves of the BPP are bothering me a little. But I don't want to take too much away. It's already airy up there. I'm still not sure how to assess the Bruce Banner. Sometimes it looks like no one can touch it. Then again, it droops its heads. But it's not really getting into gear. I hope there's still potential. In terms of flowering, there's not much to see yet... The smell in the tent is getting a bit sweeter, but it's still very weak.

LoccoMotive 🌱 Update from Grow Week 7 🌱 Hey dwarfs, hey dwarfs, hey dwarfs ho! 🧙‍♂️ At the very top of the BPP, I'm measuring about 700 PPFD, with a DLI of 46 ☀️ At the highest point of the BB and AS, I'm hitting 600 PPFD, with a DLI of 37 🌿 Nutrient Check & Learnings Looking back, I definitely should have started light feeding earlier 🤔 Especially with the BPP, you can tell that not everything is running optimally 😕 Whether it's a deficiency or over-fertilization – no idea 😅 To avoid over-fertilization, I've reduced the concentration ⚖️ The smell is still manageable and rather weak.😶 I watered again at the end of the week, only with Calmag. In the next watering, I'll be using the bloom booster. Currently, all three ladies are getting: ➡️ 4.1 ml/l Hesi Bloom ➡️ 1.0 ml Calmag 💧 🍏 Plant Performance Apple Strudel Developing the prettiest buds so far – really impressive 🍏🍰 Banana Purple Punch Looks good too, but is a bit behind 🌱 Might still end up yielding more 📈 Did a bit of defoliation – a couple of the large, yellowish sail leaves are gone ✂️ From now on, probably no further trimming needed 🌼 Bruce Banner Slowly becoming presentable 💪 I'm quite happy with its growth 😌 ⏳ Next Steps Now it's all about light feeding & chilling ⏳ Patiently waiting for the buds to grow & be ready for harvest 🌸 The BB is taking its time – probably will finish a bit later 🐢 But that's fine, because I want to harvest the Fastbuds nice and amber-colored anyway 🔶 🔥 Outlook Qualitatively: It's sure to be a feast 🎉 Quantitatively: Rather modest 😅 But honestly: I can hardly wait for the first taste! 😍🔥

LoccoMotive 🌱 Grow Diary – Week 9 🌱 💡 Light Values (Headbud): BPP (Banana Purple Punch Auto): 🔆 900 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 60 AS (Apple Strudel Auto): 🔆 760 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 50 BB (Bruce Banner Auto): 🔆 760 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 50 Fertilization From here on, I have stopped adding Calmag to all the ladies for now. I think I have a slight blockage of P and K due to too much N. With pH Plus, I adjust the pH value of the water after fertilizing back to 6.6. 🍌 Banana Purple Punch Auto: 2.0 ml Bloom Complex 1.2 ml Phosphor Plus In 800ml water💧 Bruce Banner: 2.0 ml Bloom Complex 1.2 ml Phosphor Plus In 800ml water💧 🍏 Apple Strudel Auto: 800ml just water💧 (Since it's almost ready for harvest) 🌸 Smell Update: Since I don't like to crush my buds like others, I can only rub the stems. But it predominantly smells very sweet 🍬 and fruity 🍓. The BB, for example, is really starting to take off now 🚀. With 3 different strains in such a small tent, it's hard to pick out anything specific to smell 👃. The smell is nicely being sucked out to the outside as I thought it would 💨🌬️. 🌡️ Weather Report: Early summer has really hit this week! ☀️ We had/have up to 30° during the day 🔥 and 19° at night 🌙. My setup is doing its job very well so far 🛠️. However, I had to set the exhaust to level 2–3 now ⚙️. Plant Log Week 9: 🍇 Banana Purple Punch Auto (BPP): I was a bit confused by the AP 🤔, because it finished so quickly that I transferred its behavior to the BPP. Since both are from Fastbuds and should be equally fast. But now the side buds have really picked up in their entirety 💪. And the already beautiful headbud looks even a bit bigger and prettier now 😍. ➡️ It will probably take another 1–2 weeks. ⏳ 🍏 Apple Strudel Auto (AS): Her buds look so juicy and delicious 😋, that I even cut off the "headbud" to try it ✂️^^ Yaaas the headbud! It was a bit deformed anyway 😅, so it's not a big deal. This way, the lower buds have better light yield 💡 and will ripen a bit more 🍂. ➡️ Mid-week 10, it will be time! 📆 Bruce Banner Auto (BB): After the big defoliation, it seems she is now at least developing the buds that are there 🌿. Slowly but steadily, you can definitely see progress here 📈. I hope there's still some action to come! 🙏 ➡️ I would give her another 2-3 weeks. 🗨️ Comment of the Week: -The prettier the ladies get 💃, the sadder I become that they stayed so small 😢. I put in too much effort in that regard 😮‍💨. I actually wanted to fill the whole tent 🏕️. -🛠️ I finally set up a new small drying tent with a fan 💨 and carbon filter. Because after the grow is before the grow 🔁🌱. And the next one is already in planning 🧠📋. -Small prediction from my side: If I harvest over 60g all in all, I'm doing well 🎯🌱. 🎶 The Grow Must Go On! 🌿

LoccoMotive 🌱 Grow Diary – Week 10 🌱 💡 Light Values (Headbud): BPP (Banana Purple Punch Auto): 🔆 900 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 60 AS (Apple Strudel Auto): 🔆 760 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 50 BB (Bruce Banner Auto): 🔆 760 PPFD | ☀️ DLI 50 Fertilization 🍌 Banana Purple Punch Auto: 1000ml only water 💧 🍏 Apple Strudel Auto: 1000ml only water 💧 Bruce Banner: 2.0 ml Bloom Complex 1.2 ml Phosphor Plus In 800ml water 💧 🌸 Smell Update: It’s just brutal how the scents can suddenly become so intense. The setup without the carbon filter is doing its job very well. The smells are nicely sucked away through the wall. 🌡️ Weather Report: ☀️ We had/still have up to 30° during the day 🔥 and 19° at night 🌙. My setup is doing its job very well so far 🛠️. However, I had to set the exhaust to level 2–3 ⚙️. With the temperature and humidity, I also have to make compromises. If it gets too warm, there’s not much I can do about it. Unfortunately, an air conditioner is out of the question. The humidifier is also hard to automate when it’s outside. Plant Log Week 10: 🍇 Banana Purple Punch Auto (BPP): She has noticeable deficiencies. But her color play is enchanting. Her smell is amazing. She smells very fruity sweet and a bit creamy, I would say. Very cool and intense. ➡️ Max one more week. 📆 🍏 Apple Strudel Auto (AS): Right on time at the end of week 10, the lady will be harvested and move to the drying tent. I was able to study the "Headbud" already. But more on that in the harvest section. Spoiler: Her yield is quite limited... ➡️ End of week 10 📆 Bruce Banner Auto (BB): The latecomer seems to be producing something useful at least. I’m not sure how much more she can give, or how long I should leave her. She has developed the buds quite well. But she is still very leafy. Some trichomes are already amber-colored. Since she is sativa-dominant, I could let her overripe. Then her effect would resemble more of a 50/50 hybrid. But the next grow is already on the way ^^ ➡️ I would give her another 1-2 weeks. 📆 🗨️ Comment of the Week: - 🛠️ Drying tent is running... Temperature and humidity are hard to maintain in this weather. - Overall, I’m already proud. Qualitatively, it seems to be very good this time. But quantitatively, it won’t be a good harvest. The BPP is pulling the whole thing up somewhat. - My prediction remains. If I harvest over 60g all in all, I’ll be happy 🎯🌱. 🎶 The Grow Must Go On! 🌿

"Apple Strudel Auto – a strain that delivers on its promises! This genetics is not only beautiful to look at, but also impresses with its potency and stability. The cultivation went super fast and uncomplicated. And the best part: It actually smells and tastes like a sweet-sour apple strudel! Due to the slightly longer ripening time, the effect is now pleasantly light Indica-dominant – perfect for relaxing after a long day. However, one should not underestimate the high potency, as it could be a bit too strong for some."

LoccoMotive 🌱 Grow Diary – Week 11 🌱 "Week 11 and the harvest of the Apple Strudel Auto is coming up. 🏁 Due to 5-liter pots and Fimming experiments in a 60x60x140 cm tent, the yield turned out to be rather low at just under 24 grams. 📉 The harvest could have taken place in week 9 or 10, but was deliberately delayed to achieve an amber trichome development. ⏳ The quality of the buds, however, is impressive all around. ✨ They smell intensely of apple and the effect is relatively balanced, slightly Indica-dominant. 🍎😴 Qualitatively a very good result, but quantitatively rather modest. ⚖️" Similar to the other two plants...

Banana Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds The Banana Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds is a truly impressive and straightforward genetics! I often struggle with scents, especially when I'm exposed to them daily, I lose my fine sense of smell. My pheno definitely had typical citrus notes, with a great creaminess, and where one can easily sense a banana. Its resistances are noticeably strong, as even my failed FIM attempts and growing in a small pot could only partially hold it back. It has handled all of this super well and still delivered fantastic quality.

LoccoMotive 🍌🌿 Harvest Week: Banana Purple Punch Auto 🌿🍌 seedling The Plant seedling My FIM attempt and the small 5-liter pot kept her small, but she still looked fantastic! ✨ It will definitely be different in the next grow. ✅ ✂️ The Harvest ✂️ I harvested her extremely amber – the ripeness was perfect! 🍂 A week earlier, I had already partially harvested the head bud so that the lower buds could continue to ripen. 🎯 ⚖️ The Result ⚖️ In the end, there was "only" 35g dry, but for the size of the plant, that's acceptable! 👍 It's amazing how quickly such quality develops. 🤯 The Banana Purple Punch Auto is a beautiful genetics! 💜 My last Fastbud was definitely not that. seedling

LoccoMotive Harvest week: Bruce Banner Auto The Bruce Banner Auto was definitely a shaky candidate in my grow this time. At just under 13 weeks, it wasn't the fastest, and unfortunately, the yield confirmed my expectations. I was expecting about 25 grams, and even though the final yield turned out to be a bit low, it was still a little beauty in its development. The smell was unfortunately not really striking or special with my phenotype, which was a bit disappointing. But the most important thing is that it impresses in terms of taste and effect – and it absolutely does. Once again, it shows that growing in too small pots has its pitfalls and directly affects the yield. Still, I was impressed by the quality of the trichomes; They were nice and thick and clearly showed the difference between the genetics from Sweedseeds compared to Fastbuds. It's always fascinating how such details make a difference. All in all, it was an educational experience with the Bruce Banner Auto. Despite the lower yield and the unremarkable smell, it impressed me with its quality in terms of taste and effect. Next time, I will definitely give it more space for root development.

@Momentum, 😂😂😂 This is what my GTA RP character looked like. Since we were in the drug business, I found it somehow fitting😅 The appearance was a requirement to not break the gang's lore.👍

@BrediniGreeny, It's all over the place for me 😂 But things are really moving towards flowering for you 👌 Good luck 👍

Oh, don't worry too much, it looks good already 👍, maybe just add a bit more N to the nutrients since they still need a little at the beginning of flowering. At least that's what I would assume, since the leaves are quite light. Other than that, I think you just need to be patient, a few weeks will pass before they're really ripe 😁.

@McBubatz, Unfortunately, I don't have a suitable single preparation here. I have to make it work with the Hesi^^ But thanks. Overall, yeah, a nice grow, but it's just not going according to plan ^^

@LoccoMotive, Pay attention to your conditions, distance to the lamp, and larger pots. With a smaller setup, it's best to have one or at most 2 plants in slightly bigger containers… Smaller, stunted plants usually result from too much light in too small of an environment. Good luck!

@Schnabeldino, I love having this selection now. Whether I want to smoke Purple Punch, Amnesia, or Bruce Banner. Now I can choose for myself. You've probably been like this for a long time :D

Congratulations on the harvest! 🌱💚 I thought they would yield more, but I miscalculated. They looked bigger in the photos. 😊 Anyway, quality is what matters, in my opinion. And the buds look amazing! 🤤😍 Have fun enjoying! 😊✌️

Nice result! I think the amount isn't that crucial. Sure, it feels good when there's a lot, but the experience should be the main focus. With the autos, the supply doesn't take long to come back. Keep growing and have fun with the two delicious strains.

@HerrTom, I was hoping for a bit more. But by the end of the grow, I knew what to expect. So, yeah, it would have been nice. But it is what it is. And now I have a couple more experiences to research 😅 Thank you, and likewise 💪
