Canna_Enthusiast Plant is still going strong, added a scrog fence for full horizontal coverage.
I like to hang the scrog as low as possible to make it a part of the plant structure.
Next week some defoliation will be done.

Canna_Enthusiast Defoliation done properly to my liking.
Lets see how the side branches react to more light getting through.
Lowered the light schedule to 18 hours and will gradually decrease the light schedule into flower.
(Aiming for the 12/12 cycle when 2/3 of the scrog is filled, approximately in 2/3 weeks)
Also increased the intensity of the light to 60% of power from 40% of power.
Really love the dimmable function of the Sanlight

Canna_Enthusiast Sadly I’ve discovered some rootrot.
The PH dropped to 5.2 within one day, I measure PH daily and already noticed some deficiency in the old leaves.
I immediately checked the roots and discovered slimey brown gunk on my roots.
Decided to cut all the gunk off and clean and sterilize the resivoir.
Placed the plant in quarantine with very low light to let the plant focus on recovery and root building instead of growth.
This rotting situation will probably set me back for 2/3 weeks but I expect the plant to comeback fine.

Canna_Enthusiast It took a good 2 weeks to rebuild the roots from scratch. The tips of the leaves are a bit burned.
But other than that the plant is growing and
thriving.
In hindsight I’m guessing the cause of the rootrot was light leakage.
So for now I’ve used aluminum foil to block the light reaching the reservoir.
Will keep it in veg until 50/60 % of the scrog is filled.
Hopefully the stretch is not too massive but only one way to find out!

Canna_Enthusiast The lady in distress recovered very well.
All new growth is looking happy and healthy just like the root system.
I’m expecting she can flip to 12/12 next week (depending on how fast she fills up the scrog net)
Will increase the light intensity slowly next weeks so when she gets into flower it is full throtle.

Canna_Enthusiast Another week has passed and the ladies were treated with some defoliation.
The roots have recovered nicely and the plant is looking healthy.
The day after defoliation I flipped the clock to 12/12.
Expecting to see some flowering signs in the next 10 days.

Canna_Enthusiast 8 days ago I’ve switched to 12/12 but the plant is already showing the first pistils which indicate flowering has started.
Did some defoliation yesterday and today it looked happy and healthy.
The water reservoir is nearly empty which means it drinks about a liter of water per day.
Will drain out the remaining water tomorrow and add aqua flores, canna boost and more. (Will update nutrients tomorrown in list)
