Hey there the way you are growing the plant right now is leave all the shoots coming from the main shoot. If the shoots coming from the the main start making shoots b4 you flip to flower I would cut them off Just plan for when you flip to flower that you don’t cut any big fan leaves or shoots during the stretch the 1st 21days of flower (21days after you flip to flower) The plant will go into hyper mode the 1st 21days of flower it will grow a lot so keep that in mind when you are in veg not to get the plant to big After day 21 of flower you can look at your plants and analyze what buds are gonna get good light and witch spots won’t then you can defoliate really good at that time and cut off any lower shoots that don’t jump up and get a god amount of light I would just keep pulling that main stem down closer to the ground slowly and let all the shoots coming off the main shoot all become main shoots and have colas on the end of each of them Don’t stress it to much. After your 1st grow you will see how the whole life cycle goes and every time after this grow you will be a lot more prepared for what happens next Also when the plants go into the stretch they really start to want water don’t be surprised if you have to start watering 2x as often as durring veg sometimes if the plants are in a small pot you could have to water daily or every other day Also keep in mind after the stretch the plant will start to want less water but still more water than durring veg Your doing a good job so far don’t stress to much just take this grow as a learning lesson Good luck
