SUPER BUFF CHERRY💪🍒

BigDripFelgo Bought a Super Buff Cherry (SuperBoof x Tropicana Cherry) clone kept her as a small mother and now taking cuttings to grow out. Dipped cuttings in Clonex Gel and placed them in the CloneKing aeroponic cloner with a mix of Clonex Solution 5ml/l and GH RapidStart 1/4ml/l. Cleaned the mother a bit more and placed them back in the 3x3 under the SF2000pro dimmed at 50%. Hoping all 9 cuttings root well in the next week or two. I will continue to keep the mother for future cuttings and plan to cross her with my strain Pink Airline. Wish these clones luck!!

BigDripFelgo Clones are still working on these roots..some seem to be heading towards the right direction so there’s hope lol. Cleaned the cloner and replaced the solution with a fresh mix of Clonex Solution at 10ml/l and GH RapidStart at 1/2ml/l. Also redipped several of the clones that are a little behind in some Clonex Gel to see if it helps them root.

BigDripFelgo Roots looking good so I transplanted into solo cups with FF HF soil mixed with perlite and Great White powder on the roots as well as in the soil. Transplant was on Friday March 21st, so it’s been nearly a week since transplant from cloned to solo cups.

BigDripFelgo Last transplant for these SBC into their final 3 gallon pot. Mixed FF HF soil with small and coarse perlite, Promix HP and GreatWhite Granular 1. These SBC will not veg for long to minimize size and have a more manageable tent. I’m thinking maybe 2 more weeks and I’ll flip to flower.

BigDripFelgo Moved mother plant into this tent after trimming her and taking many cuttings. They look ok but the top growth are a little curled or wilting. Hoping they perk back up before flipping to flowering but I don’t think I will wait for them to due to space and time.

BigDripFelgo These will be flipped to flower on Friday April 18 2025. I’m very excited for them to start flowering but nervous that they stretch too much as they are already a good size. Will add trellis maybe first week of flowering to tuck sites and spread them, but also to try and tame the stretch some. I believe these can yield a good amount but I’m hoping to produce quality over quantity!

BigDripFelgo Well they quickly transitioned to flowering and stretching. Already giving off a sweet tropical fruit scent. Watered them and they quickly started to droop slightly (you can tell from the before and after pictures posted) which is something I normally see happening when growing clones, not sure why but maybe I should water them more often instead of allowing too much dryback. They bounced right back within a hour tho as shown on the pictures posted aswell. I’m excited for this strain!! I have taken many more clones (pictures posted) a total of 25 more and I’ve been sharing them with the town and friends. Might keep another mother for future use.

BigDripFelgo Wow..just a week into flowering and they already started showing some purple. The stretch was the most minimal stretch of any strain I have ever grown, I was expecting more stretch so I added the net a little late on purpose. There was barely any stretch and the bud sites already started to form nicely specially on the second week of flowering. I will definitely be keeping a clone around.

BigDripFelgo Beautiful plants growing rapidly and vigorously, they are filling up with trichomes faster than the buds are bulking lol. The colors coming through are super pretty and dominant, the scent they give off so far is super tropical and sweet. Will raise the light height to increase the intensity from 60% to 80% this week beginning of week 4!

BigDripFelgo SuperBuffCherry she is a beauty and easy to grow, have definitely kept another mother for future grows and crosses. Just one week into flowering and she was showing colors, now 4 weeks in and buds are already starting to swell. Hoping the next several weeks they continue to build up those buds and swell up nicely for a decent yield, but this looks more like better quality over quantity which is good for me! Will start to supplement with UVB light starting at 15 minutes for a week.

BigDripFelgo These ladies are beautiful they look and smell delicious, the house and outside the house smells like tropical fruits and cherries with some baked pastries undertone. These are nearly finishing up but the trichome production is not slowing down, everyday they seem to add more frosting and buds structuring nicely. I’m worried of PM contamination spreading to these ladies due to my other grow tent infected, so I’ll be using some diluted GreenCleaner till these finish up!

BigDripFelgo Two more weeks and these ladies should be done around day 56. They are sure looking very appealing, beautiful fuchsia like color and the scent is very sweet and tropical. Fed them for the last time at half strength. Excited to harvest these!!!

BigDripFelgo Finishing up from the looks of the trichomes and the breeders recommended time (+/- 56 days) they will be coming down soon! Still supplementing 2 hrs of UVB mid day, stopped nutrients and began flushing with flawless finish. They are looking so delicious and smelling very sweet and tropical, its scent radiates everywhere in the house from the basement to the second floor!! Also I recently remembered I never put on the carbon filter back since last grow smfh which is why it smells so strong outside.

BigDripFelgo Flushed heavily with Flawless Finish for two weeks, last flush was 4 or 5 days before harvesting. Was thinking of harvesting on day 62 (week9 flowering) but trichomes were showing plenty of amber by day 51, by day 54 amber trichomes were even more apparent as shown on last uploaded pics of trichomes. The ladies were harvested on the 57th just a day over 8 weeks. They sat in the dark for nearly 3 days before harvesting just because it’s a practice I’ve always done and I haven’t seen any negative affects so I continue to do it. They are now hung to dry for a minimum of 10 days, aiming for 12 or more tho. Also want to mention, I rinsed half of the plants under cold water in the shower to compare the difference in taste, scent and smoke. Especially because I treated them with GreenCleaner early on which claim can be used up to harvest.
