Week 3 is over, and it's amazing to see how this strain is developing. Let's take a look at the details of this exciting week. Growth and Development: In week 3, my Cheese plant is growing quite a bit! The leaves are robust and have a bright green color reminiscent of a lush meadow. The internodes are starting to elongate nicely, and I can already see some branches developing that look promising for a good yield. It's truly a pleasure to watch as the plant develops so well. Nutrients: I've carefully tailored the nutrients to the plant's needs. This week, I've used a combination of nitrogen-rich and potassium-rich fertilizers to stimulate both vegetative growth and flowering. The Cheese plant seems to appreciate this mix, as the leaves are vibrant and sturdy. Light and Temperature: The light cycle remains at 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, which seems optimal for this strain. The temperatures range between 21-24°C, which is ideal. I've kept the humidity around 52%, which seems perfect for growth and prevents the plant from drying out. Training: I also started low-stress training (LST) this week to keep the branches in check and allow more light to reach the lower parts of the plant. It's incredible to see how Cheese adapts to the training. The branches have already started to grow, and the adjacent shoots are getting more opportunities to develop. Health Check: So far, everything is healthy and in top condition! There are no signs of pests or diseases, and the leaves are free from spots or other abnormalities. I regularly check for any issues and make sure to water the plant well. Conclusion: All in all, week 3 has been a fantastic period for my Cheese plant. The plants are showing clear progress in their flowering development. The buds are starting to take shape nicely and are covered with a good number of trichomes, indicating a healthy bloom. The smell is intense and typical for Cheese, with a sharp, earthy scent that gets stronger every day. The plants are vigorous and show no signs of stress or disease. Care and Nutrition: This week, the plants have been further fed with a mix of phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium to support flowering. The potassium and phosphorus levels have been increased to promote bud development, and the plants are receiving the necessary micronutrients to maintain their health. The pH level of the water is being closely monitored and remains within the ideal range of 6.2 to 6.5. The buds are starting to develop nicely and the first signs of resin production are clearly visible. The typical Cheese aroma is also cautiously starting to come through. The plants are drinking well and responding positively to the combination of Plagron Bloom as the base nutrient and the addition of Hesi PK 13/14 for extra phosphorus and potassium. Leaf color is a healthy dark green, with no signs of deficiencies or burning. Humidity has been adjusted down a bit this week (around 45-50%) to prevent mold issues as the buds get fuller. Temperature under the lamp remains nicely around 25°C. Comments: Bud structure is compact and uniform. The branches are starting to feel the weight of the buds slightly. Might need some extra support soon. Stretch has almost stopped; the focus is now fully on bud formation and swelling. Plan: In the coming weeks, continue with the PK 13/14 according to schedule. They are noticeably thicker and heavier, with an increasingly intense smell – the typical sharp Cheese aroma is now constantly present in the room. The combination of Plagron Bloom and Hesi PK 13/14 continues to perform well. The buds are sparkling with trichomes, and the leaf structure looks healthy and strong. No signs of nutrient deficiencies or excess. Humidity remains stable around 45%, with a constant temperature of 24–25°C. Air circulation is adequate to prevent mold formation, especially now that the buds are becoming denser. Observations: Buds are visibly heavier; some branches are supported with tie wire. Trichomes are mostly still clear; no signs of ripening yet. The plant still has a healthy appetite and is absorbing nutrients well. Lower leaves lightly pruned to direct energy to the buds.
